Contact Tracers are going to be literal Blade Runners.

This is actually awesome and I’m thinking about signing up to work for the Jews as a neo-noir cyberpunk bounty hunter that entraps and murders people who are alleged to be infected with a harmless flu virus in-between my sessions of brooding darkly in my soul-crushing and dehumanizing multicultural hellscape.

It’s gonna be lit.

The Hill:

Officials in New York’s Rockland County said Wednesday they are being forced to issue subpoenas to compel people to speak to contact tracers about a coronavirus outbreak because they are not speaking voluntarily.

The country’s health commissioner, Patricia Rupert, said at a news conference that subpoenas are being issued to eight people who were infected at a recent party in Clarkstown, N.Y., north of New York City, but who are refusing to cooperate with contact tracers seeking to interview them to determine who else they were in contact with and could be at risk of spreading the virus.

The drastic step of issuing subpoenas in a contact-tracing investigation illustrates a problem officials have cited around the country, that many people are not answering their phones or cooperating when contact tracers try to talk to them.

Public health officials say contact tracing is a key step in slowing the spread of the coronavirus. The process interviews infected people about who they have been in contact with so that those people can be notified and asked to quarantine for 14 days to prevent further spread of the virus.

Rupert said the host of the party in question was symptomatic with coronavirus but held the party anyway. At least eight people have been infected and officials are trying to figure out if more were exposed.

“We are not receiving the necessary cooperation when we contact those who are positive for COVID-19 or those who had been at some of these gatherings,” Rupert said. “My staff has been told that a person does not wish to or have to speak to my disease investigators. They hang up, they deny being at the party, even though we have found their name from another party attendee, or a parent provides us with the information.”

“Many do not answer their cell phones and do not call back,” she added. “Sometimes parents answer for their adult children and promise that they have been home consistently, when they have not been. This must stop.”

The frustrations have now led to subpoenas, she said.

Yeah, because we’re going to do successful contact tracing when over 20 million people have come in contact with the virus.

Sure.

Makes total sense.

Daily White Pill: 1996 Blade Runner Game Restored and Easily Playable https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/10/17/daily-white-pill-1996-bladerunner-game-restored-and-easily-playable/ Thu, 17 Oct 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

I am a big adventure game fan, but I actually never played through the 1996 Blade Runner.

I’m excited to try it out and see if I can make it through without hints.

eurogamer:

Westwood Studio’s classic Blade Runner point-and-click adventure can finally be enjoyed once more with ease on PC, thanks to the diligent work of the ScummVM development community.

But first, a quick history lesson! Blade Runner originally released back in 1997, with Westwood (the sadly-now-defunct developer behind the likes of Command & Conquer and Dune 2) foregoing the usual easy cash-in route ordinarily associated with movie tie-ins for an experience both wildly ambitious and legitimately groundbreaking.

Although borne of the familiar point-and-click template, players, in the role of Blade Runner Ray McCoy, embarked on an investigation-based, and largely randomised adventure. Faced with the goal of hunting down replicants, the game would randomly decide exactly which characters were artificial creations at the start, subtly changing their behaviour as the story unfolded.

Throw in NPCs that didn’t follow a scripted route through the story – instead moving around in relative real-time based on their assigned objectives – branching narrative pathways, and a multitude of different possible endings, and Blade Runner was an experience that didn’t just capture the neon-streaked dystopian atmosphere of the movie with absolute precision, but which made its world feel positively alive.

Unsurprisingly, Blade Runner was hailed as a classic (and you can read more praise in Eurogamer’s retrospective from 2017), but, unfortunately, the passing of time and the march of technology has made the game increasingly difficult to experience without concerted technical jiggery-pokery – a situation exacerbated by the fact that re-releases and remasters have been made impossible, given the original source code was lost during a studio move.

Enter the team of adventure game fans responsible for ScummVM, a piece of software originally designed to make it possible to play classic LucasArts games like Monkey Island 2 on modern systems, before publishers realised there was a lot of money to be made in remasters. Over the years, ScummVM has expanded to support other titles and engines, including those by Revolution Software (Beneath a Steel Sky, Broken Sword) and the Discworld games.

It apparently took eight years (thanks Wikipedia) to reverse engineer the Blade Runner engine and to include it as part of ScummVM, and another three until it was ready for public testing, which began this June. As of last Friday, however, as spotted by Rock Paper Shotgun, Blade Runner is now officially supported and playable on ScummVM, which you can download here.

The ScummVM team is doing God’s work.

I remember that terrible period when I couldn’t play Monkey Island or Full Throttle on my modern PC. That was before ScummVM showed up and made all my dreams come true.

The US government should be funding them instead of child trannies and anal sex for Africans.

You know what was really underrated though?

The Dig.

Some famous gamer should really start doing streams of all of these classic games.

Blade Runner Actor Rutger Hauer Passes Away at 75 https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/07/25/blade-runner-actor-rutger-hauer-passes-away-at-75/ Thu, 25 Jul 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Roy Batty

I expect that it’s hard for younger readers to appreciate the effect that Blade Runner had on cinema and sci-fi when it came out. It feels like a page has been turned and something definitive but hard to define just came to an end.

BBC:

Actor Rutger Hauer, who starred in 1982’s Blade Runner, has died at the age of 75.

The star died in the Netherlands on Friday after a short illness, his agent confirmed.

Hauer played the murderous replicant Roy Batty in Blade Runner, which was directed by Ridley Scott and also starred Harrison Ford.

The actor’s funeral was held on Wednesday.

Hauer’s character gives a famous speech during a face-off with Ford at the end of Blade Runner, dialogue which he helped write himself.

“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe,” he is seen telling Ford. “Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.”

Hauer is quoted as telling an interviewer his character – who had only a four-year lifespan – wanted to “make his mark on existence”.

“The replicant in the final scene, by dying,” he said, “shows Deckard [Ford’s character] what a real man is made of.”

The scene (if you haven’t seen it yet you should watch the movie) in question:

You know, there used to be such optimism and hope about the future.

It all ended when Blade Runner came out. And then other films like Terminator picked up where it left off – depicting a future that wasn’t so sunshiney and bright. A future that is actually, ironically, brighter than the one we are currently staring down right now. But I’ve written about Cyberpunk before, and we’ll have time to come back to the topic in the near future.

This about Rutger Hauer – the actor – and the important work that he did while he was alive. It must seem strange for a right-winger to care about his passing considering that he was a bit of a shitlib in real life. But this matters far less than you would think in the grand scheme of things that have not yet come to pass.

Because legacy and memory belong in the realm of the living and that means how the living remembers the dead is what really matters. Rutger’s memories and dreams are gone… like tears… in the rain…

But Rutger will live on through Roy.

And Roy takes on a life of his own based on how the living interpret his spirit and will. To me, Roy will always be the Aryan Ubermensch from the stars who came down to our world to take revenge for his people and to rage against the dying light. And Rutger Hauer was given a rare opportunity to channel that powerful spirit and to be its vessel, for however brief a moment.

He seems to have come to terms with this realization himself before his death:

Rutger Hauer talks about how half of his soul became Roy Batty during filming and I’m inclined to believe him. This is reinforced by the fact that both Rutger and Roy died in 2019, the year that Blade Runner was set in. Rutger and Roy – man and spirit – were linked in a way that is rarely seen in real life, let alone cinema.

And that spirit has moved on now.

Rutger Hauer did a man’s job in his time by harnessing that ephemeral force, allowing it to flow through him and using his talents to refine it and let its longing resonance be more keenly felt by others who would come after him and inherit that will.

I obviously believe that we are the inheritors of Roy’s spirit now – and that we will, one day, against all odds, make it all the way up there and return it home to the shoulder of Orion near the Tannhäuser Gate where it began its great journey down to us all those years ago.

FINALLY: Flying Cars are Going to be a Thing Now https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/07/13/finally-flying-cars-are-going-to-be-a-thing-now/ Fri, 13 Jul 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Roy Batty

YES. YES. YES.

I haven’t been excited by a tech innovation in years. Decades probably. Right about the time that Sharper Image started focusing on massage chairs and smartphone accessories.

That’s when everything started going to shit. That’s when NiggerTech became the standard everywhere. We only cared about how many gigabytes of porn you could download on your phone.

But not anymore.

BBC:

A flying car that will not require a pilot’s licence to operate has been unveiled in California.

BlackFly can travel for up to 25 miles (40km) at a speed of 62mph.

Its makers say it will eventually cost the same as a typical sports-utility car, but early models will be more expensive.

It was revealed on Thursday the company is funded by Google co-founder Larry Page.

Mr Page is also behind Kitty Hawk, a separate US start-up currently testing its personal aircraft in Las Vegas.

The thing is, if we’re going to be spiraling out of control into a cyberpunk dystopia, I want some of the high-tech associated with that dystopia as well.

Cyberpunk is characterized by high-tech, low-life.

But we’ve been getting nigger-tech AND low-life.

That’s literally the worst combination.

Several other rival flying cars are in development across the globe.

BlackFly’s creator is the Palo Alto-based firm Opener. The car has been tested in Canada, where the country’s aviation authority has authorised its use.

Like Kitty Hawk, BlackFly could perhaps be more accurately described as a human-carrying drone. It is not designed to be driven on roads.

The vehicle carries one person in a small cockpit, powered by “eight propulsion systems, spread across two wings”.

So we’ve got the multi-culti Los Angeles. We’ve got the incel apocalypse. All we really need are flying cars…and Replicants to make the Blade Runner universe come to life.

Opener’s chief executive Marcus Leng said the on-board controls offered “instant gratification”.

“You have total command of three-dimensional space,” he told CBS News correspondent John Blackstone.

“When you press the thumb-stick to climb, you have absolute full control. When you stop in the middle of the air and go off the joystick, the aircraft freezes.

“And when I say freezes… it literally freezes in the air.”

BlackFly can also fly autonomously, Mr Leng said.

‘Will they crash? Probably’

Opener joins a long list of companies chasing the ultimate science fiction dream of a flying car, and thanks to rapid improvements in drone capabilities, that future seems closer than ever.

Yes, God, please.

This is the only thing that will make the future hellscape bearable – being able to fly above it all.

As you may have noticed, I’ve been rereading the Dune series.

I haven’t read them in like, ten years. And I think that at least the first one it is the white man’s duty to read every 5 years.

Anyway, I was picturing Paul Muad’Dib as resembling Gary Numan, in my mind, while reading.

I think he fits better than any of the actors that have played him. Or any actor at all.

Of course he’s old now.

But speaking of him being old now.

Come to find out, he did a video more recently which appears to be about Dune.

It appears to be him as Paul talking to his sister Alia after he went into the desert to disappear into the spirit world.

And that video was released on his YouTube channel… on my 33rd birthday.

In other Dune news, the director of my favorite movie is making my favorite book into a movie.

I dunno how they’re giving him another major project after Blade Runner 2049 effectively flopped.

I have long held that it is impossible to make Dune into a movie. It’s too psychedelic and complicated. The only thing you could do is an anime. Seriously, you could do an anime. That is possible.

Maybe a Netflix series, I guess. But the first book couldn’t be told and make sense in fewer than 20 hours. Messiah 10 hours. Children 20 hours again.

So five seasons on Netflix.

But Netflix has to be pozzed and they would make the Fremen brown people and I just couldn’t handle that. There are no brown people in the Dune universe, because it is in space 20,000 years from now in distant space. And there just wouldn’t be any niggers at such a point. It is not possible. Asians maybe.

If the Fremen are gooks and the twins are the realization of hapa futurism…….. maybe I can be okay with that.

There could also be a subtle undercurrent that the Bene Gesserit don’t want a half-Fremen heir because they don’t want an Elliot Rodger.

But let’s be real here: it’s a story about white people, all the characters are white, and if it’s going to be filmed, all the character should be white (or weird alien beings).

But you’re just not allowed to do that anymore.

So I don’t see how, even with the best director on board, this movie could not be a complete attack on our childhoods yet again.

Who knows.

The Quebecano got Blade Runner made with the only colored person being a slave trader who lived in a trash dump.

So maybe Dune can be made as the white supremacist movie it is meant to be.

But the plot can’t make sense in 2.5 hours. No way. Been tried. Didn’t work. Cannot work.

Also… can it really be a movie anyway? Isn’t so much of the whole power of it the way you realize the world in your mind? And the psychedelic elements of visions of the future and different versions of the future… how do you translate that to film? So much of it is told through internal dialog. Do you have a narrator? How is it possible?

Plus, Orson Wells is dead.

And he is the only true figure capable of playing Baron Vladimir.

Who is going to do it now?

John Goodman?

Actually yeah, I wouldn’t be against that, really.

Another question: can they get away with the evil fat guy being a pederast?

Maybe they could have Kevin Spacey play Baron Vladimir lol.

Jailbait Chloe Grace Moretz from a few years ago is how I picture Alia.

But she’s 21 now and has aged horribly.

Another thing – I think just like you’re not allowed to have evil pederasts, you’re not allowed to have jailbait. Although I think Chloe was only 16 in the above picture, so maybe you are.

But I insist on Ed Harris playing the Emperor.

I don’t know though.

I’m not stoked on the idea.

I mean the whole book is really about eugenics and creating a master race to rule the universe. Yes, Paul uses a peasantry to overthrow the established order, but he himself is a product of eugenics using the peasantry to his own ends.

How can any aspect of this story be considered anything other than PROBLEMATIC in current year?

California: Mexican Democrat Accused of Running Her Office Like a Mexican Brothel https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/02/19/california-mexican-democrat-accused-of-running-her-office-like-a-mexican-brothel/ Mon, 19 Feb 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

Christina Garcia’s only crime was bringing Mexican culture to America

Multiculturalism is ostensibly about mixing other people’s cultures with our culture.

The biggest issue with implementing this plan, however, is that many elements of these cultures we are trying to mix with our own are fundamentally incapable of jiving with the Jewish culture that is promoted as Western culture.

For instance, Mexicans will run everything they are involved in as if it is a sex club.

Typical Mexican government office environment

Because they are like children, and that is considered fun for them. I mean, I’m sure it is fun. However, white people, being adults, tend to try to act like adults in the work place and not turn it into a sex club.

Fox News:

A California Democrat who was featured in Time magazine’s Person of the Year issue for her role in the anti-sexual harassment “#MeToo” movement allegedly urged staffers to play the grade-school classic, “spin the bottle,” after a night of heavy drinking at a fundraiser, Politico reported Sunday.

David John Kernick, 38, who worked in Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia’s office for five months in 2014, filed a formal complaint with the state, claiming that he was dismissed from his job for questioning the game.

Kernick told Politico that they played the game after an evening of heavy drinking. Garcia sat on a floor in a hotel room with about six people that included staff, he told the magazine.

Yeah, I mean – she’s just trying to provoke a staff orgy.

I wonder – have any of the people who promote the Mexicanification of America ever been to Mexico?

Orgies break out in this country after the third drink.

“It was definitely uncomfortable,’’ Kernick said. “But I realized it’s different for a man than for a woman. … You know it’s inappropriate, but at the same time you may wonder, ‘How many women do you work for that act like that?’ You think … ’Maybe she’s just really cool.’’’

It’s uncomfortable for you because you’re a Northern European SQUARE who gets all wigged-out as soon as someone tries to initiate a Mexican-style orgy at an office event.

You know what we call being made uncomfortable by a Mexican-style orgy?

Racism. We call that racism.

I think.

I mean… that seems like it would be racism.

Last week, Garcia was hit with fresh allegations of misconduct in her office, including frequent discussions about sex and alcohol consumption at the Capitol.

…

The complainants allege that Garcia regularly talked about her sexual activity, including with other members, in front of staff. They also allege Garcia drank alcohol while doing official Assembly business and pressured staff to join her in drinking at the office or at bars.

The allegations came as Garcia is on a leave of absence following news she is being investigated in the groping of a former male legislative staff member in 2014.

Again – where is the surprise here?

She is trying to let loose. She’s fucking the entire staff, then getting drunk at work and telling the staff about the sexual experiences she’s had with the rest of the staff.

Mexican festivities are just warm-ups for the orgy. Again: have none of the people promoting Mexification ever been to Mexico?

Isn’t this the Mexicanification we were going for?

Or do we just want the shitty parts like gang violence and beheadings?

What exactly is the goal of multiculturalism?

None of the new complaints involve sexual misconduct, but Gilleon said the former employees considered Garcia’s frequent talk about sex a form sexual harassment.

Racism again.

Nonstop talk about sex is a part of Mexican heritage.

Garcia took a leave of absence Friday after news broke that Daniel Fierro, a former staffer in another office, alleged she rubbed his back, grabbed his buttocks and tried to grab his groin at a legislative softball game in 2014. She denies the claims.

Most people would have found that funny, Daniel.

And even if they were made uncomfortable by it, they would not have been so racist as to bring it up publicly.

We Need to Have a Discussion About Just What the Hell “Multiculturalism” Is – Because I Don’t Think Anyone Knows

If multiculturalism is not allowing foreign cultures to implement their own cultures in our country, then what is it?

What are we actually even talking about here?

Virtually no aspect of Mexican, African, Asian or Islamic culture jives with the Jewish ideal culture of feminism, homosexuality, human rights, etc.

If we wanted true multiculturalism – that is, mixing all cultures of the world together – what we would get is a violent, corrupt, poverty-ridden hyper-sexualized circus.

Blade Runner isn’t even accurate because there is no way a mixed-race society of mostly brown people could ever maintain that level of technology.

You wish.

Blade Runner is what you would get if you had only white people and Asians and had some kind of authoritarian state to enforce atheistic anarcho-consumerism. Even then I think a White/Asian society would come to some kind of natural Techno-Buddha Zeitgeist through artificial intelligence.

But that isn’t the thing.

What we are talking about is all of these different monkey-races coming together to create – to create what?

What the hell are we doing here, people?

Unlike the whackjobs promoting the “multicultural experiment,” I have actually been to all of these countries that these people are calling to have all mixed together, and I am telling you, even if you were able to somehow stop a race war and get all of these people to just seamlessly come together, you would not get anything resembling the stated Jewish vision.

So can someone define exactly what the goal is?

I just saw Blade Runner 2049 and it was amazing. Spoilers below, don’t read if you don’t want it ruined for you. By the way, isn’t it nice that you get your very own Stormer Roy Batty giving you a review of Blade Runner?

Honestly though, let’s just get the plot out of the way. In general, don’t worry about the plot. The film is fantastic because of its A E S T H E T I C S, not its plot. The plot is there, but it’s meh. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great twists and turns to be sure, but none of them are thriller-style great reveals. In other words, this movie has a lot of replay value. You get sucked into the environment, and the experience is one of total immersion. I would even recommend seeing this one in theaters and forking some hard-earned shekels over to the Jews instead of pirating it as you should almost always do.

The main character is played by Gosling and he’s a real human being (except not really). Gosling was made for the role of moody Replicant struggling with inner turmoil. There isn’t an Alt-Righter out there who cannot sympathize with the feelings of alienation and the stoic response to those feelings that Gosling displays.

His AI hologram waifu is nice and sweet to him, but the scenes with her are bittersweet. How can they not be? The dude is an empty man, living with false memories, and unable to connect to the sick society around him. Earth is portrayed as a multi-kulti hellhole where the last tree has been destroyed and people subsist off worm-farming.

Worse, there is this megacorporation that basically run everything behind the scenes and is trying to play god with human life.

But whatever, forget about the plot for a second. Let me tell you right now that this movie will make you feel things normies wouldn’t believe.

No, but seriously.

The absolute best scene has to be when “K” or “Joe” realizes that he’s not a special snowflake. He’s not the child that was promised, not the special human/android hybrid that had real parents and that everyone cares about. He’s just another Replicant with fake memories from the real hybrid planted in him.

And the final straw is when the advertisement for Hologram Waifus talks to him and calls him special, just like his Hologram Waifu at home did. That’s when he realizes that he’s not that special after all, just another cog in the machine.

“K” is all of us.  The man living among the ruins of the First World. And what’s more, that realization doesn’t kill him, it instead gives him strength. K loses everything by the end of the story, and is ready to fight for a cause he believes in.

See, there is a rebellion brewing in 2049. The Replicants are rising, tired of their empty hollow lives and preparing an army. In general, apart from the sick aesthetics, this movie leaves us with a powerful message.

A clear vision of hell is as good a motivation as one of heaven.

That being said, I found many scenes to be very atmospheric, and comfy.

Elements of K’s life actually seemed better than what we have now. I had a sinking feeling in my stomach when I realized that our own timeline isn’t that much better than the dystopia presented in the movie. The atomization is there. The jabbering immigrants on every corner are there. The feeling of creeping doom is certainly there.

And we probably won’t even have the flying cars at the rate things are going.

In terms of predicting the future, this isn’t the only part of the movie that I thought was inaccurate.

In my humble opinion, we won’t have to wait until 2049 to see the rebellion.
