Levi’s new AI-generated model

If you look at any clothing ad, it’s all diversity and it’s really just repulsive.

It’s reasonable to shake it up a little bit with robots, and try to make the colors of the “fudge rainbow” look a bit more pleasing.

The Guardian:

The star of Levi’s new campaign looks like any other model . Her tousled hair hangs over her shouldersas she gazes into the camera with that far-off high-fashion stare. But look closer, and something starts to seem a little off. The shadow between her chin and neck looks muddled, like a bad attempt at using FaceTune’s eraser effect to hide a double chin. Her French manicured fingernails appear scrubbed clean and uniform in a creepy real doll kind of way.

The model is AI-generated, a digital rendering of a human being that will start appearing on Levi’s e-commerce website later this year. The brand teamed with LaLaLand.ai, a digital studio that makes customized AI models for companies like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, to dream up this avatar.

Amy Gershkoff Bolles, Levi’s global head of digital and emerging technology strategy, announced the model’s debut at a Business of Fashion event in March. AI models will not completely replace the humans, she said, but will serve as a “supplement” intended to aid in the brand’s representation of various sizes, skin tones and ages.

“When we say supplement, we mean the AI-generated models can be used in conjunction with human models to potentially expand the number of models per product,” a Levi’s spokesperson said. “We are excited about a world where consumers can see more models on our site, potentially reflecting any combination of body type, age, size, race and ethnicity, enabling us to create a more personal and inclusive shopping experience.”

Michael Musandu, the founder of LaLaLand.ai, created the software in part because he struggled to find models who look like him. He was born in Zimbabwe, raised in South Africa, and moved to the Netherlands to study computer science. “Any good technologist, instead of complaining about a problem, will build a future where you could actually have this representation,” Musandu said.

What about simply hiring a diverse cast of models? Musandu said that LaLaLand.ai is not meant to “replace” models, but allow brands to afford showing off different clothes on as many bodies as possible.

“It is not feasible for brands to shoot nine models for every single product they sell, because they’re not just hiring models, they’re hiring photographers, hair stylists and makeup artists for those models.” AI-generated images don’t need glam squads, so brands can cut costs they would spend on set by using fake avatars.

A spokesperson for Levi’s added: “The models Levi’s hires are already diverse and this will continue to be a priority for us. Over the past year, we’ve been focused on ensuring that those working on the content both in front and behind the camera are reflective of our broad consumer base.”

Yet the diversity that AI can provide is always going to be virtual – a computer-generated sense of inclusivity. Are brands who generate, for example, black models for pieces where they only photographed a white human model engaging in a kind of digital blackface?

This is not a new question. There are already “digital influencers” like Lil Miquela and Shudu, fake avatars with millions of followers on social media. They model Prada, Dior, and Gucci clothing with the idea that their (human) audience will purchase the pieces. Neither model is white, but both have at least one white creator (Shudu was created by British fashion photographer Cameron-James Wilson and Miquela by Trevor McFedries and Sara Decou).

Criticism of Levi’s for casting AI models instead of real ones echoes the wave of response Lil Miquela got when she was first launched in 2016, or when Shudu made her debut two years later. The New Yorker’s Lauren Michele Jackson called Shudu “a white man’s digital projection of real Black womanhood”.

Lil Miquela’s creators also filled her fake life with “events” to try and give her personality. Calvin Klein apologized for a Pride ad that showed Lil Miquela kissing the real model Bella Hadid. A few months later, Lil Miquela came out with a story of experiencing sexual assault in the back of a ride-share, and followers accused her creators of making up a traumatic event for clout.

Unlike their mortal counterparts, these models also never age. Miquela, a “19-year-old Robot living in LA”, is forever 19 – making her a hot commodity in a youth-obsessed industry.

Deep Agency, another Netherlands-based AI company, made headlines this month after debuting its own “AI modeling agency”. The service, which costs $29 a month, brands itself as a way for creators to “say goodbye to traditional photoshoots”. Users type in description for what they want their photo to look like, and receive “high-quality” photos of fake models in return.

Paid subscribers of the service gain access to 12 models of various races, though all appear to be smaller-bodied and in their 20s and 30s. Users browse through the site’s catalog of existing images, which include photos of models engaging in activities like reading books or giving the camera a peace sign. Those photos serve as the inspiration for the final result.

In a photo rendered by the Guardian, one model named “Chai” had an unnervingly plastic-looking face and extra-long, slender fingers that belonged in a horror film. Another, “Caitlin”, had a concerning amount of veins popping out from under the skin of her neck. A male model, “Airik”, seemed incredibly uncomfortable and stick-straight as he posed in front of a drab gray building.

How long before these models are taking away jobs from real people? Sara Ziff, founder of the advocacy group The Model Alliance, is concerned, “capitalizing on someone else’s identity to the exclusion of hiring people who are actually Black could be compared to Blackface”, Ziff said.

Robot blackface?!?

That’s friend. I never thought of that.

Is Going Undercover in Blackface a Good Plan When Killing Your Whore Wife? https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/10/13/is-going-undercover-in-blackface-a-good-plan-when-killing-your-whore-wife/ Tue, 13 Oct 2020 00:00:00 +0000
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear blackface.

There comes a time in every man’s life when he needs to concoct a plan to murder his whore wife who left him.

Many often ask: is going undercover in blackface a good strategy?

WHIO:

A Texas man who had just lost custody of his 1-year-old daughter is accused of wearing blackface as a disguise as he stabbed and shot the baby’s mother to death outside her workplace earlier this month.

Andrew Charles Beard, 33, of Rowlett, is charged with murder in the Oct. 2 killing of Alyssa Ann Burkett, 24, of Rockwall. Beard is being held in lieu of $1 million in the Dallas County Jail.

Burkett, an apartment manager at Greentree Apartments in Carrollton, had just arrived for work shortly after 9 a.m. when she was shot and repeatedly stabbed, Carrollton police officials said.

“During the investigation, detectives learned that the suspect and victim had recently been involved in a contentious custody battle,” a police statement said. “The child is unharmed and in the protective custody of Texas Child Protective Services.”

Burkett was awarded custody of her daughter, Willow, on Sept. 30, just two days before she was slain.

According to her obituary, Burkett had a “good grasp for life and a bright future.”

Not anymore!

She was grasping for life when a big old black buck snubbed it out!

HA!

I guess maybe she shouldn’t have messed around???

The conclusion is: yes, it may be funny to wear blackface when killing your wife, and it may help you accomplish the goal of ridding her of this mortal coil.

However, you won’t get away with it.

But is getting away with it really the point?

What I will say is that you don’t want her to think it is a black man. You want her to know it is you. In those last moments, you want her to see your eyes, and know it is you who is taking everything from her, like she took everything from you.

You know, clown makeup might be a good option.

Happy Halloween, folks – and a word of caution!

If there were any holiday that has ruined more people’s lives than Halloween, you’d be hard-pressed to find it. Maybe St. Paddy’s Day, but even then, I can’t imagine that it’s anywhere close. Everyone knows that Halloween is a dangerous time, and dreads the holiday coming because every year, a person or business falls victim to a new rule PC rule that no one was aware of the year before.

Trick or treating and bar-crawling are not what Halloween is really about. The goyim are belatedly realizing that it is actually about providing a fresh annual blood sacrifice to the PC demons.

This year, Bed Bath & Beyond was the first victim.

WFLA:

Retailer Bed Bath & Beyond has removed black jack-o-lanterns after receiving complaints they were forms of blackface.

A controversial Halloween display at a law firm has some Nyack, New York residents asking — black pumpkin or blackface?

For reference:

Clearly, PC overreach as usual, but c’mon, BB&B – only a Boomer Martha Stewart enthusiast could think that this was a good idea in the Current Year.

NAACP director Wilbur Aldridge says the jack-o-lanterns show “An extreme lack of sensitivity.”

“By now I would believe everyone [would] know that anything in blackface is offensive,” he said in a statement. “Equally as offensive is that a retail store would have such an item in [their] inventory for general purchase.”

I think they did the right thing but I also think that they’re entitled to the way they feel.”

And with this reaction, the law firm decided to take those pumpkins down less than 48 hours after setting them out on the porch.

…

Bed Bath and Beyond has sinced apologize saying “This is a sensitive area and, though unintentional, we apologize for any offence caused. We have immediately removed the item from sale.”

And that’s that.

They probably had to make a charitable donation to an NAACP Gibs Industrial Complex slush fund as well.

Because that’s just how the PC racket works in America.

Jews get blacks riled up and Whites have to give the blacks Jews hush-money to keep them quiet. Not to sound like a Puritan here, but Halloween really should be outlawed because it is far too dangerous to allow in a society infected with PC and Jews.

Too many people are getting burned by this holiday. Something has to be done to stop the blood-letting. Enough is enough!

The sacrifice of innocents must come to an end!

Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. Are Guilty of Blackface and They Even Profited from It https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/09/22/ben-stiller-and-robert-downey-jr-are-guilty-of-blackface-and-they-even-profited-from-it/ Sun, 22 Sep 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

Robert Downey Jr. doing blackface

Ben Stiller directed the movie Tropic Thunder, where Robert Downey Jr. culturally and visually appropriated the Black Man Persona.

This was not in 2001, like when Justin Trudeau dressed up like an Islamic rapist for a party – it was in 2008, 7 years later, and for much more than a party.

I publicly denounce both of them for this sick act of racism where they mocked black people for profit.

Wikipedia on Tropic Thunder:

The film received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the film’s characters, story, faux trailers, and the performances of Stiller, Downey, Black and Tom Cruise, though the depiction of the mentally handicapped and usage of blackface makeup were seen as controversial. The film’s soundtrack and score debuted on August 5, 2008, before the film’s theatrical release. Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks released the film in the US on August 13, 2008. In its North American opening weekend, the film earned $26 million and retained the number one position for the first three weekends of release. Downey was nominated for an Academy Award, BAFTA Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award, with both him and Cruise receiving nominations for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture. The film grossed more than $188 million worldwide before its release on home video on November 18, 2008.

The Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture are guilty of not only endorsing blackface but also rewarding the sick, violent act of blackface.

To make things worse, the fact that blackface made its way to Jewish people in Hollywood really shows how much pervasive this white supremacist practice is.

Wikipedia on Ben Stiller:

Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller was born on November 30, 1965 in New York City and raised on the Upper West Side. His father, comedian and actor Jerry Stiller, is from a Jewish family that emigrated from Poland and Galicia in Central Europe. His mother, actress and comedian Anne Meara, who was from an Irish Catholic background, converted to Reform Judaism after marrying his father. While they “were never a very religious family”, they celebrated both Hanukkah and Christmas, and Stiller had a Bar Mitzvah.

If we don’t stop the kind of white supremacist rhetoric that normalizes blackface, even the most oppressed group of people on Earth will become racists.

Wikipedia on Robert Downey Jr.:

Downey was born in Manhattan, New York, the younger of two children. His father, Robert Downey Sr., is an actor and filmmaker, while his mother, Elsie Ann (née Ford), was an actress who appeared in Downey Sr.’s films. Downey’s father is of half Lithuanian Jewish, one-quarter Hungarian Jewish, and one-quarter Irish descent, while Downey’s mother had Scottish, German, and Swiss ancestry. Robert’s original family name was Elias which was changed by his father to enlist in the Army. Downey and his older sister Allyson grew up in Greenwich Village.

The Jewish people were victims of white supremacy themselves. Despite this fact, they’re vulnerable to the Nazi ideas that are so widespread on America nowadays.

Both Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. are victims of this normalization of racism, but that doesn’t excuse them from what they did. After all, they did profit from blackface.

If they want to atone for their sin, they should give all of the movie’s earnings to black people.

Blackface Cracka: Justin Trudeau Says His Privilege Made Him Do It https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/09/22/blackface-cracka-justin-trudeau-says-his-privilege-made-him-do-it/ Sun, 22 Sep 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Andrew Anglin

This is like the best new form of converting Christianity into secular Noahidism – “the devil made me do it” is now “my privilege made me do it.”

Stamford Advocate:

People in the United States might feel a smidge of schadenfreude at our neighbor’s struggle with a transgression alarmingly common among politicians here at home – if only our own schaden weren’t so tremendous. Still, there’s something about the Trudeau story that makes it especially hard to ignore, and his explanation for his behavior gets right at it.

“I came from a place of privilege . . . but now I have to acknowledge that that comes with a massive blind spot,” Trudeau told reporters in the latest of his multiple apologies for his multiple mistakes. “The fact of the matter is I’ve always – and you’ll know this – been more enthusiastic about costumes than is sometimes appropriate,” he told reporters in the first instance.

Trudeau’s critics, of course, have been saying he loves costumes for a long time now. He masks the shallowness of his commitment to the First Nations people with a tattoo based on a Haida design on his sculpted left triceps; he camouflages a retreat from welcoming refugees with a constant flow of lovely language condemning President Trump’s xenophobia.

Yet the trouble with Trudeau’s comment comes not only from casting modern-day minstrelsy as just another “costume,” or even in the coy familiarity Trudeau assumes his audience has with his proclivity for dress-up. No, the trouble comes from the concept that enthusiasm is an excuse – as if Trudeau were a small child who simply could not help himself from dressing up in Jamaican garb and singing the banana boat song, or dressing up as a turbaned character from “Aladdin” for an Arabian Nights party, or dressing up as whatever on earth he’s supposed to look like in the most recently released dark makeup video, because, gosh, it was just so fun!

Trudeau speaks with the bashfulness of a man who expects sympathy from a country that adores him as a father does his little boy. That’s fitting for the scion of a Quebecois dynasty and son of former prime minister, the late Joseph Philippe Pierre Yves Elliott Trudeau. He didn’t do better because he didn’t “know better,” and he didn’t know better because no one ever taught him.

…

It’s obvious what’s wrong with treating the thing that caused insensitive behavior as a reason you expect forgiveness for that same insensitive behavior. Ignorance won’t go away if it justifies itself. There’s a catch, though: Trudeau isn’t wrong.

Trudeau says he “didn’t understand how hurtful this is to people who live with discrimination every single day,” because he doesn’t live with discrimination every day. It’s a cop-out on one level, but on another his words underscore a precept of responsible identity politicking: Check your privilege, the exhortation-turned-cliché goes. It means acknowledge your advantages – both how they’ve helped you, and how they limit you when it comes to comprehending others’ less-charmed lives.

…

What Trudeau teaches us is that there’s a difference between insisting that you didn’t see something and insisting that you couldn’t see something – between blaming your fortunate circumstances for your failure and blaming yourself, then accepting whatever comes your way because you failed.

“I didn’t consider it racist at the time,” Trudeau said, “but now we know better.” There’s the essential question: Do we really?

“I did racism because I’m surrounded by racism, we’re all enveloped by it in the racist controlled world of white supremacy” is the redux of the prince getting caught in a sex scandal and saying “I’m a sinner because we live in a fallen world, we are all born sinners.”

At first when you realize political correctness is all just a reformulation of Christianity, it seems kind of quaint.

But then you see the effects of it, and the goals of it, and realize it is pure evil designed by Jews to exterminate the white race by getting us to go along with new and evil versions of all of these memes we’d previously been familiar with as Christians and which remain deeply embedded in our cultural psychology.

The world was shocked to realize that the world’s number one nigger lover did a thing that would maybe hurt the feelings of niggers – blackface.

So the media response has been to say that blackface was actually brownface. You could analyze that response. But honestly, I’m not sure I have the energy.

USA Today:

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized Wednesday after a 2001 brownface photo from a school yearbook surfaced taken when he was a 29-year-old teacher, adding turbulence for Trudeau to an already choppy re-election campaign.

He told reporters while traveling on an airplane that the photo is from 2001 when he was a teacher at the West Point Grey Academy. He was attending an end-of-year gala “where the theme was Arabian Nights.”

“I dressed up in an Aladdin costume, and put makeup on,” he continued. “I shouldn’t have done it. I should have known better, but I didn’t,” he said. “And I’m really sorry.”

The existence of the photograph was first reported by Time Magazine and was confirmed to Time by spokeswoman Zita Astravas of his re-election campaign.

“He attended with friends and colleagues dressed as a character from Aladdin,” she told the magazine.

Canada’s New Democratic Party Leader Jagmeet Singh, who was participating in a town hall meeting when the news of the photo broke, said according to the Toronto Sun: “I think he needs to answer for it. I think he’s got to answer the question why he did that and what does that say about what he thinks about people who, because of who they are, because of the color of their skin, face challenges and barriers and obstacles in their life.”

In the same remarks to reporters Wednesday, Trudeau also admitted that he had once dressed up in a similar way during a high school talent show, saying he wore “makeup” to perform “Day-O”,  a traditional Jamaican folk tune sung by legendary African American performer and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte.

Clearly, it is time for Trudeau to resign.

In fact, he should really just go to prison for this.

You can’t just have people running around dressing up in costumes and potentially hurting people’s feelings.

Time’s up, Trudeau!

Blackface, brownface – no face for you!

You’re off the team!

Blackface is pure evil.

This woman – she is evil incarnate.

Washington Post:

The skit was called “cigar butts,” and a couple of the university students who starred in it thought the performance was hilarious.

Then an Auburn University senior, Ben LaRavia, recounted the act on a campus radio show. It was 1967, at a Baptist Student Union party, and he was there with his fiancee at the time: now his ex-wife and Alabama’s Republican Gov. Kay Ivey.

“Cigar butts,” LaRavia said, involved “crawling around on the floor looking for cigar butts and things like this, which certainly got a big reaction out of the audience.”

It also involved blackface.

LaRavia, chortling as he described Ivey’s outfit, said she wore blue coveralls, “and she had put some black paint all over her face.”

“That was just my role for the evening,” Ivey says later in the interview.

Fifty-two years later, Ivey is one of the state’s most powerful politicians, and on Thursday she apologized for participating in the racist skit while dodging calls for her resignation.

The Alabama governor joins the ever-growing collection of white politicians — from the North and from the South, from areas urban and rural, and from the Democratic and Republican parties — to face scrutiny and scorn for their caricatures of black people inspired by minstrel shows dating back to the 1830s.

“I offer my heartfelt apologies for the pain and embarrassment this causes, and I will do all I can — going forward — to help show the nation that the Alabama of today is a far cry from the Alabama of the 1960s,” Ivey said in a statement. “We have come a long way, for sure, but we still have a long way to go.”

She said she doesn’t recall the skit or the interview, even after listening to the tape. Ivey’s press secretary, Gina Maiola, told The Washington Post that Auburn University Libraries discovered the recording during its ongoing effort to digitize old audio. A university representative told the governor’s office on Tuesday evening, and Ivey listened to it on Wednesday morning.

“While some may attempt to excuse this as acceptable behavior for a college student during the mid-1960s, that is not who I am today, and it is not what my Administration represents all these years later,” said Ivey, who is now 74.

No, it’s not who you are today – back then you looked great, and were feminine. Now you’re a shriveled old short-haired granny trying to boss people around like a man.

It’s terrible what happens to women as they age. It’s real horror.

She should resign for being a racist.

If it wasn’t a big deal, she wouldn’t have apologized.

Do Jews hate niggers?

Big if true.

RT:

Comedian Sarah Silverman has admitted she was given the boot from an upcoming movie project after the producers found an old photograph of her wearing blackface.

During an appearance on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Silverman said she had been fired, the night before she was set to begin filming the movie, due to the photograph which had been taken from a sketch that was part of her 2007 comedy series.

Silverman criticized “cancel culture” and how easy it is for those in the public eye to have their careers destroyed over one mistake or one misspoken word which could be construed as offensive, a phenomenon which she dubbed “righteousness porn” and said is primarily driven by the left. “I think it’s really scary and it’s a very odd thing that it’s invaded the left primarily and the right will mimic it,” she said.

“It’s like, if you’re not on board, if you say the wrong thing, if you had a tweet once, everyone is, like, throwing the first stone… It’s so odd. It’s a perversion. It’s really, ‘Look how righteous I am and now I’m going to press refresh all day long to see how many likes I get in my righteousness.’”

Silverman had already apologized for the blackface incident multiple times, even as far back as 2015 when she called it her most “regrettable joke.” She also told GQ Magazine last year that she does not stand by it. “I’m horrified by it, and I can’t erase it. I can only be changed by it and move on,” she said at the time. She also told the magazine that it was “liberal-bubble stuff” where she “actually thought it was dealing with racism by using racism.”

Well.

She should be thankful that she’s Jewish.

Irish lass Megyn [sic] Kelly lost her entire career for just saying “what’s the deal with blackface?”

Silverman just loses one role.

This is one of the many benefits of being chosen by God.

If Jews didn’t want to suffer any consequences ever from anything at all, then they never should have invented Jewish outrage culture.

Funny that this kike was able to joke about killing Jesus and actually got praise for it.

And she gets taken down over blackface.

She is really one nasty kike, this one.

I’m not shocked to find she hates the poor niggers as well.

UPDATE:

There is some evidence Silverman is lying about this for Jewish reasons.

Orange kid also bad.

After the blackface scandal it was only a matter of time before orangeface was also labeled a crime.

Daily Mail:

A headmaster at a leading comprehensive has banned his pupils from using fake tan in an attempt make it ‘the best school in the county’.

Matthew Hardwick informed parents at the 1,300-pupil Ulverston Victoria High School in Cumbria that any unnaturally tanned students will be breaching uniform policy.

One 18-year-old pupil said: ‘Quite a lot of girls in the lower school are fairly orange. The school wanted them to tone it down a bit.’

…

Some parents have accused the school of potentially damaging girls’ self-esteem, particularly in an age where fake tans are so common on programmes like Love Island.

Gill Turner posted: ‘Lots of kids have total body confidence issues, if a bit of fake tan makes them feel better about themselves then surely this helps with concentration?’

Inevitably, another claimed: ‘What about a person’s human rights… Ridiculous‘

Yeah, what about a person’s human rights, huh?

Stock photo of “fairly orange” girls exercising their human rights.

Paying to fake something that you can get for free by exposing yourself to sunlight for 15-20 minutes every day is absurd.

And there is really only one man who can pull off the orange skin look.

Getting some sunlight on your skin is pretty important. We can’t measure all of of the effects of being under the sun, but we know that being under the sun was common for our ancestors because most of them didn’t work sitting in an office all day, and our ancestors were healthier than us and had more testosterone than us.

When I say they were healthy, I don’t mean they didn’t die of diseases that we can survive today. I mean that when they weren’t sick, they were healthier than we are when we’re not sick today.

Sunlight helps your body produce vitamin D, which is actually a hormone, and although it’s pretty accepted that you need it for bone health, people are starting to realize it may also influence more than we initially thought. Depending on where you live, you may not be able to regularly get sunlight on your skin. In those cases, a vitamin D supplement may help and is usually recommended, but you definitely also need to get your diet in order.

Aside from helping your body make vitamin D, sunlight is also linked to less depression, less anxiety, and to overall feeling better. It even influences your sleep patterns.

You need to go outside and get some nature in you.

Sun, air, green, trees. Breath them all in.

You’re not meant to waste away in a dark room.

Sometimes crossing a line is enough for normal people to see the insanity of it all. In this case, people tried to push against charcoal face masks arguing that it’s just another form of blackface, and normal people fought back.

Daily Mail:

Twitter users have been slammed after claiming charcoal face masks are racist – with the pampering products likened to ‘blacking up’.

Some argued it was racist to don the masks but faced a backlash from others who feel they are taking it too far.

…

The face masks are used to unblock pores and are black because of the charcoal component.

The evidently ridiculous claims triggered a response in normal people:

This is one of the reasons why you should consider having a shitlib twitter persona.

Taking some of these things to extremes allows normal people to see how insane it all is. This “charcoal face masks is just another form of blackface” thing was likely born as master trolling, and real shitlibs picked it up and rolled with it, which is exactly what you want to happen in order to show people who still have working neurons the ways in which clown world operates.

Once they see these extremes for what they are, they realize it’s not the extreme that is insane, but that the whole thing is insane.

Next time something like this blackface thing happens… you know what to do.

Push it to the limit.
