A convicted rapist from Guadeloupe has been handed a 20-year prison sentence for the attempted rape of a 102-year-old resident of a nursing home in the French city of Rouen.

On Wednesday, the Seine-Maritime Assize Court found 39-year-old Laury Jean-Baptiste guilty of the offense, which occurred on Feb. 17, 2023 in the Sapins district of the city.

The court heard how the elderly victim had been found in an adjacent room to her own in the early hours of the morning in shock and with scratches on her forearms, face, and lower abdomen.

She told carers that a man had attempted to rape her while she lay in bed but she had managed to resist and cause him to panic and flee.

Sadly, the victim passed away less than a month after the attack.

Up until his trial, the suspect denied the attempted rape charge, initially claiming to have been at his former girlfriend’s house on the night of the attack, before later changing his story to accepting his presence at the home but insisting he was simply trying to find a place to store his belongings.

His story changed further still this week in court, telling the judge: “I confused the lady with my 58-year-old lover that I had already come to see at night — a secret relationship.

Speaking about the encounter, he added, “I lay down next to her. I caressed her. She was afraid, I was panicked. I left without brutality. I like it when relationships are sensual. I was not erect, my penis was not in the mood.”

Jean-Baptiste has a previous record in his home country having been convicted of raping a 50-year-old victim in similar circumstances at her home in Guadeloupe back in 2010.

A psychiatric report provided to the court found no psychiatric disorders but a significant criminological dangerousness within the suspect who was described as “perverse.” The expert added that the suspect has “below-average intelligence.”

He told the court he endured a difficult upbringing, claiming that his mother had been particularly violent and practiced witchcraft with animal carcasses.

Yeah, well.

A 22-year-old man is accused of hitting, biting and trying to sexually assault a 63-year-old Uber driver — and then stealing her car — early Monday near downtown Colorado Springs, police said.

Raydrian Tyree Scott was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of attempted sexual assault, second-degree assault, robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft and failure to register as a sex offender, police said. He was in possession of the victim’s white 2011 Chevrolet Cruze.

The driver picked up a man in the 500 block of East Dale Street, where he assaulted her, “causing significant injuries,” police said. When she got out of her car, the man allegedly took it and fled.

Police responded about 4:30 a.m., and the woman was taken to a hospital.

The woman, identified only by her first name, Lorraine, told Gazette news partner KKTV that she fought back.

A man who beat a pregnant woman and tried to rape her will be heading to a mental health facility instead of prison.

On Tuesday, a court found that Smith committed felony assault and attempted rape. Those charges would carry a maximum penalty of 16 years in prison.

But the court also found Tuesday that Smith is mentally ill. He will instead be committed to Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare Hospital.

The victim, who was nine months pregnant at the time of the attack, said she was walking her dog when Smith attacked her. The victim said Smith attempted to rape her and when she fought back, Smith hit her over and over in the face.

The victim was beaten so severely she had to be hospitalized.

Improvising burglar’s tools and granny assaulting are specialties of Blacks.

About 4:30 a.m., Rahway police responded to the first incident in which a homeowner reported hearing a noise inside the house. The homeowner exited his bedroom and spotted a stranger in the hallway who immediately fled.

A preliminary investigation indicates the suspect had apparently forced entry through a second-story window.

Just minutes later, police responded to another home where residents reported being awakened by a noise outside. As they went to investigate, the homeowners spotted a stranger trying to enter the home through a rear sliding glass door. As they yelled to the man, he ran off, officials said.

Then, just before 5 a.m., police responded to an East Hazelwood Avenue home where a 67-year-old woman said she had been asleep on a sofa when she awakened by a unknown man on top of her. The man had apparently entered the home through a rear door.

Monahan said the woman was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a medium complexion and a medium build, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and pants.

A Cincinnati man is in jail facing charges after police say he attacked a pregnant woman and tried to rape her, but the woman fought back.

The woman who survived the attack said she is suffering a fractured nose along with bruising and swelling to her face.

The incident reportedly happened on Friday, June 22 around 11 a.m. The woman, who shared photos of her injuries, but asked FOX19 NOW not to use her name, said she was walking her dog on Riverside in the East End when it occurred.

The nine-months-pregnant woman noticed a man, who police now identify as 27-year-old Anthony Smith, coming down Collins. She said something about his behavior made her uneasy, so she crossed the street attempting to put distance between them, but Smith followed her.

The woman reported that she then headed towards the LeBlond Center pool where people were swimming. Smith, she said, continued to follow her.

At one point, the woman said she turned and yelled at Smith, saying things like “stay away from us,” but Smith still did not stop. The woman, in a panic, took off running, until she said she felt Smith tackle her to the ground and try to pull up her shirt and pull down her pants, all while mumbling “it’s okay, let me do this.”

With all her strength, she told police she fought back, screaming and hitting Smith. Smith, police said, then started punching and hitting her.

A group of people at the pool heard the commotion and rushed over to help. Three men, the woman said, held Smith down, while others tended to her and called 911. In the meantime, the woman’s dog reportedly ran home, potentially seeking help.

On top of bringing drugs, crime, and being rapists, spics are also really creepy.

Police say the woman was sleeping at her residence in the 1300 block of Division Street when the man entered her home through an unlocked garage door. This happened May 29, at about 5:40 a.m.

“The person was touching her, woke her up,” said Commander Jim Runge, Green Bay Police Department. “And she yelled at the person, screamed at him, then she got him to leave the house. And she actually pursued him for a little ways.”

Police says the suspect is described as possibly Hispanic. He has shoulder length puffy, curly hair and a scar underneath his eye. The victim describes him possibly being 5’6″-5′-8″, 140 pounds with a medium build.

The amount of times I’ve written that headline – or a similar one – is pretty staggering.

A math teacher at the Codman Academy Charter Public School in Dorchester has been accused of trying to rape a teenager.

Alfred Johnson was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery and two counts of assault with intent to rape a child.

Police said Johnson met a 15-year-old boy at the Southern Baptist Church last December and befriended him.

At one point, the boy detailed to police that Johnson took him to the Academy and showed him pornography on his laptop.

Johnson had also tried, at least once, to force the boy to perform a sex act.

Biloxi police said Friday they’re searching for 30-year-old Alexander O’Neil Stewart, of Gautier. Biloxi Police Maj. Chris De Back said the man is believed to be homeless and they’re asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect.

De Back said the Biloxi Municipal Court issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for simple assault.

About 3:40 a.m. March 24 police responded to the second floor of the casino’s parking garage to investigate an assault.

De Back said the victim, a woman in her 20s, left the casino elevators and was walking toward her vehicle when she passed two men.

De Back said one of the men made comments to the woman, but “when she refused his advances he followed her to her car and struck her in the face multiple times.”

Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a registered sex offender suspected of aggravated assault and the attempted sexual assault of a child in Swissvale, police said Thursday.

Clayton Sudduth, 28, is accused of trying to sexually assault the 6-year-old daughter of a woman who he bludgeoned with a frying pan, according to Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers.

The 28-year-old woman suffered severe head trauma and a brain concussion, police said.

But can you really blame this colored gentleman, after Trayvon and everything else?

A woman who is recovering after being attacked by a man who broke into her Santa Monica apartment last week has shared videos recounting the incident from her hospital bed.

Leigh Collins woke up in the middle of the night on Feb. 23 to find an unknown man in her Fifth Street residence, according to both the victim and Santa Monica police.

“He held me at knifepoint and wanted money. I gave him money and he attempted to rape me,” she said in a video update she shared after being released from surgery.

Her attacker forced his way into the ground-floor apartment through a window while she was asleep. The neighborhood, on Fifth Street just north of the 10 Freeway, is a popular tourist and pedestrian destination near many shops, hotels and other businesses.

Collins was stabbed several times in the forehead and arms and suffered a black eye. She also says parts of some of her fingers were cut off; as a graphic designer, the injuries mean she will be out of work for some time.
