The Ramsey County medical examiner has confirmed that the body investigators recovered in Woodbury on Thursday is 29-year-old William Charles Albrecht of Minneapolis.

Albrecht was last seen at a Bloomington residence a week ago, according to the Bloomington Police Department. On Thursday afternoon, the investigation led police to an outdoor location near the Woodbury Costco store southwest of the junction of Interstates 94 and 494.

The case had originally been a search for a missing person. Friends circulated fliers online saying Albrecht was last seen getting into a cab in Bloomington. His phone had been turned off and he did not show up for work.

On Tuesday, when police searched the Bloomington residence where Albrecht was last seen on Nov. 15, evidence was recovered that prompted a homicide investigation.

Three Bloomington residents were subsequently arrested in the case: 31-year-old Isabelle Carrie Braveheart, 26-year-old Skylar Edmond Labarge and 32-year-old Preston Scott Sharlow.

This is certainly good news.

But he was very, very lucky… unlike many other white children who have been attacked by Democrats in the past.

The 5-year-old boy thrown off a third-floor balcony at the Mall of America in Minnesota has improved so much he’s walking “perfectly” and attending school, according to a post on his family-run GoFundMe account.

“He loves being back to school and going to kindergarten at the same school his twin brother and sister go to,” the family wrote Friday. “He gets out of the car every morning happy and blows kisses all the way in! He’s a strong, happy boy. When his mommy asks him if she can look at his wound or asks how he’s doing, he always responds with ‘Mom, I’m healed, you don’t need to ask me anymore.’”

The boy, identified only as Landen, came home from the hospital in August with a limp, uneven legs from a broken femur, and an open wound on the belly, the family wrote. Since then, he’s gone through extensive physical therapy.

“He is now walking PERFECTLY with even legs AMEN,” the family wrote. “The wound has finally scabbed over and new skin is growing, and we are still optimistic he will be off some of his medications soon.”

The man who threw the boy was Emmanuel Aranda, 24, of Minneapolis. Aranda pleaded guilty in May to attempted premeditated first-degree murder. A judge sentenced him to 19 years in prison in June.

According to a criminal complaint, the boy and his mother were on the third-floor balcony at the mall April 12 when Aranda came up close to them. The mother had never seen Aranda before, and she asked if she and her son should move. Instead, Aranda picked up the boy and threw him over the railing, the complaint stated.

Aranda told police he had come to the mall a day earlier intending to kill an adult, but that did not “work out,” according to the complaint. He returned and apparently chose the boy instead.

We’re still trying to figure out what his motive was.

I remember right after this happened, because it was in Minnesota, all of the boomers were claiming it was a Moslem (Somalian).

Because that’s an easy answer.

No one wants to talk about the reality that American Democrats commit all of these brutal crimes, simply because of their twisted socialist ideology.

Socialism killed over 900 billion people in the 20th century. It’s time we stood up against it.

A man has been charged after police allege he critically injured a child at the Mall of America on Friday.

Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda, 24, has been charged with attempted homicide in relation to the incident, according to police in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Police were called to the Mall of America about 10:17 a.m. local time after a child fell from the third floor. Witnesses told police that the child might have been pushed or thrown, according to Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts. Witnesses also reported seeing someone later identified as Aranda running from the scene.

A witness said a woman screamed that her child was thrown from the balcony.

Brian Johnson told WCCO-TV the woman was screaming, “Everybody pray, everybody pray. Oh my God, my baby, someone threw him over the edge.”

Police don’t have an idea about possible motive, Potts said.

“At this time, we do not believe that there is a relationship between the suspect and the child or the family of the child,” Potts said, emphasizing that police believe this to be an “isolated incident.”

Mallgoers and emergency responders administered first aid to the 5-year-old child, who was then taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

No details were immediately available about the child’s condition, but police said the family is with the child at the hospital.

Aranda, who police said is “from the metro area,” was later located and arrested elsewhere in the mall, police said. He remains in custody at the Bloomington Police Department.

One person is dead and a second person is injured following a Thursday evening shooting in Bloomington.

According to the Bloomington Police Department, officers were called to an apartment complex in the 2000 block of North Walnut Street for reports of shots fired at approximately 9:15 p.m.

After arriving on scene, officers located two victims inside an apartment. One person, 21-year-old Skylar Maupin, police say, was shot several times in the upper torso. The other victim had been shot in the shoulder.

Both were taken to IU Health Bloomington for treatment for their injuries. However, Maupin later died at the hospital, according to police.

Police believe the suspects traveled to Bloomington in order to purchase marijuana but instead robbed the victims. It was at that point a physical altercation occured, with one of the suspects firing multiple shots in the apartment as they both ran outside, according to police.

Police then say the other suspect began firing shots into the front window of the apartment.

Those suspects, who have been identified as Jamarius Turnage and Cleodis Collins, have been transported to the Monroe County Jail.

Somebody is not happy with the Somali Islamic enclave that has settled in Minnesota.

Minnesota has become infested with Somalis. Many of these Somalis also practice Islam.

A blast caused by what the FBI called “a destructive device” rocked a busy Bloomington Islamic center at dawn Saturday, just as a small group of worshipers had gathered for the day’s first prayers.

No one was hurt in the explosion, which heavily damaged an imam’s office at the Dar Al Farooq Center and sent smoke wafting through the large building. Windows in the office were shattered, either by the blast or possibly by an object thrown through them.

The blast was reported at 5:05 a.m., a time when 15 to 20 people are usually gathered at the center for morning prayers, and awoke many residents of the neighborhood. Congregants and neighbors expressed relief that no one was hurt, but also reacted with shock and fear.

While we don’t know who did this (it could have been another Somali, trying to gain sympathy, and frequently Moslem sects attack one another over minor ideological differences), it’s a bit surprising that this type of thing doesn’t happen more often. There’s a great deal of anger over the immigration policies of the past 50 years that has allowed the emergence of these third world enclaves. It is a primary reason why Donald Trump was elected President.

But what do these Somali Moslems contribute to our culture exactly? What is the benefit to having them here?

There are no logical answers to these questions. We are just told that it is sad if we don’t allow them to live in our country.

A Bloomington man will be arraigned Aug. 28 on attempted first-degree and aggravated assault charges, stemming from what authorities say were random attacks on three people Wednesday afternoon in downtown Bloomington.

Formal charges were leveled Thursday against Jason Hopkins, 35, of the 800 block of West Washington Street, who appeared at a bond hearing in McLean County Circuit Court via a video link with the jail.

Bond was set at $1 million, meaning he must post $100,025 to be released. He is being represented by the Public Defender’s Office.

Sitting on a bench in the jail, Hopkins was handcuffed behind his back — an unusual measure, but taken because of concerns that he might become violent. When asked if he could pay the $100,000 bond, Hopkins “whether or not I can, I won’t say” and began a long rambling statement about the incident that was halted by Associate Judge Pablo Eves.

The attempted murder charges accuse Hopkins of stabbing a man with a knife. The victim is a Pantagraph employee who was working outside the building about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of West Jefferson Street. He remains hospitalized with two stab wounds.

Another man was allegedly stabbed by Hopkins prior to that attack. He was a tourist from Germany and was struck and then stabbed in the knee as he stood near the McLean County Museum of History, according to the charges. He was treated and released from a local hospital.

“It was a terrible shock to be stabbed, but he is quite lucid, and we’ve had some good conversations,” museum Executive Director Greg Koos said Thursday.

The museum is paying for the tourist’s food and lodging costs while he spends a couple more days recuperating at an area hotel.

A Bloomington woman who pleaded guilty in January to concealing a homicide and mutilating a human body was sentenced Tuesday to 18 years in prison.

Vishawn Mills, 25, was accused of covering up the August 2013 death of Oakley Mitchell, an elderly Secor man whose remains were found at his home and under a bridge just south of Kappa on U.S. 251.  Murder charges were dismissed against her as part of the plea deal.

Mills’ boyfriend, Rayshawn Johnson, is serving 50 years for murder.

In handing down the 14 years for mutilation and four years for concealing the death, Associate Judge Michael Stroh said some parts of Mills’ story that she feared for her life if she contacted police were not believable.

Citing at least six times when Mills could have disclosed the murder, Stroh told Mills his decision centered one issue: “Did you come forward because of guilt or fear of being caught?”

Mills’ admission that she paid for manicures for her two young daughters with money she took from Mitchell’s bank account after his death also failed to impress the judge.

In her testimony Tuesday, Mills explained how the 74-year-old man she met at a bingo game was murdered. The two exchanged phone numbers and she moved into his home after he offered to help her while she went to nursing school, she said.

But an ongoing discord between Oakley and Johnson erupted on Aug. 1, 2013, she said, over Oakley’s insistence that Johnson sleep in a shed outside the house.
