U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday rescinded sanctions imposed by the former Biden administration on far-right Israeli settler groups and individuals accused of being involved in violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, the new White House website said.

The website said Trump rescinded Executive Order 14115 issued on Feb. 1, 2024, which authorized the imposition of certain sanctions “on Persons Undermining Peace,Security, and Stability in the West Bank.”

Trump’s decision is a reversal of a major policy action by former President Joe Biden’s administration which had slapped sanctions on numerous Israeli settler individuals and entities, freezing their U.S. assets and generally barring Americans from dealing with them.

As much of the world’s attention has focused on the war in Gaza, growing violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank and land grabs in the occupied territory have raised concern among some of Israel’s Western allies.

U.S. sanctions on settlers landed after the Biden administration repeatedly urged the Israeli government to take action to hold extremists to account for actions that Washington believes set back hopes for a two-state solution between Israelis and Palestinians.

Since the 1967 Middle East war, Israel has occupied the West Bank of the Jordan River, which Palestinians want as the core of an independent state. It has built Jewish settlements there that most countries deem illegal. Israel disputes this and cites historical and Biblical ties to the land.

Trump’s approach to settlements was significantly different. During his first term in 2019, Trump had abandoned the long-held U.S. position that the settlements are illegal before it was restored by Biden.

The sanctions didn’t even matter. They were a weird “symbolic gesture.” Joe Biden wouldn’t ever have done anything that would be against the will of the Jewish people.

But it is also a “symbolic gesture” for the US to officially signal approval of the genocidal Jew lunatics in the West Bank (even though they are really no different in any way other than branding from the IDF itself).

But hey, the J6ers are free and all foreign aid has been ended (except, presumably, that which goes to Israel).

Trump will take the oath of office and officially be sworn in as the 47th US president on January 20 at the Capitol in Washington, DC. The Israeli leader had previously been expected to attend the event.

Netanyahu’s senior aide did not elaborate on why the trip was cancelled. However, some media reports cited the Israeli prime minister’s recent prostate surgery, claiming Netanyahu had been advised to rest following the procedure.

The now-cancelled trip to Washington would have been Netanyahu’s first trip abroad since an arrest warrant against him and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in November. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.

Yeah, it could be the prostate. That’s a reasonable enough excuse.

But it’s hard not to note that Trump recently made headlines for posting a Jeffrey Sachs video calling Bibi a “deep, dark sonovabitch.”

Clearly, Trump posting this video does not erase the fact that he appointed Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth to top positions in his administration. He has a very neocon administration, thus far.

Furthermore, Trump was allowed to take office. The same machine that hoaxed the 2020 election easily could have prevented him from winning in 2024. It’s important to remember that.

However, while we should always be skeptical, we should hope for the best, and any kind of conflict between Trump and Bibi is most definitely for the best.

Donald Trump has shared inflammatory video content calling Benjamin Netanyahu a “deep, dark son of a bitch” just weeks after the Israeli leader claimed the two had a “very friendly, warm” discussion about hostage negotiations and Syria policy.

The president-elect posted the clip to Truth Social featuring economist Jeffrey Sachs, who accuses Netanyahu of manipulating US foreign policy and orchestrating “endless wars” in the Middle East.

In the video, Sachs – talking at a Cambridge Union event – claims Netanyahu has pursued a systematic strategy since 1995 to eliminate Hamas and Hezbollah by targeting their supporting governments in Iraq, Iran and Syria.

“[Netanyahu’s] gotten us into endless wars and because of the power of all of this in US politics, he’s gotten his way,” Sachs says in the interview, referring to the influence of pro-Israel lobbying groups.

Trump’s aim in promoting the video was not immediately clear.

Sachs told the Guardian that while he was not advising Trump, he hoped it signaled a shift in US foreign policy.

“I do not know Trump’s disposition on these issues, but I do very much hope that he frees US foreign policy from the grip of the cruel, ineffective, illegal and destructive policies of Netanyahu,” he said.

Jeffrey Sachs is one of the only good mainstream voices on these issues.

Of course, he’s been forced out of the mainstream.

But the All-In Podcast hosted him at their summit last year.

All-In is the official voice of Silicon Valley, and therefore the voice of the agenda to replace Americans with Indian H-1B workers. They are big on this issue. But they also do appear to be genuinely opposed to the wars, which could mean something good.

Nothing is really clear yet. I’m the most skeptical about the possibility of Trump doing really anything at all, but I’m also the most hopeful.

Frankly, I would have had no hope Trump would do anything to push back on Netanyahu, and I still don’t really have hope there, but it’s quite interesting he reposted this video.

It’s very simple: Jews are allowed to murder all of these innocent people because

The number of people killed in Gaza is significantly higher than the figure reported by authorities in the enclave, a peer-reviewed study by researchers from a leading health research university in the UK has found.

According to findings announced by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and published in The Lancet journal, there were an estimated 64,260 “traumatic injury deaths” in Gaza between October 7, 2023 and June 30, 2024. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza put the figure at 37,877 at the time.

This means the ministry has underreported the death toll due to violence by approximately 41%, the researchers found. As of October, the number of Gazans killed by violence was thought to exceed 70,000, the study said, based on the estimated underreporting rate.

The total death toll attributable to Israel’s military campaign is likely to be higher still, it said, as its analysis doesn’t account for deaths caused by disruption to health care, insufficient food, clean water and sanitation, and disease outbreaks.

The health ministry’s figure stood at 45,885 on January 7. A further 109,196 have been injured. In general, the ministry reaches its figures by counting the corpses of those killed.

LSHTM said the findings suggest that around 3% of the enclave’s population has died due to violence, 59% of whom were women, children, and the elderly.

The scale of the devastation caused by a lack of water may likely never be fully understood, HRW warned, due to the decimation of Gaza’s health care system including disease tracking.

HRW and Amnesty International have both accused Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, which Israel strongly denies. Israel has also been taken to the UN’s top court, the International Court of Justice, on allegations of genocide.

Earlier this week, a Palestinian newborn died from hypothermia in Gaza, bringing the total number of babies killed by low temperatures and a lack of access to warm shelters in recent weeks to at least six.

Eight people in total have died of hypothermia, according to health officials in the enclave, including a 2-year-old toddler and a nurse.

Israel is only murdering all of these babies because they are homophobic. Gay sex is the values of the chosen people, and it is also our values, and that is why we must send them infinity bombs forever to help them kill these homophobic children.

We will use lethal force to protect gays from everyone, including babies, because that’s who we are in a democracy.

Israel has a lot of internal problems that don’t really get discussed much in America.

This is in contrast to Israel’s American problems, of which they have none. Israel has a complete and total lockdown on the US government and thus the entire US population. This is not true of the Israeli population, some of whom are beginning to become outraged.

The Israel Defence Forces have issued more than eleven hundred arrest warrants to ultra-Orthodox Jews who have ignored draft orders, a senior army officer told Knesset members on Wednesday.

The Times of Israel has reported that the head of the IDF’s Personnel Directorate’s Planning and Personnel Management Division explained that the army issued 3,000 draft orders to members of the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community over the summer, but many of them did not show up.

“Of the 3,000 ultra-Orthodox who received [draft] orders,” General Shay Taib told members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, “1,126 were issued with arrest warrants for those who did not report to the first and second orders. After that, they will receive a call for immediate recruitment, and anyone who does not come [to the induction centre] will be declared a [draft dodger].”

In Israel, draft dodgers receive a “no exit order” banning them from leaving the country and they face being arrested.

The Israeli Military Police do not plan to actually carry out arrests of those who do not show up to the induction centres, but instead wait until they are declared draft dodgers and leave it to law enforcement officers.

The army said that it needs 10,000 new soldiers for combat operations, but would not be able to recruit more than 3,000 ultra-Orthodox soldiers this year due to their “additional needs”.

Why does Israel only need 10,000 soldiers if they are fighting a seven nation army (like the White Stripes song)?

Are they planning for some other country’s military to come fight for them?

Israeli far-right protesters have broken into an army base in a show of support for soldiers accused of severely mistreating a Palestinian prisoner there.

Large crowds gathered outside the Sde Teiman compound after Israeli military police entered it to detain the reservists, who are now subject to an official investigation.

Sde Teiman near Beersheba in southern Israel has for months been at the centre of reports of serious abuses against Gazan detainees.

On Monday dozens of protesters, including far-right MPs from Israel’s governing coalition, burst through the base’s gate as others tried to scale the fence, chanting “we will not abandon our friends, certainly not for terrorists”.

Some soldiers at the base reportedly used pepper spray against the military police personnel who arrived to detain the reservists.

Demonstrators also entered the Beit Lid military base in central Israel where the accused reservists have been taken for questioning.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement strongly condemning the break-in and calling for “an immediate calming of passions”.

According to local media reports, at least nine Israeli soldiers at the base are accused of abusing the Palestinian detainee, a suspected Hamas fighter who was captured in Gaza.

He is said to have been hospitalised after what Israeli media reports describe as serious sexual abuse and injuries to his anus that left him unable to walk.

Yikes.

The Israeli military said its advocate general had ordered an inquiry “following suspected substantial abuse of a detainee”.

Since the 7 October Hamas attack, Israeli authorities have rounded up and held thousands of Palestinians, often without legal representation.

The BBC has previously spoken to medical workers at a field hospital set up in Sde Teiman, who alleged that detainees have been blindfolded, permanently shackled to their beds, and made to wear nappies rather than having access to a toilet.

Last month, Israel’s Haaretz newspaper published allegations made by a doctor at Sde Teiman that leg amputations had been carried out on two prisoners, because of cuffing injuries. The BBC has not independently verified the claims.

This torture base is a bit of a red herring.

There are torture bases everywhere, and the Jews are mass slaughtering children.

The protesters are actually right in saying “we do this everywhere, what difference does it make???”

But the Jews have become aware that they have very bad optics internationally, and so they’re acting like they have some kind of rules about torture.

The Jews are suffering combat losses they never expected in Gaza.

I have argued that Bibi was aware of the fact Hamas couldn’t be defeated, as it seems impossible he wasn’t aware of that, but it also appears that the Jews didn’t expect to take serious casualties.

Forcing the orthodox – who don’t even believe in the legitimacy of the Israeli state – into the military is a move that could cause some serious waves.

Israel’s Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that the state must begin drafting ultra-Orthodox Jewish seminary into the military, a decree with the potential to divide Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s governing coalition.

Netanyahu’s government relies on two ultra-Orthodox parties that regard conscription exemptions as key to keeping their constituents in religious seminaries and away from a melting-pot military that might test their conservative customs.

It’s really more complicated than that.

At least a good number of the Orthodox do not accept that the “Jewish state” is a legitimate entity, and would in theory have no problem living under a Hamas-run state. I don’t think they’re sympathetic to Hamas, they just don’t care. They would be doing the same thing they are doing now, and Hamas wouldn’t stop them. These people lived in Islamic countries since forever. They are not political, they just want to read their books and do chants and torture chickens and molest boys. (Hamas would take issue with the gay molestation stuff, but this is very secretive and Hamas would keep distance from these people and just tell them to pay their taxes and stay in their ghettoes.)

It’s a whole long story, but there’s a reason they were exempt this whole time and it’s not related to the Israeli government being polite. It was their assumption that forcing them into the military would cause a lot more problems than it would solve.

Unless of course you don’t have any options because you don’t have any soldiers. But what are these Orthodox going to do in the military?

Leaders of those parties said they were disappointed with the ruling but issued no immediate threat to the government.

However, the prospect of the military, backed by Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, starting to draft the seminary students could widen cracks in Netanyahu’s increasingly brittle coalition.

The ultra-Orthodox conscription waiver has become especially charged as Israel’s armed forces are overstretched by a multi-front war with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Wait, so are we now officially referring to Lebanon as a front in a war?

I didn’t think that was official yet.

“At the height of a difficult war, the burden of inequality is more than ever acute,” the court’s unanimous ruling said.

Most Jewish Israelis are bound by law to serve in the military from the age of 18, for three years for men and two years for women. Members of Israel’s 21 percent Arab minority are exempt, though some do serve, and ultra-Orthodox Jewish seminary students have also been largely exempt for decades.

Don’t quote me, but I think this goes back to Ben-Gurion. I think it was always assumed by all Israeli governments that forcing the Orthodox to serve would create problems.

The law governing the exemption for seminary students expired last year, but the government continued to allow them not to serve. The Supreme Court ruled that in the absence of a new legal basis for the exemption, the state must draft them. The ruling also barred seminaries from receiving state subsidies if scholars avoid service without deferrals or exemptions.

With a new law on the issue now being discussed in parliament, Education Minister Yoav Kisch, of Netanyahu’s Likud Party, voiced hope agreement could be reached on a compromise.

“Not in a civil war, not in a fight that will tear apart Israeli society in the middle of a tough war. It’s possible to do it together,” Kisch said.

But that is actually what they are risking here – some kind of civil war, while they are already in a war.

While the military has said it is in dire need of more conscripts, ultra-Orthodox leaders see the exemptions as existential for preserving their traditions.

“There’s no judge there who understands the value of Torah study and its contribution to the people of Israel throughout the generations,” said ultra-Orthodox lawmaker Moshe Gafni, who heads the powerful parliamentary Finance Committee, referring to study of Judaism’s holy books.

Opposition parties welcomed the ruling.

“There’s nothing Jewish about dodging military service,” said opposition lawmaker and former defence minister Avigdor Lieberman.

The long-standing military waiver for the ultra-Orthodox has sparked protests in recent months by Israelis angry that they are shouldering the risk of fighting the war in Gaza. In city streets, ultra-Orthodox demonstrators have blocked roads under the banner “death before conscription.”

That sounds like civil war talk to me.

The waivers also have wider economic impact. The ultra-Orthodox make up 13% of Israel’s 10 million population, a figure expected to reach 19% by 2035 due to their high birth rates.

The conscription waiver keeps some of the community in seminaries and out of the workforce, hindering economic growth and placing a welfare burden on middle-class taxpayers.

Yeah, okay.

Well, the establishment of Israel meant that all of these Orthodox that were living in other Islamic countries had to move to Israel, because even though they weren’t really causing serious problems in Islamic countries, after Israel was created Jews were just getting attacked in the streets.

Most of them didn’t even want to move to Israel.

There are different kinds of Orthodox, and what I’m saying here doesn’t necessarily apply to all of them, but it definitely applies to some.

It’s a lot more complicated than most antisemites understand, and antisemites understand Jews a lot better than any other group of non-Jews.

The case before the world court is expected to go on for years, but a ruling on interim steps could come within weeks. Court rulings are binding but difficult to enforce. Netanyahu made clear that Israel would ignore orders to halt the fighting, potentially deepening its isolation.

Israel has been under growing international pressure to end the war, which has killed more than 23,000 Palestinians in Gaza and led to widespread suffering in the besieged enclave, but has so far been shielded by U.S. diplomatic and military support.

Thousands took to the streets of Washington, London, Paris, Rome, Milan and Dublin on Saturday to demand an end to the war. Protesters converging on the White House held aloft signs questioning President Joe Biden’s viability as a presidential candidate because of his staunch support for Israel during the war.

Obviously, the Hamas attack was a legitimate military operation, whereas what Israel is doing is simply mass murder.

I think that is obvious to everyone.

It’s unclear how Jews are planning to function in a world where they are feared and hated, more or less universally.

Aside from some portion of Fatmericans, I don’t think anyone supports Israel, on the whole earth, after this Gaza thing, and I don’t think anyone is going to forget this in the next several hundred years.

What I will tell you: the hostage release has been a total disaster for Bibi, because the hostages were all well-treated, and now they’re saying they thought Bibi was going to kill them.

Bibi is going to kill the rest of the hostages. He has no reason not to, given how this first exchange went. That’s why they’re now talking about flooding the tunnels (where all the hostages are).

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced harsh criticism from freed hostages and relatives of those still being held captive by Hamas during a war cabinet meeting, according to leaked audio of the heated event.

Recordings from Tuesday’s meeting revealed that the freed hostages had felt abandoned by their government during their weeks of captivity in Gaza, with several people shouting “Shame!” at Netanyahu while one woman accused Israel of conducting airstrikes near the place she and others were being held.

“The feeling we had there was that no one was doing anything for us,” the former hostage, who was not identified, told Netanyahu in audio acquired by the Israeli outlet ynet.

“The fact is that I was in a hiding place that was shelled, and we had to be smuggled out and we were wounded,” she added. “That’s besides the helicopter that shot at us on the way to Gaza.”

The woman went on to blast Israel’s intelligence network, alleging that the government had “no information” at all about the hostages’ location given that their holding place was shelled during the IDF’s bombardments in northern Gaza.

The former hostage, whose husband remains in captivity, also accused Netanyahu and the government of abandoning the male captives in Gaza, saying they are suffering just as much as the women, the bulk of whom have been freed.

Other former hostages echoed the hardships they experienced under Hamas and the fear of the ongoing airstrikes in Gaza, which have destroyed and damaged about 60% of the Palestinian enclave’s buildings and infrastructure.

“We were in tunnels, terrified that it would not be Hamas, but Israel, that would kill us, and then they would say Hamas killed you,” one Kibbutz Nir Oz resident who was freed told the war cabinet.

The fact that Bibi is going all-in on this rape hoax gibberish shows that he’s well aware that this is spinning out of control.

The most obvious thing he can do is just start bombing Iran right now.

That’s more or less the only way he can save his position.

Israelis are weird people, but they’re not so stupid as to not understand that Bibi is choosing to slaughter babies instead of freeing hostages, and that his current course is going to mean that the remaining hostages all die.

Turkey has a modern, serious military.

They could roll through Israel like it was nothing if they wanted to.

Of course, the US would have to intervene to protect Israel, and at that point, everyone would be involved, including even Egypt and Saudi.

It’s possible that Erdogan will conclude this is a good idea. He’s old enough at this point that he could start making bold moves. He could go down in history as the man who liberated Palestine, and this would allow him, instead of Saudi or Iran, to establish his own framework for the Middle East, which is based on the Ottoman dream.

Probably won’t happen. Don’t want to get people’s hopes up here. But it could happen.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would eventually be tried as a war criminal over Israel’s ongoing offensive in the Gaza Strip, while slamming Western countries supporting Israel.

Turkey, which supports a two-state solution to the decades-old conflict, has sharply criticised Israel over its campaign in Gaza, launched in response to militant group Hamas’ rampage on Oct. 7. More than 15,500 people have been killed in the Israeli air and ground attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry.

In a speech to an Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) committee meeting in Istanbul, Erdogan said the Western nations supporting Israel were giving it “unconditional support to kill babies” and were complicit in its crimes.

“Beyond being a war criminal, Netanyahu, who is the butcher of Gaza right now, will be tried as the butcher of Gaza, just as Milosevic was tried,” Erdogan said, in reference to Yugoslav ex-President Slobodan Milosevic who was tried for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes at a tribunal in The Hague.

“Those who try to skip over the deaths of all those innocent people by using the excuse of Hamas have nothing left to say to humanity,” he added, referring to Western powers, which he said were “blind and deaf”.

Unlike most of its Western allies and some Gulf states, NATO member Turkey does not view Hamas as a terrorist group and hosts some of its members.

This is definitely a lot worse than anything Idi Amin was even accused of doing (he didn’t really do most of the stuff he was accused of). It’s worse than anything anyone ever did, actually.

This is just an ongoing mass murder of children, and the Jews are not even really trying to hide the fact that the children are the target.

They will say “oh yeah, there was a Hamas base inside that kindergarten,” but it’s really. low-effort.
