Two minors are recovering after they were shot at an Orlando park. It happened Monday evening at Poppy Park, on Lescot Lane off Raleigh Street.

The shooters were four teenagers. Police said the boys opened fire at the park where dozens of people were gathered.

“That incident happened in the courtyard over there where they play basketball,” neighbor Eddie Maldonado said.

Orlando police said 30 to 40 people were gathered in Poppy Park when an officer patrolling the area saw several young men get out of a sedan and open fire, shooting two young people.

An angry dad fired a SHOTGUN towards a random woman in an Aldi car park after flying into a rage because he felt he had been “disrespected”.

Criminal Jumaane Bruce, 22, lost his temper after becoming embroiled in a petty dispute with two men outside an off-licence who said “what are you staring at?” a court heard.

Bruce returned minutes later wearing a balaclava and gloves on, brandishing a shotgun, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Carrying the deadly weapon, he then chased one of the men, who “ran for his life” and nearby shoppers scattered terrified and screaming, the court was told.

The victim was so scared he opened a stranger’s car door and jumped onto the lap of an innocent woman as she sat in the driver’s seat.

She begged Bruce “don’t shoot me” as he approached, armed with the shotgun.

But from just metres away, Bruce fired towards the Vauxhall Astra leaving dents and holes in the door and the remnants of a shotgun cartridge sprayed around.

Some of the many children who witnessed the incident were left in tears after the dramatic ordeal near the the Aldi supermarket in Burnage, Manchester, last May.

The woman caught up in the ordeal believed she was going to die, Michael Lavery, prosecuting said.

Bruce, from Withington, Manchester, was later arrested and officers found a balaclava and body armour at his home address.

A plea to stop tho violence! Indianapolis Police Department Deputy Chief Robert Turner was one of the special guests during the “Stop The Violence” march and rally sponsored by Mt. Vernon Community Missionary Baptist Church Aug. 30. According to Shetetta Underwood, organizer of , the event this, is one of several marches and rallies scheduled in response to the increasing violence in Haughville.

In 2014 (17 years later), Indianapolis is dedicating vast resources to fight the almost exclusively black-in-origin violence in the city. Remember? The city introduced a touted anti-violence plan in March… to stop black crime (if your city has training sessions to create new “violence interrupters” it’s time move).

And this is only for a population that constitutes 28 percent of the city’s population.

There have been a total of 72 murders in Indianapolis so far in 2014. Those numbers put the city on a pace to rival the 162 murders recorded in 1998. Police said many of the victims and suspects in those murders were black males under the age of 25.

A murder trial involving a victim and suspects of that demographic was just getting underway Monday. The 2013 murder case  gained little notoriety when it happened at 24th Street and Guilford Avenue. The victim was 19 and was left lying in the street.

Damien Williams survived for a while, but eventually died from the gunshot wounds. Jamar Minor, 20, and 21-year-old Jordan Gray were charged in Williams’ murder.

“They killed him for no reason. I can’t even explain the feeling. We still hurt, we are still going through our pain today. It’s like nothing you can explain,” the victim’s sister Kearrah Williams said.

Some believe that violent video games are the genesis for some of the gunplay.

“They are using these violent videos. They are being desensitized to this kind of violence. You have the hardcore gangster rap talking about violence these young men are starting to emulate it. The problem is when young men have beef with one another, they settle it now through guns,” community activist Rev. Charles Harrison said.

The seemingly free flow of guns and an inability of ex-offenders to find legitimate work compound the problem.

“If they can’t work they are out here hustling, selling drugs involved in all sorts of criminal activity that leads to gun violence.  If you try to rob a drug dealer, if you are gonna rob him, you are gonna have to kill him because if you don’t, he is gonna kill you or have someone else kill you,” Harrison said.

White people watch a lot of violent videos.

White people don’t emulate the “hardcore gangster rap talking about violence” as black people do, Rev. Harrison.

Nor do white people need to have “stop the violence” marches.

U.S. Rep Andre Carson, Mayor Greg Ballard, public safety officials, community and clergy leaders are also set to attend.

There was an urgent call for peace Thursday afternoon on the downtown steps of the Indiana War Memorial.

Representatives from the Muslim, Christian and Jewish faiths were present to unite for one cause — to stop the killing and stop the violence.

Twelve ministers from different faiths spoke and rallied to keep the faith and to show that the community will not back down against violence.

“Where there is despair we pray for hope. Where dreams have been destroyed we pray for new possibilities, and where violence continues to harm God we pray for peace,” Rev. Ann Rosebrock with Meridian Street United Methodist Church said.

The coming together of different theological beliefs to “stop the violence” didn’t work, because “violence” isn’t the true source of the problem.

Failing to admit this, will ensure “stop the violence” marches continue deep into the 21st century.

New surveillance video discovered by Eyewitness News shows a robbery suspect moments before he shot a store clerk.

The unidentified suspect shot 45-year-old Kicks 66 clerk Harry Briggs in the head during the robbery Wednesday night. Briggs has been on life support since the shooting. His family and friends are discussing the tough decision on whether to remove him from support.

In the meantime, detectives are working non-stop on every tip. They are looking closely at the new video, which captures the suspect on camera running down the street in a neighborhood near Lynhurst and Troy. Police believe it was recorded just seconds after he robbed the convenience store.

Detectives hope someone recognizes the man, who was wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt, had earrings in both ears and a bandana covered by a Miami Heat ball cap. They hope someone recognizes his voice, captured on store security cameras as he yelled at the store clerks.

Briggs’ roommate, Randy Newkirk, was trained as a new clerk this year by Briggs himself. He is keeping the faith that police will find the shooter.

“They will get him. He will get it for what he has done. That’s all you can hope for,” Newkirk said.

Friends and customers have started a memorial outside the store where Briggs was shot. It now has more meaning, since Newkirk says his family has already made a tough decision.

“They are going to take him off life support tomorrow and take his body back to Virginia,” he said.

At least six people, including two teenagers, were shot Monday night at a laundromat in Chicago, according to multiple reports.

Another negro mass shooting. They lied about that, too.

The shootings took place around 8:30 p.m. at the Sudz laundry in the city’s South Side. Four victims, including the two teens — ages 14 and 16 — are in serious-to-critical condition at area hospitals, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Tribune reports that at least five people were also wounded in shootings elsewhere in the city on Monday evening. And CBS says there have been 23 people wounded by gunfire and seven killed in shootings since Friday.

Todd Stone was bouncing at a downtown Spokane bar Thursday morning when police say 23-year-old Andre Hallman fired two gunshots into the crowed bar. Stone was hit once in the leg. The other bullet grazed his stomach. Stone sat down with KHQ’s Dylan Wohlenhaus Monday.

Stone says he was moving some patio furniture in from outside the bar and told Hallman he was not allowed back in because he was causing trouble.

“Then I walked back in, put the chair down, the next thing I know I was getting hit by a bullet,” Stone said.

Police say Hallman fired two shots through a glass window from the sidewalk outside, and Stone was the intended target.One of the bullets entered Stone’s right leg, passed through and bounced off his left leg. The other bullet grazed his stomach.

“I knew I had gotten hit. I looked around. There were people huddled behind the bar along the walls, nobody knew what to do. I said call 911, I got shot.”

Stone is now recovering at home after spending several hours in the hospital Thursday morning. Stone says the community support has been the main thing that has gotten he and his family through this difficult time.?

One of the two suspects, 23 year old Andre Hallman will be in court Monday afternoon. Hallman is facing first degree assault charges.

Shaneka Monique Torres is particular about her hamburgers. Very particular.

She’s so particular that when employees at a McDonald’s in Grand Rapids, Mich., goofed up her order twice in one evening, she expressed her displeasure by allegedly firing a gun at the drive-thru window.

The first botched order happened Sunday evening when Torres, 29, and a female companion placed their order at the drive-thru window. Torres complained that the order was botched, and employees offered the pair a free meal the next time they came in, MLive.com reported.

She and her friend returned to the drive-thru at about 3 a.m. Monday morning and made the same order as before.

When she discovered the order was incorrect again, Torres allegedly verbally confronted the employee and exited her vehicle. She’s accused of shooting one pistol round into the drive-thru window.

No one was injured. In fact, employees thought a coffee pot exploded.

Torres’ unidentified companion drove away from the restaurant and dropped off Torres at her home.

She wasn’t there long. When Torres complained about the first goofed-up burger, she left her cell phone number at the restaurant so the manager could contact her, WOOD-TV reported.

Using that info, police tracked her to her house and arrested her for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and discharging a loaded weapon into an occupied building.

Torres isn’t the only person whose disgust over a fast food order led to criminal charges.

In December, Michael and Nova Smith were cited for assault and disorderly conduct for throwing food at employees, all because they didn’t get the hash browns they ordered at McDonald’s.

They also allegedly called 911 instead of McDonald’s customer service.

In April, Antonius Hart Sr. and his son, Antonius Hart Jr., allegedly pointed an AK-47 rifle at employees of a Memphis fast food chain when they didn’t get the chicken wings they ordered.

In January 2013, a McDonald’s order error led a customer to fire a shotgun. A standoff with police ensued.

One person was shot Friday night at Rose Valley Apartment Homes off of N Northwest Loop 323 in Tyler.

Tyler police say Armis Barnes, 25, of Tyler was taken to East Texas Medical Center on  Friday night with non-life-threatening injuries, where she underwent surgery. Police say she was shot in the face at the apartment complex.

Major Crimes Investigators and a CSI team were notified and responded to the scene while patrol officers detained and identified several other individuals found inside the apartment.

Following an investigation, an arrest warrant for Ke’Avier Jarrod Wilson-Hurd, 20, was issued and he was taken into custody. Wilson-Hurd was transported to the Smith County Jail where he was booked in for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a $500,000 bond.

Wilson-Hurd has a previous record in Smith County. Most notably, he was charged in connection with a fatal shooting at P.T. Cole Park in Tyler in July 2013 which killed a young mother as she was playing with her child at the park. Wilson-Hurd was eventually no-billed on those charges and released.

Wilson-Hurd was also arrested in June 2010 for assault of a family member and August 2013 for unlawfully carrying a weapon.

After the deeply disturbing scenes of Wednesday evening, when supporters  of Mark Duggan yelled abuse and ran amok in the Royal Courts of Justice, the politicians spent yesterday urging calm.

Of course, it is understandable that David Cameron and his ministerial colleagues should wish to tread carefully in the wake of the inquest jury’s conclusion that Duggan was lawfully killed by a police marksman.

They are acutely aware of Tottenham’s troubled history, and how in 2011 Duggan’s death triggered the worst rioting in England for a generation.

But isn’t there a grave danger that, in the determination of ministers and others not to offend perceived racial sensitivities, the facts of the case will become lost?

Mr Cameron spoke of how there was ‘more to do’ to address racial prejudice on the streets of London and elsewhere.

Yet, while there are on-going concerns over issues like the disproportionate use of stop and search on young black men, there is no evidence that the shooting of mixed-race Duggan had anything to do with colour.

Rather, the police stopped and shot him for no other reason than he was a known criminal who had just collected a firearm from a fellow gangster, and they believed he was en-route to carry out a ‘hit’.

The inquest jury heard from 93 witnesses before deciding that the officer – under unimaginable pressure when he fired the lethal shot – was right to fear Duggan posed a threat to life.

With depressing predictability, Left-wing campaigners are seeking to make political capital out of Duggan’s death.

Indeed, the Labour MP Diane Abbott should be ashamed of her decision to attack the jury’s conclusion – delivered amid the kind of intimidation no one should face when performing a civic duty – as ‘puzzling’.

But most offensive – and potentially dangerous – is the idea that Duggan’s death was an act of violence against the entire ‘black community’ and that his supporters speak for the local population as a whole.

Little Rock Police have announced the arrest of a man accused of opening fire on seven women in December.

Lt. Sidney Allen said Jamie Olatreece Clayton, 20, of Little Rock, met with police at a prearranged location around 6 p.m. Sunday. He has been charged with 12 counts of Terroristic Acts, one count of Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons, one count of Second-Degree Battery, and two counts of Aggravated Assault.

Clayton is said to be the driver who began shooting at seven women in a yard on 25th Street and Lewis St.

Three others have also been arrested in connection to the shooting, and Clayton is now in police custody at the Pulaski County Detention Center.
