Bolsonaro promised a violent uprising if the election was stolen from him.

But I guess refusing to hand over a sash is close enough.

Reuters:

Outgoing Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro landed in Florida on Friday, after delivering a teary message to his supporters less than two days before his fierce leftist rival Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is set to take office.

An official Brazilian plane landed in Orlando, Florida late on Friday, flight tracking website FlightAware showed. Although Bolsonaro’s destination has not been officially confirmed, his security staff were already in place in Florida.

Bolsonaro’s exit from Brazil came after he repeatedly said he would not hand over the presidential sash to Lula at Sunday’s inauguration, breaking with Brazil’s democratic tradition. He may also face legal risks from remaining in Brazil as his presidential immunity expires when Lula takes office.

His departure followed an emotional final address on social media earlier on Friday, in which he ran through the highlights of his time in office, sought to defend his legacy, and tried to inspire his followers into keeping up the fight against Lula.

Vice President Hamilton Mourao is now acting president after Bolsonaro left the country, his press office said. But Mourao will not pass the presidential sash to Lula, a spokesperson noted, raising doubts about who will do the ceremonial handover.

The presidential plane departed Brasilia shortly after 2 pm local time.

“I am in flight, back soon,” Bolsonaro was quoted as saying by CNN Brasil earlier in the day. His press office did not respond to a request for comment.

The U.S. State Department did not respond to a request for comment. The U.S. embassy in Brasilia referred questions about Bolsonaro’s trip to the Brazilian president’s office.

Bolsonaro’s exit follows weeks of silence, after he lost Brazil’s most fraught election in a generation.

Some of Bolsonaro’s supporters have refused to accept Lula’s victory, believing his baseless claims that the October election was stolen. That has contributed to a tense atmosphere in the capital Brasilia, with riots and a foiled bomb plot last week.

It seems to me that democracy simply is not a viable form of government if you care about what the masses of people think and if you don’t want society to completely collapse.

It sure is strange that even on the right-wing, people keep going on and on about “our democracy.”

Seriously – who thinks like that?

Who cares?

Clearly, the left does not.

Brazil: Alleged Bolsonaro Supporters Allegedly Attempt to Invade Police Headquarters https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/12/13/brazil-alleged-bolsonaro-supporters-allegedly-attempt-to-invade-police-headquarters/ Tue, 13 Dec 2022 00:00:00 +0000

Police officer fires a shotgun at Bolsonaro supporters

This is an allegation.

Though to be fair: Bolsonaro supporters are a lot more likely to overthrow the government and put their elected leader back in office following a hoax election than Donald Trump supporters were.

Reuters:

Supporters of far-right Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Monday attempted to invade the federal police headquarters in the capital Brasilia, in a flash of post-election violence on the day the president’s electoral defeat was certified.

Reuters witnesses saw Bolsonaro supporters, many in their trademark yellow national soccer jerseys or draped in Brazilian flags, confronting security forces at police headquarters. Police fired stun grenades and tear gas to disperse the crowd. Nearby buses and cars were set on fire.

Federal police said “disturbances” near the headquarters were being handled with support from capital security forces.

The violence unfolded after a Bolsonaro supporter was detained for allegedly organizing violent “anti-democratic acts,” according to the judge who ordered his arrest.

Earlier on Monday, the federal electoral court (TSE) certified the Oct. 30 election victory of Bolsonaro’s leftist rival, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, as president. After months of baseless suggestions that Brazil’s voting system is vulnerable to fraud, Bolsonaro has neither conceded defeat to Lula nor has he formally blocked the handover of power.

But some of the president’s most diehard supporters have blocked highways in protest and camped out in front of army barracks, calling for a military coup to bar Lula from office.

Hundreds of Bolsonaro supporters gathered outside the presidential residence on Monday afternoon with banners calling for “military intervention.” The president joined them for a public prayer but did not address the crowd.

“There’s not going to be an inauguration,” said Jose Trindade, 58, one of the Bolsonaro supporters in the crowd. “Bolsonaro was re-elected, but they stole it. So only the army can put things in order.”

The conspiracy theories and subsequent violence have rekindled memories of the January 2021 invasion of the U.S. Capitol by supporters of former U.S. President Donald Trump. It also raises security concerns about Jan. 1, when Lula takes office in a public ceremony in Brasilia.

Senator Randolfe Rodrigues, a key Lula aide, said there were concerns about the physical safety of Lula and Vice President-elect Geraldo Alckmin, as protesters had surrounded the hotel where he is staying in Brasilia. Lula’s team denied reports that Lula would be removed from the hotel by helicopter.

…

The violence in Brasilia came after Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who has led probes into Bolsonaro and his allies, on Monday ordered the temporary arrest of José Acácio Serere Xavante for allegedly carrying out anti-democratic acts.

Xavante, an indigenous leader, is among the Bolsonaro supporters who have protested in defiance of the Oct. 30 election result.

“I cannot accept criminals reigning in Brasil,” Xavante tweeted last month. “Lula cannot be certified.”

Frankly, I expected more from Bolsonaro and his supporters.

They all knew the election was going to be fake and they didn’t plan for it.

Show me what democracy looks like!

This is what democracy looks like:

Brazil: Police Accused of Massacring Civilians, More Than 20 Dead https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/05/08/brazil-police-accused-of-massacring-civilians-more-than-20-dead/ Sat, 08 May 2021 00:00:00 +0000

Police operation in Rio leaves at least 23 dead (including 1 policeman), deadliest such raid since at least 2016 https://t.co/deIYMdPizP

— Brian Winter (@BrazilBrian) May 6, 2021

Police in Brazil may be killing defenseless people and then claiming that they were criminals.

The media refers to a recent incident as a shootout, but what kind of shootout between police and criminals leaves over 20 criminals dead and only one police officer dead?

If the dead were really armed criminals, how come they only managed to kill one officer?

But perhaps these were really dangerous criminals caught off guard.

Whatever the case, the question to ask is what is stopping the Virus Regime police from doing targeted killings and then claiming that there was a dangerous shootout with some kind of terrorists?

We are already seeing the police go crazy against the people in places like Colombia, so this may be a “first they came for the poor black people in the favela…” kind of situation.

AP:

A bloody, hourslong gunbattle in a Rio de Janeiro slum echoed into Friday, with authorities saying the police mission killed two dozen criminals while residents and activists claimed human rights abuses.

It was just after sunrise Thursday when dozens of officers from Rio de Janeiro state’s civil police stormed Jacarezinho, a favela in the city’s northern zone. They were targeting drug traffickers from one of Brazil’s most notorious criminal organizations, Comando Vermelho, and the bodies piled up quickly.

When the fighting stopped, there were 25 dead — one police officer and 24 people described by the police as “criminals.”

One resident told The Associated Press that a man barged into her home around 8 a.m. bleeding from a gunshot wound. He hid in her daughter’s room, but police came rushing in right behind him.

She said that she and her family saw officers shoot the unarmed man.

Hours later, his blood was still pooled on her tile floor and soaked into a blanket decorated with hearts.

On Friday, protesters gathered outside police headquarters near Jacarezinho to denounce the violence, holding a banner that read “STOP KILLING US!”

Even shortly after the shooting died down, about 50 residents of Jacarezinho has poured into a narrow street to follow members of the state legislature’s human rights commission who were conducting an inspection. They shouted “Justice!” while clapping their hands. Some raised their right fists into the air.

Felipe Curi, a detective in Rio’s civil police, denied there were any executions.

“There were no suspects killed. They were all traffickers or criminals who tried to take the lives of our police officers and there was no other alternative,” he said at a news conference.

Curi said some suspects had sought refuge in residents’ homes, and six of them were arrested. Police also seized 16 pistols, six rifles, a submachine gun, 12 grenades and a shotgun, he said.

Bolsonaro’s son Carlos, a Rio city councilman who is influential on social media, supported police. He expressed condolences to the family of the fallen officer on Twitter, while skipping any mention of the other 24 dead or their families. The president didn’t refer to the incident at all Thursday night in his weekly live broadcast on Facebook.

Whoa, that’s hardcore.

He may soon be running on a platform based on the idea that all black people in Brazil must be violently murdered by the police, and he may succeed.

Carlos has a picture of his father Jair’s face tattooed on his arm.

Maybe slaughtering the blacks is funny.

But if the Virus System is allowing mass slaughters without any form of government inquiry, it’s something we’re going to want to keep an eye on.

Bolsonaro Tells People to Stop Whining About Coronavirus https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/03/06/bolsonaro-tells-people-to-stop-whining-about-coronavirus/ Sat, 06 Mar 2021 12:50:32 +0000

People really are just acting like absolute babies, no?

The Independent:

President Jair Bolsonaro has told Brazilians to “stop whining” about Covid-19, and criticised measures to curb the virus as cities impose their own restrictions in the face of record new cases.

Mr Bolsonaro said: “Stop whining. How long are you going to keep crying about it? How much longer will you stay at home and close everything?

“No one can stand it anymore. We regret the deaths, again, but we need a solution,” he said at an event, according to the BBC.

The comments come as Brazil faces its worst phase of the pandemic yet while the country’s health system is on the “verge of collapse”.

The reason “Brazil has the highest rate” is that Brazil is a corrupt and poor country where a lot of people die, so they’re able to say these deaths are happening.

No one is dying from a virus that doesn’t exist, I can tell you this much.

People are cowards and babies, and it’s disgusting.

Stories like this really show the true power of love and the beauty of the jungle.

Daily Mail:

A 12-year-old Brazilian boy has allegedly confessed to the shocking killing of a nine-year-old autistic girl, found strangled in a wood with signs of sexual abuse.

Raíssa Caparelli went missing last Sunday afternoon from a local charity event, which she was attending with her family, at the Unified Educational Centre (CEU) in Anhanguera, a suburb in São Paulo.

Her body was discovered roughly two-and-a-half miles away from the festival, bound by a rope to a tree in the city’s municipal park.

Investigators said part of a cord was wrapped around her neck but they do not believe she was hanged as her bare feet were ‘flat on the ground’.

Her distraught mother, Rosevânia, told Brazilian Record TV: ‘This tragedy has ripped my heart out.

‘Raíssa was a sweet, docile child. Because of her autism she was scared and timid and did not relate well to strangers.’

Raíssa

Raíssa and the killer

Details released by police indicated that the child was conscious throughout the vicious assault which left her face covered in blood.

Chief superintendent Eduardo Marturano of the São Paulo police department for child crime (DHPP) said: ‘The injuries to her face were so severe it was difficult to even identify her.’

The victim also suffered brutal injuries to her shoulders and deep wounds to her body and legs.

No weapons were found at the crime scene but forensics suspect a piece of wood, possibly a branch from a tree, was used to repeatedly batter the victim, which possibly contributed to her death.

According to investigators, the possible cause of death is asphyxiation. However, confirmation will only be possible after the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) releases its report within the next couple of weeks.

The body has already been examined for sexual abuse as her injuries were found to be similar to the suspected level of violence used, but police have not confirmed this and are waiting for a forensic report to be completed.

…

Security cameras outside Anhanguera Park caught the last moments of the unsuspecting child, who was wearing a pink outfit, crossing a road and walking hand in hand with the accused around 12:30pm.

In his statement, the suspect claimed he was ‘just walking’ with the victim. They were said to be friends who lived on the same street, played together and studied at the same school.

Cops revealed that the schoolboy’s mother took him to the police station on Monday after he confessed to committing the crime in front of relatives.

He apparently gave details of how he killed her and claimed he ‘hit her legs and her face, then tied her up while she was still conscious and continued to beat her’.

Police chief Marturano corroborated this statement, adding: ‘We believe the accused started assaulting Raíssa before reaching the tree. First he hit her and then used a branch. We are still searching for the branch.’

Violence is who they are. It is inexplicable how after hearing and reading about what these brown jungle apes do in their countries, people aren’t rioting and demanding the wall be built.

In a statement to police, Rosevânia, said she took her daughter and her younger son to the party at CEU around 12 noon on Sunday. The place was full of children.

At one point, the mother left Raíssa queuing with the boy for a turn on a trampoline while she went to get popcorn with her son.

When she returned, her daughter had disappeared. A hunt was immediately launched by festival organisers and concerned visitors.

The devastated mum said: ‘Over the last few weeks my daughter had become friends with the boy. We live less than a hundred metres away on the same street.

‘She was very close to me and would hardly leave my side, but in recent days she had grown confident enough to play with the [schoolboy] outside.

‘Last month, because he seemed to be encouraging my child to become more sociable, I took him to a church service with her as a treat.’

The victim’s aunt, Rosmari, said: ‘Raíssa had been attending a support centre for her autism for the past year.

‘She was an introvert and she couldn’t communicate well. It was difficult for her to trust people and she was very withdrawn.

‘But when she felt good she spoke. With the educational intervention her behaviour had begun to improve and she was becoming more trusting and talkative.’

That’s the thing with browns. They may seem friendly, they may even help you out, they may look harmless… but you never know when they’ll go full Apocalypto.

Jungle demons getting into America is an everyday thing. There’s nothing stopping them, and plenty of incentives tempting them.

Once their numbers are high enough…

Okay, this is epic.

RT:

After some verbal combat between Jair Bolsonaro and Emmanuel Macron, Brazil’s tourism ambassador – MMA fighter Renzo Gracie – upped the ante, calling the French leader a “clown” and threatening to choke him. Diplomacy in 2019.

To recap, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro recently earned the scorn of French President Emmanuel Macron for mocking Macron’s 66-year-old wife Brigitte on Facebook. Macron had earlier accused Bolsonaro of reneging on his commitments to the environment, as G7 leaders discussed wildfires burning in the Amazon rainforest.

Bolsonaro’s comments, Macron said, were “extraordinarily rude,” and “sad.”

Though the tiff seemed over, Bolsonaro was still miffed at the G7’s offer of a $22 million “colonial” aid package to fight the fires, which, he pointed out, burn every year in the Amazon and are being handled by Brazilian authorities.

However, Gracie turned things up several notches over the weekend, in a diplomatic exchange that would put the trash talk of any UFC fighter or bare-knuckle boxer to shame.

“The only fire going on is the fire inside Brazilian hearts and our president’s heart, you clown,” Gracie thundered in a Twitter video addressed to Macron, who he oh-so-cleverly rebranded “micron.”“Come over here, you’ll be caught by the neck, that chicken neck. You don’t fool me,” his rant continued.

Bolsonaro turned out to be a kind of boring Zionist shill, even though he said some funny stuff. He also tried to get the US to invade Venezuela as part of an anti-Chinese Jewish global domination scheme.

But mocking Macron’s granny wife was ultra-funny.

What’s up with that, for real?

It’s sick.

And I’ve got a soft spot for the Gracies.

Blaming Bolsonaro for the fires in the Amazon is also just totally insane. The media and people like Emmanuel Macron are literally claiming that Bolsonaro released some kind of “fascist psychic energy” on the forest to set it aflame.

In actual fact, the Amazon is burned every year by slash and burn farmers. That practice is illegal in Brazil. But what are they supposed to do? It’s a lawless third world shithole.

By the way, I just want you to understand this: a granny who swoops in for sex with younger men is known as a “sabertooth.”

We know what “God” that was.

He’s been called “Brazil’s Donald Trump.”

Remember this guy? It’s hard to explain how much of /ourguy/ Jair Bolsonaro is. Anything Trump has done, Bolsonaro has done better. He’s under investigation for all sorts of racism right now. Instead of a “grab them by the pussy” comment, Bolsonaro said in in 2015 that a Brazilian Congresswoman was “not worth raping, too ugly.” He also once said that if he ever had a gay son he’d prefer him to die in an accident. The news channel says the politician is undergoing surgery.

There’s clear video of the stabbing here.

Anyone surprised? Mudmanoid attacking White Herald of Prosperity because muh racism.

It appears his liver is at risk, he lost lots of blood, and who knows what may have coated the weapon used to stab him. The jungle mudmanoid could have used some nasty poison in it or something.

It appears he’ll live though. Flavio Bolsonaro said he was fine in the tweet above.

Surgery stopped his internal bleeding.

Awesome.
Awesome… to the maxx.

The Brazil Police, commonly known as “The Brazil Drug Mafia and Extortion Services,” has released a photograph of a gigantic Swastika on the bottom of someone’s swimming pool. The photo was taken by one of their privacy-invading helicopters, CNN reports.

The helicopter was allegedly assisting in a kidnapping investigation, the victim of which was probably kidnapped by the police themselves, when they spotted the symbol of ultimate evil and decided to take pictures of it and give them to the media for some reason. The property was located in Pomerode, in the southern state of Santa Catarina.

Authorities say they aren’t going to charge the pool owner with anything, because he has committed no crimes.  They just wanted to tell people about it, apparently because they thought it was awesome, or maybe they just did it for lols.  The homeowner has not been identified, but people on the internet suspect he is “a pretty cool guy.”

Police also said that the pool has had a swastika in it for 13 years.  They didn’t say how they new that, but they must check it out regularly.

Well, something good came out of the World Cup – Brazil, not caring for the poor widdle feewings of the crybaby Jews is displaying an original 1934 NSDAP German soccer Jersey as part of an historical display featuring jerseys from past competitions.

AP:

The exhibition includes more than 100 replicas and originals from different nations, dating back to the first World Cup tournament in 1930.

Salvador doctor Duda Sampao, the owner of the collections, said that the exhibition has been endorsed by the local Brazilian World Cup organizing committee, and therefore has the consent of FIFA. World football governing body officials refused to comment, referring the matter to local organizers.

When visitor Rolf Zettel took a closer look of a white football shirt with a silver Nazi-era swastika on it, he couldn’t believe: “Is this a joke or what? Germany 1934, a despicable time.”

The Swiss fan from Fribourg was looking at a replica of a German 1934 World Cup shirt. “Is this OK? No it’s not OK,” Zettel said.

In Germany, displaying swastikas is a punishable offense.

In a display in another glass case in the Salvador mall is a black Mussolini-era Italian shirt with a symbol of the Italian Football Association, bearing the fasces — a cylinder around an ax which was the symbol of Italian Fascism.

Close by is a jersey worn by Israeli players at the 1970 World Cup.

Authorities in Brazil are presently working on a plan to deal with the possibility that Jewish tears could flood the entire country.  They have promised that the schedule will not be interrupted.

Brazil: Nationwide Rioting and Police Strike, World Cup Might Not Even Happen https://www.anglinarchive.com/2014/05/22/brazil-nationwide-rioting-and-police-strike-world-cup-might-not-even-happen/ Thu, 22 May 2014 00:00:00 +0000 CofCC

World Cup 2014 is only weeks away and now Brazil’s own national team is denouncing the government for corruption related to unfinished stadiums.

Brazil pledged to build twelve new stadiums. A move that was heavily criticized by the public. However, at least six of them are unfinished.

In fact, only 36 out of a total of 93 World Cup related projects are actually finished.

Protests over the spending have been going on for months. However, huge violent protests have exploded across Brazil for the past several days.

From Reuters…

When Adilson Ferreira hoped for big crowds during the World Cup, this wasn’t what he had in mind.

Starting last June, protesters angry about the money Brazil is spending to host the soccer tournament have regularly marched outside the small restaurant he manages in downtown Rio de Janeiro. One night, they smashed the windows and even destroyed the espresso machine.

Instead of hiring extra workers during the Cup, as he once planned, Ferreira is now focused on how to limit the damage.

“We need the World Cup to be a success on and off the field so everyone can win from this,” he said.

Expectations that the World Cup might bring a big boost to Brazil’s economy have been replaced by more sober forecasts and fears that street demonstrations and other problems could chase away business and tarnish the country’s image among investors.

President Dilma Rousseff’s government estimates the month-long event, which starts on June 12 in Sao Paulo, could add over half a percentage point of economic growth this year and more than half a million jobs.

Economists are, on average, more conservative. They see a boost closer to 0.2 percentage points, according to a recent Reuters poll.

The economy is expected to grow just 1.6 percent this year, putting pressure on Rousseff as she seeks re-election in October.

“It would be worse if we didn’t have the Cup, but the tournament will not save our economy from a pretty bad year,” said Fabio Bentes, economist with the National Confederation of Commerce, which represents retailers and service companies.

It’s a long way from the euphoria of 2007, when Brazil was awarded the right to host the tournament, which its team has won a record five times.

Back then, politicians said the Cup would showcase Brazil’s long-awaited arrival as a major economic power and provide a good reason to completely transform its dilapidated airports, highways and other transport infrastructure.

However, only about $7 billion of the $11.7 billion in planned investments for the Cup have been executed, according to the Office of the Comptroller General, a shortfall that most analysts blame on poor planning and red tape. Nationwide only 36 of 93 major projects have been finished, says Sinaenco, a trade group of engineers and architects.
