Russian President Vladimir Putin had talks with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Iran on Tuesday, the Kremlin leader’s first trip outside the former Soviet Union since Moscow’s Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine.

In Tehran, Putin also held his first face-to-face meeting since the invasion with a NATO leader, Turkey’s Tayyip Erdogan, to discuss a deal that would resume Ukraine’s Black Sea grain exports as well as the conflict in northern Syria.

Putin’s trip, coming just days after U.S. President Joe Biden visited Israel and Saudi Arabia, sends a strong message to the West about Moscow’s plans to forge closer strategic ties with Iran, China and India in the face of Western sanctions.

Khamenei called for long-term cooperation between Iran and Russia, telling Putin that the two countries needed to stay vigilant against “Western deception”, Iran’s state TV reported.

He said Putin had ensured Russia “maintained its independence” from the United States and that countries should start using their own national currencies when trading goods.

“The U.S. dollar should be gradually taken off global trade, and this can be done gradually,” Khamenei said during the meeting, in a spartan white room with an Iranian flag and a portrait of late revolutionary leader Ayatollah Khomeini.

Putin, Erdogan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi also weighed efforts to reduce violence in Syria, where Turkey has threatened to launch more military operations to extend 30-km (20-mile) deep “safe zones” along the border. Moscow and Tehran oppose any such action by Turkey.

“Maintaining the territorial integrity of Syria is very important, and any military attack in northern Syria will definitely harm Turkey, Syria and the entire region, and benefit terrorists,” Khamenei told Erdogan before the three-way meeting.

Russia and Iran are Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s strongest backers, while Turkey supports anti-Assad insurgents.

Any Turkish operation in Syria would attack the Kurdish YPG militia, a key part of the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) that controls large parts of north Syria and is regarded by Washington as an important ally against Islamic State militants.

“It is impossible to expect Turkey to remain inactive, unresponsive, as this terrorist organisation continues its separatist agenda,” Erdogan said, referring to the YPG.

“I hear from you, my dear friends, that you understand Turkey’s legitimate security concerns. I am thankful for this, but words alone are not a cure for wounds.”

Speaking at the end of the talks, Putin said the three presidents agreed to continue consultation on Syria and were committed to maintain efforts to “normalise” the situation there after a decade of conflict.

Putin, who turns 70 this year, has made few foreign trips in recent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then the Ukraine crisis. His last trip beyond the former Soviet Union was to China in February.

Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the United Nations are expected to sign a deal later this week aimed at resuming the shipping of grain from Ukraine across the Black Sea.

Members of Iran’s ruling establishment took turns Thursday assigning blame for what they regard as an embarrassing outbreak of protests this week in more than 80 cities across the country.

Iran’s chief prosecutor elaborated on the government’s claims that the United States and other foreign enemies were responsible for stirring up the violent protests. The United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia planned the “riots,” the prosecutor, Mohammad Jafar Montazeri, said on state television, in an effort to “subvert the Iranian government.”

“The U.S., the Zionist regime and the Al Sauds were the three sides of this subversive plan, and Saudi Arabia committed to provide money for it,” Montazeri said.

Montazeri asserted that Michael D’Andrea, a CIA officer who runs Iran operations, was a “main designer” of the protests and that the CIA hoped to turn the protest into an “armed” revolt by mid-February, the anniversary of the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution. Jews hate Iran – the most civilized and culturally sophisticated Muslim country on earth – because their political establishment names the Jew and exposes its international machinations without any sugarcoating. Iran’s Supreme Leader has claimed gender equality is a “Zionist plot” aiming to corrupt the role of women in society.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told a meeting of religious speakers that Iranians should resist feminist ideas and instead hold the Prophet Mohamed’s daughter Fatimah as their ideal.

“Making women a commodity and an object of gratification in the Western world is most likely among Zionist plots aiming to destroy the society,” he said, according to a translation on the Shia Muslim leader’s official website.

Khamenei claimed that men and women are equal in the “ascendance of spiritual positions, the power of leadership, and the capability to lead humankind”, but that some tasks for women “collapse and humiliate” their primary roles as housewives and mothers.

As we speak, Jews are looking to incite young middle class women who watch American TV and movies in Iran to slowly chip away at their country’s norms. Right now international Jews like Facebook’s Cheryl Sandberg are encouraging Iranian women to use the social media platform to break the law, in stark contrast to Facebook’s rush to oblige the German state to censor free political speech.

I like Trump, but that doesn’t mean he’s perfect. What confusing to me is that Trump’s actual foreign policy goals in relation to Iran are far more moderate and friendly than Obama (promising to stop American support for Jihadists that primarily target Iran and its allies, re-establishing relations with Iranian ally Russia), but Trump’s rhetoric needlessly demonizes a nation that is far more a natural ally to the West than either Saudi Arabia or Israel. With a lot of oil, modern and varied economy, and a large educated population, there is a lot of potential for both fair trade and anti-terrorist cooperation between the American and Iranian people.

Trump probably feels he needs to take this posture so that the (((feral vermin))) who already have him on their shit-list won’t transfer him to the hit-list. It’s still bad in the long-run, and something that needs to be cut out sooner rather than later.

The Iranians apparently also got mixed signals, and indeed tested a ballistic missile to flex their bicep (even if they are now saying different) against a seemingly hostile new administration. The only reason America in the Israeli-run Bush or Obama governments did not invade Iran is that Iranians have both the means and will to win. That’s why Jews begrudgingly allowed Obama’s people to negotiate with them to at least slow down their nuclear capabilities.

Now, Iran is realizing that Trump might actually be a step towards a degree of de-Judaization of the United States governing apparatus, which the Iranians perceive as the first step towards normalizing relations with the US. In light of this, Iran is officially appealing to Trump as a non-belligerent.

Iran said on Monday a recent missile trial launch was not intended to send a message to new U.S. President Donald Trump and to test him, since after a series of policy statements Iranian officials already “know him quite well”.

Iran test-fired a new ballistic missile last week, prompting Washington to impose some new sanctions on Tehran. Trump tweeted that Tehran, which has cut back its nuclear program under a 2015 deal with world powers easing economic sanctions, was “playing with fire”.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi was quoted by Tasnim news agency as saying: “Iran’s missile test was not a message to the new U.S. government.

“There is no need to test Mr Trump as we have heard his views on different issues in recent days… We know him quite well.”

Iran has test-fired several ballistic missiles since the 2015 deal, but the latest test on January 29 was the first since Trump entered the White House. Trump said during his election campaign that he would stop Iran’s missile program.

Qasemi said The U.S. government was “still in an unstable stage” and Trump’s comments were “contradictory”.

“We are waiting to see how the U.S. government will act in different international issues to evaluate their approach.”

It’s amusing how Trump is going back on promises – not the ones he made to the American people, but the ones he made to the Zionists at AIPAC!
