Bitches think it’s a game.

Then shit gets real.

New York Post:

A Bosnian bodybuilder live-streamed the brutal murder of his ex-wife on Instagram Friday — before going on a shooting rampage that ended with his suicide.

Nermin Sulejmanovic, 35, filmed at least three videos documenting the violent spree that left three innocent people dead and three more injured in the northeastern town of Gradacac.

The horror started Friday morning when Sulejmanovic posted a video on Instagram, telling his followers that they would witness a live execution.

He then turns the camera to his ex-wife, whose face is bloodied and disfigured from injuries, local outlet Telegraf reported.

Yeah.

That’s the face you make when “shit just got real.”

“Look, when you’re dealing with a wh–e who reports you to the police,” he tells his viewers in the chilling clip, as a child can be heard crying in the background.

Officials later said some 12,000 people watched the slaying live.

Sulejmanovic then tells his followers that he is the child’s father and that his ex-wife had “hidden” the toddler from him for more than a week, and had reported him to the police for domestic violence.

“Here, watch the murder live now, nice and easy … Are you watching?” Sulejmanovic says to the camera before callously firing a bullet into a woman’s forehead.

He then turns the camera to record the child lying on the floor: “Here, someone come and save the child. Moving on.”

The bodybuilder and fitness instructor then filmed at least two more live videos on the social media app while being pursued by the police, telling his viewers that he killed two others off-camera.

The pair was later identified as a man and his young son.

Sulejmanovic also wounded a police officer, another man and a woman at various locations throughout Gradacac while on the lam.

…

The father also had a criminal record, with past arrests on charges of drug smuggling and attacking a police officer.

According to local media, Sulejmanovic was a member of a drug gang when he was arrested in 2013 for selling marijuana and heroin.

At time of writing, 4chan has links to the video, if anyone wants to see it. I’m not gonna watch it, personally. But maybe I’m just getting old.

For the record, the guy is both on steroids and a Moslem.

I’m not going to blame any man for beating and murdering his wife who was a whore and presumably trying to steal his kids while she was going around having sex with other men. I don’t support it and I don’t endorse murder, but I really do understand why a man would do that.

But killing random people on the street?

Why?

I mean, if you were seriously going to go out in this manner, you would think you would find her boyfriend/boyfriends and get them, rather than random people. But yeah, I mean. Bosniacs.

Whatever.

At the very least, stories like this should be blasted all over the media, like “BITCH BETTER WATCH IT – SOME DUDES OUT THERE AIN’T PLAYING.”

Somehow, the media is focusing on “violence against women,” despite the fact that the bitch clearly deserved it and the guy also killed randos on the street who definitely did not deserve it.

Bosnia: Serbs Vote to Strip Power from Central Institutions https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/12/11/bosnia-serbs-vote-to-strip-power-from-central-institutions/ Sat, 11 Dec 2021 00:00:00 +0000

Guess diversity isn’t a strength in Bosnia either.

Deutsche Welle:

The parliament of the Serb part of Bosnia-Herzegovina decided Friday to transfer powers away from the country’s central institutions.

The approval by the regional legislature of Republika Srpska (RS) comes in spite of warnings against such a move from the international community and an opposition boycott.

What did the Republika Srpska parliament agree?

MPs voted to strip the Bosnian state of competencies in the areas of taxation, justice, and security and defense for the RS region.

The three institutions represent key pillars of joint security, the rule of law and the economic system in Bosnia, which was divided into two autonomous regions after its 1992-1995 war.

The proposal won a clear majority with 49 votes in favor in the 83-seat chamber.

The vote amounted to a non-binding agreement that fell short of a final decision to quit the institutions — a move that would have needed the support of the region’s upper house.

Who is behind the move towards succession?

Milorad Dodik, head of the SNDS party and a Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, was the driving force behind the initiative.

Dodik, a former Western protege turned nationalist, has been threatening for years to separate Republika Srpska from the Bosnian state.

He has long complained about state institutions, saying they were established based on decisions by international peace envoys and were not enshrined in the constitution.

Bosnia-Herzegovina is nothing more than “a paper republic,” Dodik told the Banja Luka parliament on Friday.

He announced that within six months, he would initiate legislation to reorganize the areas for which the central state no longer has jurisdiction.

It is not yet clear whether he will follow through on a promise made in September to create a separate army.

I don’t think any war’s gonna start in Bosnia in the near future, but it will eventually happen.

It’s absurd to think a “country” like this can realistically exist for long.

Anyone who really wanted this to not turn into a bloodbath would figure out some kind of plan for a peaceful partition based on ethnic lines.

But that’s not gonna happen, because diversity is our greatest strength and so on and so forth.

“Freedom” and “man-on-man buttsex” are interchangeable terms, you stupid goyim.

Life Site News:

This weekend saw the first-ever LGBT “pride” parade in Bosnia, and U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Eric Nelson, was among the participants.

“The people of BiH came together to reject fear and hate and instead demonstrated to the world that BiH is indeed an open and tolerant country that respects the rights of all individuals,” the statement declared. “The Pride March is fundamentally about equal human rights for everyone. Everyone in BiH – regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity – is entitled to all the same rights and freedoms. However, the fact remains that vulnerable groups are still suffering. It is everyone’s responsibility to support those who are marginalized and face discrimination and injustice.”

The pro-LGBT Washington Blade reports that organizers estimate the parade saw a turnout of 3,000 people, and that it went off without incident from protestors.

Imagine living in an impoverished artificial state like Bosnia, and then reading something like this.

Dunno about you guys, but I’d be depressed as heck…

The counter-protesters appear to have been mostly Moslem, although that’s because Sarajevo itself is mostly Moslem:

These are your choices, you stupid goyim – submit to an alien ideology invented by a schizophrenic pedophile, or take it up the ass to own the libs ragheads.

Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Nelson has been an American diplomat serving in various capacities since the 1990s, and was nominated to his current post by President Donald Trump last year (the Senate confirmed him via voice vote in January). In 1992, he was a founding member of Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies (GLIFAA), a membership organization dedicated to promoting the interests of LGBT personnel at various federal agencies.

Trump has disappointed so many times, I don’t think this bothers me.

No, wait…

IT DOES!!!

The incident is the latest example of strong pro-LGBT leanings among the U.S. foreign policy establishment, as well as the Trump administration’s mixed record on LGBT issues.

Diplomats have flown rainbow flags at numerous U.S. embassies in recent years, including those of Macedonia, Jamaica, Belize, Israel, and Iraqi Kurdistan. Many other embassies, such as those in Prague and even the Vatican, have promoted homosexual “pride” through a variety of other statements and gestures.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has moved to prohibit individuals with gender dysphoria from military service, protect women from having to share close quarters such as homeless shelters with men claiming to be transgendered, and define sex based on strictly biological criteria, as well as made religious freedom a priority.

At the same time, Trump has also nominated jurists tied to LGBT advocacy groups to federal judgeships, appointed a variety of pro-LGBT officials to government posts, continued Obama-era pro-LGBT policies such as supporting international recognition of homosexuality at the United Nations Human Rights Council, and declared that same-sex “marriage” is “settled law.”

In June, the administration began denying diplomats’ requests to raise the rainbow banners on embassies’ official flagpoles, a reversal of the Obama administration giving embassies full discretion to fly rainbow flags during “Pride Month,” while continuing to allow embassies to celebrate “LGBT pride” in a variety of other ways.

Diplomats at various embassies have taken full advantage of the loophole, draping LGBT flags on the side of their buildings, displaying the flags inside buildings, releasing photos and videos of embassy staff demonstrating for “pride,” and illuminating the U.S. embassy in New Delhi in rainbow lights. One unnamed diplomat speaking to the Washington Post called it a “category one insurrection.”

Remember – all of these problems end when we get rid of the source.

And we all know what the source is.

We’ve always known, we just didn’t deal with the problem permanently for various reasons.

This is totally a real country, you stupid goyim

I see more and more news about Bosnia lately.

It’s not quite a deluge, but it’s building up, and all of it is about how this artificial state’s wondrous diversity is somehow not working properly, and that someone – it’s unclear who exactly – should do something to fix it for some reason.

New York Times:

When a fire breaks out in the Bosnian city of Mostar, Sabit Golos, a veteran firefighter, knows that he does not have to worry unless the flames take hold on the Muslim side of what, from 1992 until 1994, was the front line in a vicious ethnic conflict.

That is because Mostar, though long at peace, has two separate fire brigades, one made up mostly of Muslims like Mr. Golos, who are responsible for putting out fires on the east side of the old front line and a second one staffed by Catholic Croats who douse flames on the other side.

LOL

This is like real life Kusturica movie, probably one with a bad ending.

Bosnia, 20 years from now

The line vanished long ago as a boundary between warring communities and does not officially exist. But it lives on in the mind, an emblem of the ethnonationalist fissures that paralyze Mostar and the whole of Bosnia.

As Europe and the United States struggle with the rise of ethnic nationalism as a divisive force, Bosnia’s divisions offer a dark lesson in how, once cleaved apart by fear and fighting, communities can stay splintered long after many people have forgotten what it was that pushed them apart.

The Yugoslav Wars ended 17 years ago, how short a memory do these people have?

I still remember watching  it on the news when I was 9-10 or so, and my memory would be even more detailed if I were actually there.

The entrenched disunion here was reflected in recent national elections, marked by nationalist rhetoric and open questioning of Bosnia’s continued existence as a state.

Did anybody bother answering any of those questions?

Why?

Nobody’s happy with this situation, so why not try to fix it peacefully before it fixes itself the hard way?

“Europe is worried these days about the rise of the far right, but this place was way ahead of the curve in showing how dangerous and enduring ethno-nationalism can be,” said Tim Clancy, an American resident of Bosnia who worked in Mostar throughout the war helping victims of the fighting.

I think you mean how dangerous the suppression of ethno-nationalism is, because all these problems these people have come from the fact that they’re forced to live with each other instead of each going their own way.

Both of Mostar’s fire brigades are part of the same municipal fire service — just as Mostar’s two garbage collection companies, two hospitals, two electricity companies, two bus stations, two popular nightclubs and two soccer teams all technically serve the same city. But they are in reality barricaded behind the zigzagging line drawn in blood a quarter of a century ago, during Europe’s worst conflict since World War II.

“Everything in this town is very clear. Everyone knows whose territory lies where,” Mr. Golos said, adding that his brigade never gets asked by Mostar’s fire service dispatcher to fight a blaze in an area that was controlled by Croat forces during the war, no matter which of the city’s two fire stations is closer.

So they’re split about everything except the actual country they live in…

“This isn’t gonna end badly at all, trust me goyim, I’m your greatest ally and diversity is your greatest strength.”

“You are looking at your own future here,” said Adnan Huskic, a scholar in politics and international relations at the School of Science and Technology in Sarajevo. “We have been dealing with the rise of nationalist populism for years.”

No, you credentialed cretin, this isn’t the rise of nationalist populism, it’s the reaction to the suppression of nationalism.

Nationalism is a normal, universal thing that has always existed everywhere and will always exist everywhere.

All people want to live in their own country, surrounded by people just like them, it’s a normal instinct that every human being has.

All these conflicts come from not letting people have their own territory, not from anything else.

Instead of creating a unitary state, the 1995 agreement that halted the bloodletting in Bosnia — reached in Dayton, Ohio by the leaders of Bosnia, Serbia and Croatia — only entrenched the nationalist elites that prosecuted the war. It divided Bosnia into two “entities” — a Serb-run Republika Srpska and a mixed Muslim-Croat Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the summit of this ramshackle state stood the presidency, controlled by three elected presidents, one each for Bosnian Serbs, Croats and Muslims, who are known as Bosniaks.

Authority was further subdivided, largely along ethnic lines, with the establishment of 10 local units of government called cantons, each with its own president and set of ministers who duplicate many of the functions of the weak national government.

So these guys were killing each other and only stopped when they achieved some degree of separation, and the best conclusion to draw from this is to… Not separate them?

For more than two decades of staggering from crisis to crisis, Bosnia’s fragile system has defied predictions of imminent collapse. This ability to survive against the odds, however, is now seriously at risk, said Paddy Ashdown, a British politician who from 2002 to 2006 served as Bosnia’s most senior foreign official, its so-called high representative.

“We’ve managed to keep this thing intact for over 2 decades, isn’t that amazing?”

His gloomy prognosis follows national elections held in October that were dominated, particularly in the Republika Srpska, by divisive appeals for tribal loyalty.

The result of the balloting, which selected a hard-line nationalist as the Serb member of Bosnia’s tripartite presidency, has stirred fury among Croats, who complain that the election for their own slot on the presidency was tainted by ethnically impure voting: Many Muslims voted for the Croat winner, a moderate Croat now denounced by hard-liners because of his support across ethnic lines.

Again – how is this better than some form of peaceful secession?

Is anybody even making the argument that things are eventually gonna get better.

“Does this lead to conflict? Probably no. But the international community is sleepwalking into an international disaster of major proportions,” Mr. Ashdown said.

The problem now, he said, is not just that Bosnia is still so divided but that Europe and the United States are themselves so polarized and have diminishing interest in Bosnia’s troubles. The emerging vacuum is being filled by Russia and Turkey, each keen to reassert itself in the Balkans — Russia as a protector of the Serbs and Turkey on behalf of Muslims.

“These times remind me of the 1930s. Everything is falling apart. The center cannot hold,” Mr. Ashdown added.

The US and European countries aren’t “polarized,” they’re just getting the same problems as Bosnia, but on a much larger scale.

And it’s kinda hard to try to solve another country’s diversity problems when you have to deal with your own.

Bosnia is a paradise compared to what most of western Europe will look like in a few decades

Over two decades later, the same parties or successors rooted in the same ethnic allegiances still dominate national and local politics. In Mostar, power is divided between the Croat HDZ and Bosniak SDA, the same parties that reduced the center of the city to a wasteland.

From their point of view, it’s not the “parties that reduced the center of the city to a wasteland,” it’s the “people who defended me when someone else was trying to kill me.”

That never occurs to these idiots, does it?

While friction between communities is rare in daily life, Amna Popovac, an activist in Mostar for Nasa Stranka, a multiethnic party struggling to break down barriers, said nationalist political leaders, all of them men, constantly stoke fear of conflict to rally support and avoid tackling real problems. “Testosterone plays a big role in our politics,” she said.

Ah yes, some 40-something childless feminist skank who runs the “Let’s All be Nice Party” is definitely what’s gonna solve all your problems.

Differences between Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs are so small — they speak the same language, look the same and mostly eat the same food — that some scholars of the 1990s war have turned to Freud and what he called “the narcissism of minor differences” to explain the fury of their rival nationalisms.

The only clear marker is religion, though Catholic Croats, Muslim Bosniaks and Orthodox Serbs are still united by the fact that few worship regularly and nearly all like going to bars and cafes.

How about we skip (((Freud’s))) gibberish and ask a more important question – if people kill each other over such minor differences, why would you not want to let them separate?

We can take this line of thinking further – if people who have so much in common are so quick to kill each other, how is flooding the West with every form of semi-humanity on this planet gonna end in anything other than a massive slaughter?

Also, LOL at the “they all go to bars and cafes” like that’s some kind of argument for anything.

Bosnia’s biggest curse, said Ms. Popovac, the activist in Mostar, is not ethnic or religious enmity but its nationalist political leaders, who fan the fears of the communities they claim to represent to save themselves and a deeply corrupt system that has enriched them.

“Just follow the money,” she said.

“Everybody would just get along if it weren’t for some mean people that I can’t name, but trust me they’re the real cause of everything bad” is an idiotic argument.

Also, the people who have power and money in Bosnia are probably the last ones to want to start a war there, since they have the most to lose.

When the “elites” want to start some trouble for whatever reason, they do it as far away from themselves as possible, that’s why Soros isn’t bringing any rapefugees to his mansion.

What can be done about Bosnia?

I have no idea.

If we lived in a normal world, some peaceful secession/population swaps mediated by outside countries would be the most logical answer.

But somehow, I don’t think that’s gonna happen.

Because why would (((the powers that be))) create yet another example of why diversity doesn’t work?

So basically, they’re just gonna keep at it until eventually the problem is settled by one side killing most (or all) of the other side.

This is basically a real life version of the Battle of Helm’s Deep.

Except only the orcs are fighting.

Voice of Europe:

The Bosnian-Croatian border is under continuous attacks by an armed mob of more than 20,000 migrants, an official tells Austria’s Kronen Zeitung.

The border at Velika-Kladusa is only 224 kilometres from Austria and more than 20,000 migrants hope to break it to move into Central Europe, the expert states.

According to him almost all migrants “are armed” as “almost all have a knife”. “The Croats are really trying to handle this alone. They have also positioned Special Forces at the border,” the expert says.

There are barely any women and children in the group, 95 per cent are men and a border policeman has already been stabbed.

“The majority of them come from Pakistan. And there are many Iranians, Algerians, and Moroccans. Their goal is not Austria,” the official added.

According to him the migrants want to go to Germany or one of the Scandinavian countries.

That’s pretty much how I hope to go out one day, too.

If removing kebab is wrong, then I don’t want to be right.

And neither did Slobodan Praljak.

The hero expressed his righteous indignation at being convicted of “crimes against humanity” merely for defending his people and cleansing his nation of the durka durka hordes. But how can you commit a crime against “humanity” for something you did to Moslems?

Will your mom also be tried at the Hague court for spraying her apartment against termites?

Grime again hubanidy :DDDDDD

Reuters:

A former Bosnian Croat military commander swallowed what he said was poison in a U.N. war crimes courtroom on Wednesday and died shortly after losing an appeal against his 20-year prison term.

Slobodan Praljak’s apparent courtroom suicide, which was broadcast on a video feed, came in the final minutes of the last judgment at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, which closes next month after 24 years.

The white-bearded Praljak, 72, was taken to hospital after drinking from a flask or glass as an ICTY judge read out appeals rulings against him and five other convicted Bosnian Croat war criminals, tribunal spokesman Nenad Golcevski said.

I just drank poison,” the ex-general told the stunned court. “I am not a war criminal. I oppose this conviction.” After gulping down the drink, he sat back down and slumped in his chair, said a lawyer who was in the courtroom at the time.

“Praljak drank a liquid in court and quickly fell ill,” Golcevski said. He was treated by tribunal medical staff, but “passed away today at the HMC hospital in The Hague”, he said.

History repeats itself. When will humanity ever learn?

Many of our great heroes go out in the same way – their greatness unrecognized by society.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, whose country was the patron of separatist Croat forces in Bosnia’s 1992-95 war, said he regretted Praljak’s death and offered condolences to his family. “His act tells the most about deep ethical injustice toward the six Bosnian Croats and the Croatian people.”

The ICTY upheld on appeal Praljak’s conviction on charges of crimes against humanity over persecution, murders and expulsions of Bosnian Muslims from territory captured by nationalist Bosnian Croats and the brutal imprisonment of 1,000 Muslims.

In other words, he did nothing wrong.

The whole concept of “war crimes” was always a nonsensical hoax perpetrated in order to justify going after people the Jews hate. Any military action going against the Jew’s interests is a “war crime,” meanwhile anything the Jews do or benefit from is “justifiable” use of force.

If anything, removing Moslems from Europe is a boon to humanity; after all, a prosperous, safe and free Europe will do more for this planet than anything Moslems have ever done.

Rest in peace, Praljak.

Hail!

May your spirit live on in Valhalla.

Shocking no one could have predicted Moslems would kill someone.
Shocking because no one could have predicted Moslems would kill someone.

The Daily Stormer catchphrase of “sympathy for the sluts” doesn’t apply as soon as the sluts join ISIS.

Then you shall get no more sympathy from us.

We’ll all just be like “bitch prolly shoulda thought that one through a bit better.”

Fox News:

One of two Austrian teenagers dubbed “poster girls” for ISIS was beaten to death after she was caught trying to escape the terror group’s de facto capital in Syria, according to published reports.

Two Austrian newspapers reported Tuesday that Samra Kesinovic, 18, was murdered. One of the newspaper reports cited a Tunisian woman who lived with Kesinovic and her friend, Sabina Selimovic, before managing to escape.

The Austrian government declined to comment on the reports, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Thomas Schnoll saying, “We cannot comment on individual cases.”

Kesinovic and Selimovic have now both been reported killed since they left their home city of Vienna to join ISIS in April 2014. Late last year, David Scharia, an expert on the U.N. Security Council’s counterterrorism committee, said he had been told that one of the girls was killed during fighting in Syria, while the other had disappeared.

The Osterreich tabloid reported that Selimovic was killed in December of last year.

At the time of their disappearance, they left a note for their families saying “Don’t look for us. We will serve Allah and we will die for him.” The Daily Telegraph reported that Kesinovic confirmed in a phone call to her sister that she had joined up with the terror group.

Ah well.

I don’t even know if this story is true.

And hey – so much for that whole “Islam isn’t a problem it’s a race issue” theory, huh?

These girls were definitely White Europeans.

Like something out of a horror movie...
Like something out of a horror movie…

So, ISIS apparently has a base in Bosnia now, where they are training for attacks on European targets.

Why not do a strike on this, Cameron or Obama?

Here it is, guys. Journalists from the Mirror found it, when it apparently was eluding you.
Here it is, guys. Journalists from the Mirror found it, when it apparently was eluding you.

This is an actual threat to us, unlike some monkey nonsense in the Arabian desert.

It is almost as if the more threatening a target is, the less likely it is to be targeted.

Breitbart:

Right in the heart of Europe lies a small village where the black flag of Islamic State (IS) flies proudly. Recent reports suggest Jihadis are buying up land and training there, sparking fears it could provide a base to launch attacks across the continent.

The small Bosnia settlement has been a stronghold of Wahhabist extremism since the 1990s, and residents have already been charged with terror attacks and recruiting for IS.

Nestled on a strategically situated hill and surround by dense forest in the mountainous north-east of Bosnia and Herzegovina, sits the village of Gornja Maoča. It is gaining a reputation as an extremist stronghold and a perfect stop off between the West and IS, in a nation that is 45 per cent Muslim and hosting the only Muslim majority capital city on the continent, Sarajevo.

The country was converted to Islam by Ottomans hordes, but radical Islam was negligible before the 1992-5 Balkans conflict. During and after the war, however, Saudi money and influence began to flow freely into the nation.

…

After the war, Gornja Maoča was resettled by radical Wahhabists and has been a cause of concern for the authorities every since. Many police raids in search of guns and evidence of terrorist activity followed, including one involving 600 officers in 2010. Another was completed just five months ago.

Little or nothing was found at first and villagers and rights groups repeatedly accused the authorities of harassment. Then, in October 2011, a young man from the village attacked the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo with a machine gun attack

Already, 330 Bosnians, mainly from rural areas, are thought to have joined IS in Syria, according to the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation at King’s College. The first reports of the black flag of IS flying over the village emerged at the beginning of the year. On February 11th, it was reported that four men from the surrounding area had been arrested, and one charged, suspected of recruiting fighters for IS in Syria and Iraq.

A number of high-profile IS members are said to be buying up land and properties in the area, and at least 12 jihadis trained in near-by Osve have travelled to Syria in recent months. Five are reported to have been killed.

Ismar Hadrović, a Salafist who led an attack on Sarajevo’s Queer Festival in 2008, has bought property there, Federalna Televizija reports. Wahhabi preacher Harun Mehicevic, considered one of Australia’s most dangerous men, who moved to Melbourne to escape the Balkan war, also owns land in Gornja Maoca, The Age of Melbourne reports.

It almost makes me wonder if we shouldn’t have armed Serbia to remove kebab, instead of arming kebab to remove Serbia.

Serbia is more than willing to deal with the kebab problem
Serbia is more than willing to deal with the kebab problem

This is not even a top story. The Mirror released the information 3 days ago. No one is covering it but right wing (and Shiite Islamic) sites, and no one but the Daily Stormer is calling for Obama and Cameron to do a missile strike on it.

Why?

never_forget_srebrenica_by_nerco

Reconciliation is a two-way street but the Bosnian Muslims don’t seem to agree — they nearly tore the Serbian prime minister apart at the weekend when he attempted to pay his respects to those killed in Srebrenica in the civil war.

But there is always an upside, and the Srebernica massacre is paying dividends for Europe’s ruling elites two decades later. For in the cultural war, new ways of demonising Whites have to be continually rolled out.

Hence the gathering at Westminster Abbey last week when the British people were reminded that they too had to shoulder the burden of culpability for the massacre of Muslims in the Balkans in 1995.  Former government minister Paddy Ashdown said from the lectern “We could have prevented this horror. We chose not to.”

Who does he mean by “we”? That brutal Bosnian civil war was not short of atrocities on both sides. And what has that got to do with ordinary British people?

One reason is that British Muslims need to have a “holocaust” of their own, and this one fits the bill perfectly. Despite the unlikelihood of most British/ Pakistani Muslims being able to find Bosnia on a map, it will help them burnish their victimhood credentials.

Of course there are no shortage of massacres of Muslims in the world but they are usually carried out by other Muslims or Israelis and therefore not fit for purpose. This one was carried out by Whites and is much more useful.

To ram this message home, live BBC programmes have been broadcasting local commemorative events across Britain with special emphasis on towns with large Islamic populations such as Oldham, Burnley, Blackburn Northampton and Rochdale which, curiously enough, are also among the towns plagued by the worst cases of Muslim child sex abuse rings.

With a Downing Street reception, Royal visit, church services in the Scottish and Welsh capitals, nobody could accuse the government of not doing enough to mark the occasion. Celebrity supporters include prominent Speaker of House of Commons John Bercow, and actor Simon Callow. Baroness Doreen Lawrence, mother of the martyred Stephen, lent her name.  Even Angelina Jolie was been roped in.

It is also a big payday for the booming international genocide industry with conferences at the University of London and in Washington at  the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

In London the Wiener Library for the Study of Genocide and Holocaust will be the venue for the “multi-faith” launch of new charity, Remembering Srebrenica which will be spending £1 million of taxpayers money sending hundreds of British kids to Bosnia every year to remember the occasion. The charity is off to a good start with the BBC devoting a prime time television documentary to its activities.

For Dr Alexander Korb, director of the University of Leicester’s Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Srebrenica had a special resonance.  “What seems to be like a distant shadow of the horrors of the Holocaust, happened just 20 years ago on our doorstep, in the middle of Europe, during the Bosnian wars.

Even while the Bosnian war was going on there were those who were not slow to see the strategic advantage. Zbigniew Brzezinski  used it  to invoke the holocaust and said never again. In the Guardian, David Aaronovich used Srebrenica to justify the war on Iraq.

French media intellectual Bernard-Henri Levy has milked it for all its worth, comparing it to the Warsaw Ghetto. He used it as a media platform to blame France for what happened and says that the sooner Bosnia is integrated into the European Union the better. He even got a play out of it.

Prominent Jewish Holocaust survivors have beaten a path to Bosnia. They include  the Academy Award winning producer of the Steven Spielberg film “Schindler’s List” and a Judge at the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia.

Much effort has gone into shackling the two “holocausts” together. Groups such as the American Jewish Committee and Jewish Council for Public Affairs have led the pursuit of alleged (Serbian) war criminals. Bosnia is one of the few places that host Jewish-Muslim multi faith conferences.

It has all been helpfully spelled out in the Jewish Chronicle  by prominent neocon and leader writer for The Times  Oliver Kamm.  In a 2012 article he wrote:

Jews have a particular interest in helping to ensure that the human costs of what followed are accurately recounted. The facts of the genocidal assault on Bosnia’s Muslims are so horrific that a cottage industry of denial has since grown up. You will find websites claiming that the number of victims of the Srebrenica massacre has been exaggerated, and that those who died were killed in combat. This material is not just the equivalent of Holocaust denial, but the same fraudulent argument. It should be recognised and named for what it is: genocide denial.

Kamm expanded on this theme this week in another article titled “Unmasking the deniers.” Apparently these ‘deniers’ are keen to defend the reputation of Serbia as a Slav champion against Western aggression:

Jewish campaigners immediately recognised in 1992 what was happening in the former Yugoslavia and appealed to the conscience of the world. Bosnia was no intractable civil war: it was a campaign of genocidal aggression launched by the Serb leader, Slobodan Milosevic. Elie Wiesel interrupted his own speech at the opening of the Holocaust Museum in Washington to implore President Clinton to protect Bosnian civilians.

Quite apart from the questionable wisdom of citing Elie Wiesel in support of any issue where truth is concerned, it does alert us to another agenda operating here; the cynical determination to use the Bosnian war to serve the promotion of the Holocaust.

Intriguingly,  Kamm takes aim at the small band of left-wing Jews who have criticised the West’s bombings in the former Yugoslavia. He specifically singles out Noam Chomsky and Edward Herman — perhaps his way of disguising his own determinedly ethnic agenda.

Another dissenting journalist on Bosnia who has been targeted by neocons is  a left-wing non-Jewish journalist called Mick Hume. Hume’s claims that the Srebenica is being abused for a Western agenda make interesting reading.  Naturally, he is hobbled by having to pretend he is blind to the Jewish agenda at work, but his arguments still have power.

There is no doubt that Bosnian Muslims were murdered at Srebrenica. But as has been argued before on spiked, everything from the numbers involved to the circumstances of their deaths is far more open to question than the standard version of the parable might suggest (see “How did Srebrenica become a morality tale?,” by Tara McCormack). Taking these events out of their historical and political context and trying to link them to Auschwitz is about creating a morality play of good and evil rather than understanding what happened — and why.

What is a war crime? The legitimacy of the legal term ‘war crime’ is something that the war-crimes tribunal at The Hague has taken for granted, since to do otherwise would be to call its own rationale into question. Yet it is a highly questionable notion, suggesting as it does that there is a ‘good’ and ‘bad’ way to wage a war — and that the West plays by the rules. But war is not cricket. It is a violent struggle for power or survival in which there are no holds barred. To single out some acts of war as crimes makes no more sense than to suggest that other acts of war are harmless pastimes.

The idea of a war crime, dating from the trials of Nazi and Japanese leaders at the end of the Second World War, is essentially a political device used to draw a line between the wartime activities of the West and the rest. Even in the trials of the 1940s, this involved glossing over the way that the British and Americans had also bombed civilians and butchered their enemies. In the 1990s, it involved setting up the Serbs as the new Nazis, to boost the moral authority of the West and justify intervention.

Warming to his theme, Hume wonders why these critics do not question why Clinton or Blair should not be tried for their 1999 illegal war over Kosovo. He also questions the legitimacy of the international court whose appointment and legal status is far from clear.

This has nothing to do with justice or fairness, despite all the courtroom trappings. These courts are not appointed by or accountable to the peoples whose conflicts they rule on and whose fate they help to decide…

The Nazification of the Serbs was to be a self-serving means to those ends; if they were little Nazis, then ‘we’ must be little Churchills.

The Tara McCormack article referred to by Hume contextualizes the war as brutal on both sides, noting, e.g., that “On the Bosnian Muslim side, the area had been under the command of former bodyguard to Slobodan Milosevic, Nasir Oric. Even by the standards of that bitter war, Oric conducted a brutal campaign against Serbian villages in the area. Two journalists reported that they had seen Bosnian Muslim military action that included beheadings.”

There is no doubt that some of the Bosnian Muslim prisoners of war were executed in cold blood.

That murders occurred, however, does not prove genocide. The extent of the massacres has not been fully established; the figure of 8,000 murdered is not proven but an estimate made up from various lists of missing people. To date, the ICTY has identified 2,032 bodies from the 5,000 exhumed (15). While some bodies bear signs of having been killed rather than shot in battle, wounds on many bodies are consistent with battle deaths. Moreover, given that the area had been the scene of heavy fighting since 1992, it is to be expected that there were substantial casualties on both sides, and that many would have been buried in graves where they fell.

But the neocons have not had it all their own way. It was the first UN peacekeeper general in Bosnia who first expressed “serious doubts” about the Srebrenica narrative. Lewis Mackenzie drew attention to the fact that only 2,000 bodies had been recovered and that there is no mention of Bosnian Muslim commander Naser Oric.

Oric was said to have led attacks against the surrounding Serb villages that took many civilian lives.  Although released by the International Criminal Court he has now been held again on a fresh war crimes warrant.

And the Guardian this week reported a growing “spirit of denial” was deepening in the Balkans.

The Bosnian Serb leader, Milorad Dodik, has become increasingly assertive in questioning the fact of the Srebrenica killings. Last month he called it “the biggest sham of the 20th century” and he has been supported by nationalists in Serbia and by Moscow, which is currently blocking a UK-sponsored UN security council resolution officially declaring the killings a genocide.

Another dissident journalist is Brendan O Neill who prefers to think that generals like Radko Mladic were a “substitute Hitler” for a bored political class.  However, he is determined to ignore an ethnic agenda.

He got halfway there three years ago when he wrote:

The trial of Mladic has nothing to do with “justice for Bosnia”. It is better understood as a cut-price Nuremberg for modern moral crusaders who, lacking a Hess or a Goering, will make do with a Mladic instead. Mladic is a substitute Nazi for self-styled reincarnations of Churchill, those middle-aged bores of the liberal international media who fancy that their brave reporting from Bosnia in the mid-1990s helped to expose that Nazism was alive and well and living in the DNA of every Serb man. No mention of Mladic is complete without the deployment of Holocaust-echoing terminology, whether we’re being reminded that he is responsible for “the worst crimes in Europe since the Nazi Holocaust”, or that he is the “architect of genocide”, or that he was hellbent on cleansing, exterminating, wiping out, and so on.

What is interesting here is the use of guilt.  We are morally obliged to get involved. Not to do so would be the inaction of wicked, morally compromised people. As often reiterated on TOO, appeals to the moral conscience of White people are extraordinarily effective.

So in conclusion, Srebrenica is useful for our hostile elites for three quite different reasons:

1. Srebrenica is used to reinforce the moral touchstone of Nazis murdering Jews in World War II—the ultimate holocaust. To be effective, propaganda must be constantly repeated. Srebrenica thus offers a golden opportunity to once again put the Jewish holocaust in the forefront of public consciousness and to promote the idea of Jews as the ultimate victims (after all, 8000 pales in comparison to 6,000,000).

2. Srebrenica is used to promote the ideal of a multicultural Europe that includes Muslims. Europe must do all it can to protect Muslim communities within its borders. The most revealing quote about the Balkans conflict came from General Wesley Clark, Supreme Allied Commander Europe, from 1997 to 2000. “In the modern Europe there is no room for homogenous nation states. It was an idea from the 1800s and we are going to carry [multiculturalism] through…and we are going to create multi-ethnic states.” It is highly unlikely that there would be accusations of genocide if the victims in Srebrenica were Christians.

3. Srebrenica is useful for rationalizing Western intervention in civil wars around the world. This ideology of making the world safe for democracy and human rights is tailor-made for neocons bent on intervening in wars against governments they don’t like—always exempting Israel with its horrific record of violence and oppression of the  Palestinians. McCormack:

From Kosovo in 1999 to the Congo in 2005, Srebrenica is held up as conclusive proof that the West is morally obliged to intervene militarily in conflict situations. Jack Straw argued in defence of Western intervention in Macedonia in 2001, on the basis that Srebrenica showed what happened when the West was reluctant to intervene (27). Liberal commentator David Aaronovitch used the same argument to explain his support for military action in Iraq (28). When discussing the killing of 60 Congolese soldiers by UN troops, UN General Patrick Cammaert argued in favour of robust military intervention, because of ‘the lessons of Srebrenica, Somalia and Rwanda’ (29).

There is no evidence to suggest that Srebrenica represents proof of a planned campaign of genocide. Rather, the murders there should be understood in the context of a complicated civil war, which occurred as three groups fought to gain control of parts of Bosnia. The abstraction of the event from the context of a bitter and brutal war is representative of the simplification of the entire Yugoslav conflict.

Still this is unlikely to bother such statesman as the British Prime Minister who, a PR consultant at his fingertips, is unlikely to see beyond the admiring headlines it will earn him. In his statement Cameron said he was working towards a “tolerant and inclusive” Bosnia and Herzegovina as a “tribute to Srebrenica’s memory.” The nearly-lynched Serbian prime minister would no doubt have some interesting things to say on how that is going.

There is very scant evidence that the alleged “Srebrenica massacre” ever even happened, and yet the Serbian government sees fit to apologize for it by traveling to Bosnia for the anniversary of the alleged happening.

What do the Moslems do?

TVNZ:

A crowd of furious Bosnian Muslims jumped fences and attacked Serbia’s prime minister with stones and water bottles overnight, marring the 20th anniversary commemorations of the Srebrenica massacre.

Aleksandar Vucic, a former ultranationalist during the Balkan wars but who is now a moderate with a pro-Western stance, escaped serious injury. He said he was hit in the face with a rock as the crowds chanted “Kill, Kill” and “Allahu akbar,” the Arabic phrase for “God is great.”

The scenes overshadowed what was supposed to be a day of reflection and remembrance for the 8,000 Muslim men and boys slaughtered at the hands of Serb forces in the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica. Two U.N. courts ruled that the killings constituted genocide.

Further proof that you should never apologize for anything, never admit to wrong-doing under any circumstance.

To be clear:

On a personal level, apologizing and admitting faults may have some purpose (possibly) – on the collective national or political level it never does anything good. Especially not when Moslems are involved.
