Two black males in Milwaukee walked up to the home of a white family, in a majority black neighborhood, and unleashed a hail of gunfire. A five year old white girl was murdered while sitting on her grandfather’s lap.

Milwaukee police say there is no question the shooters were deliberating trying to kill people inside the house. At least a dozen bullets were fired directly into the house. There may have been a third person driving a getaway car.

The house was located in a census tract that is 77% black and 14% white.

The Milwaukee Sentinel and Milwaukee channel 6 have actually been trying to downplay the murder. They are falsly reporting that it was “a stray bullet.” That directly contradicts all the evidence found by police.

If the races were reversed, this would be the biggest news story in the entire western world right now. Imagine for one second that two white males walked up to a black occupied home, in a mostly white neighborhood, and opened fire. Imagine a five year old black girl was murdered while sitting on her grandfather’s lap. There would weeks of national coverage. There would be documentaries. The story would be revisited by the national media over and over for the next ten years.

For decades, Midwestern black street gangs have used racially motivated violence against white people as gang initiations. The most common form is mob attacks on white college students. However, more and more gang initiations are targeting random white people for shootings. There have been numerous fatalities. Black on white hate crime violence is also surging due to media agitation over Ferguson. A panel on MSNBC even urged blacks to “make white people feel uncomfortable.” A statement that seemed to greenlight black on white hate crime violence.

Sadistic child killer Anwar Rosser has launched an appeal against his whole-life prison sentence.

Rosser’s legal team lodged the appeal with the Court of Appeal this week. A judge will decide in the next few weeks whether it goes to a full court hearing, or should be dismissed at the initial stage.

The 33-year-old psychopathic former soldier was sentenced to spend the rest of his life behind bars last month for the savage murder of four-year-old twin Riley Turner.

Riley was strangled and stabbed repeatedly while he slept in his bed at his family’s home in Harewood Road, Bracken Bank, Keighley, in January 2013.

Rosser pleaded guilty to the murder and was branded “an exceptionally dangerous man” who could kill another child, by the sentencing judge, Mr Justice Coulson.

The judge said the murder was a gross breach of trust of Riley’s family and he told Rosser he “must go to prison for life.

Rosser became only the 54th prisoner in the UK to be on a whole-life tariff, meaning they will remain in custody until they die.

Five of those – including Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe and Crossbow Cannibal Stephen Griffiths – are from the Bradford district, which now has one-tenth of all whole-life prisoners.

Councillor Keith Dredge (Lab, Keighley West) said the news was “a blow” and could lead to Riley’s family and the wider community “reliving the trauma.”

Coun Dredge, who was proactive in supporting the community after the tragic death, said the appeal could also lead to more expense for taxpayers.

He said: “The guy is legally entitled to appeal, but I have faith in the British justice system.”

Rosser’s legal team had urged the judge to take into consideration recent judicial debate on the legality of whole-life tariffs, and asked him to step back from imposing one.

The European Court of Human Rights last year ruled the sentences must be reviewed, and the Court of Appeal will decide at a later date whether they should remain legal, though the Government insists whole-life tariffs are “wholly justified in the most heinous cases.”

Rosser is represented by Chambers Solicitors of Bradford. No-one was available for comment yesterday.

The Court Of Appeal confirmed Rosser had lodged an appeal against sentence.

A 23-year-old Reno man has been convicted of murder in the beating death of his girlfriend’s toddler.

Donald Jackson faces up to life in prison after a Washoe District Court jury returned guilty verdicts Thursday on charges of first-degree murder and child abuse.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Dan Greco says Jackson beat 1-year-old Jayden Marion while babysitting with his mother at work in the months leading up to his death in August 2012. Autopsy records show he suffered blunt force trauma so hard it severed part of his liver and lacerated his spleen.

His grandfather, Virgil Thompson, told the Reno Gazette-Journal the family feels that justice has been served but is saddened that it won’t do anything to bring Jayden back.

Judge Scott Freeman set sentencing for Dec. 23.

The bodies of a mother and her three children were found slain inside their Parsons home Tuesday, and a suspect has been captured after a manhunt for him, authorities said.

David Cornell Bennett Jr., 22, of Cherryvale, KS, was taken into custody just before 10 p.m. Tuesday in Independence, KS.

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office provided no details of his arrest. No charges have been filed yet.

Cami Umbarger, 29, and her children were found inside the residence on 25th Street between Clark and Stevens avenues. The children were identified as 9-year-old-Hollie Betts, 6-year-old Jaxon Betts and 4-year-old Averie Betts.

Bennett was spotted earlier Tuesday in the Independence, KS, area, according to that city’s police department. The school district was made aware, but no schools were placed on lockdown, a district spokeswoman said.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said there was a confirmed sighting of Bennett at 12:45 p.m. at 3176 W. Main St. in Independence.

The district and other law enforcement agencies were instructed by the attorney general’s office to release few details on the search for Bennett. KCTV5 viewers reported that the Walmart in Independence, KS, was placed on lockdown because Bennett was reported in the area.

A spokesman for the Kansas Attorney General’s Office refused to say what had unfolded at that store.

“I cannot comment on elements of an active investigation,” Don Brown wrote in an email.

A manager for Walmart said at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, customers were free to come and go from the store but referred questions about what had unfolded earlier in the day to corporate headquarters.

Umbarger’s co-workers at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home said they became alarmed when she failed to show up for work on Monday morning. She was a nurse at the facility.

After co-workers called police, officers made the grisly discovery. The nursing home was just two miles from the family’s home.

A friend of Umbarger’s said that she met Bennett in a bar in Independence, KS.

The three children attended Parsons public schools, where counselors and staff worked to comfort children before the Thanksgiving break.

“We are doing our very best to continue school as usual for the students,” said Superintendent Shelly Martin. “We have extra staff on hand, extra counselors and substitutes available to work with staff and students as needed.”

A man charged in the April murder of his girlfriend’s 10-year-old son pleaded guilty to murder in court Thursday.

Eugene W. Mays, 39, pleaded guilty to first degree murder in Cabarrus County court, and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Mays was arrested in April after investigators found 10-year-old Mark Ethan Alexander Stewart, and his 32-year-old mother, Christi Melisha Stewart, during a welfare check at a home on South Ridge Avenue the night before.

The 10-year-old was dead. His mother was injured, and was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast for treatment, officials said.

Mays was located along Forbes Road in Gastonia around 2 a.m. the next day. He was arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants for unrelated charges and later charged with first degree murder in Mark Stewart’s death.

According to the coroner’s report in court Thursday, the 10-year-old endured 63 injuries.

Prosecutors say the boy suffered 11 stab wounds, 25 cutting wounds and 27 blunt force trauma injuries.

They said they believe the child was attempting to stop the violent attack against his mother.
