The authors of these anthropology articles should really stop using pictures of Prince Harry’s wife to represent Neanderthals. It’s unnecessarily mean.

I don’t really know that I believe any of this at all.

But it’s a funny story.

The Guardian:

It took three separate waves of modern humans to colonise Europe between 54,000 and 42,000 years ago. That is the key conclusion of scientists who have been studying caves in the Rhone valley where they have discovered evidence that Homo sapiens had to make a trio of determined attempts to head westwards and northwards from western Asia before they could establish themselves in the continent.

“The first two of these waves failed but the third succeeded around 42,000 years ago,” said Ludovic Slimak of the University of Toulouse, who is leading the excavations in France. “After that, modern humans took over in Europe. The Neanderthals, who had evolved on the continent, died out.”

…

Slimak has also argued, in previous papers, that modern humans, who first emerged from Africa around 60,000 years ago, may have been armed with bows and arrows to judge from the tiny 54,000-year-old pointed stone tools – which look very like arrowheads – that have been found in the Grotte Mandrin cave in the Rhône Valley. This technology – which allows hunters to kill at a distance without endangering themselves – would have given the incomers a vital advantage over local Neanderthals.

The Grotte Mandrin in France’s Rhone Valley

However, after a period of around 40 years, this first group of modern human incomers disappeared from the fossil record and the site was subsequently re-occupied by Neanderthals. If our ancestors were better equipped, why did this first intrusion into Europe end this way? Similarly, why did the second wave – which probably occurred around 44-46,000 years ago – also end in failure?

One answer is straightforward, says Slimak. Those early waves of humans simply lacked numbers. He believes there were up to 100 men, women and children in the Grotte Mandrin settlement. “That may not have been sufficient to maintain their biological strength and perhaps they could not exchange genes with local Neanderthals because the fertility between them was poor,” he added.

However, he rejected the idea that relations between Neanderthals and modern humans were poor. In fact, every indication suggests that the two groups were on good terms.

Then came the third wave, and this time it seems that our ancestors did have the numbers, Slimak added. “The third time they came in, modern humans did so with a really huge wave of people and began to build social networks, not with Neanderthals but with individual small separate groups of Homo sapiens in order to build a huge network throughout Europe. And in the end, that is what started the decline of the Neanderthals in Europe.”

Well.

I mean.

A lot of people might read something like this and start drawing comparisons, I think.

Sodom and Gomorrah Destroyed by “Large Cosmic Fireball,” Evidence Suggests https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/10/07/sodom-and-gomorrah-destroyed-by-large-cosmic-fireball-evidence-suggests/ Thu, 07 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000

See – everyone will eventually be made to pay.

Study Finds:

The biblical “sin cities” of Sodom and Gomorrah could have been destroyed by a meteor “cloudburst” that incinerated all 8,000 inhabitants, a fascinating new study suggests. The giant space rock exploded over the town 3,650 years ago, creating a fireball. Scientists say the same event might also have given rise to the tale of Jericho’s walls “tumbling down,” as that city was just 20 miles away.

In the Bible, God was said to have been enraged by the wickedness of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah, raining “fire and brimstone” upon them. Now there seems to be hard evidence that a “heavenly event” really did happen around that time. The cosmic calamity laid waste to the Jordan River Valley’s northern shore, razing a huge 100-acre city to the ground. It also exterminated other cities and multiple small villages. There would have been no survivors.

The epicenter of Jordan is located at what is today known as Tall el-Hammam. An ancient palace was flattened, along with the perimeter walls and other structures. Detonation occurred about 2.5 miles above the ground.  Even at that distance, the blast created a 740 mph shock wave. It would have leveled most of the buildings. None of the 8,000 residents would have survived the initial blast or the rock melting temperatures that followed.

Tall-el-Hammam excavation.

Human remains suggested they had been blown up or incinerated, with extreme disarticulation and fragmentation of bones. “We saw evidence for temperatures greater than 2,000 degrees Celsius,” says study lead author Professor James Kennett of the University of California at Santa Barbara, in a statement.

An international team also found building materials and pottery shards melted into glass. Mud bricks had heat bubbles. These are all indications of unusually high temperatures, which would have occurred during the biblical account of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. There was no man-made technology at the time that could have produced such astonishing damage.

“There is evidence of a large cosmic fireball, close to Tall el-Hammam,” says Prof. Kennett. He likens the extraordinary event to the 1908 Tunguska Event when a 12 megaton meteor destroyed 80 million trees across 830 square miles of eastern Siberia. It would have also been similar to the impact that did away with the dinosaurs but on a much smaller scale.

Further proof was provided by the identification of melted metals, including iron and silica, in samples of soil and sediments. The settlement had hosted early civilization for thousands of years. At the time it was ten and five times larger than Jerusalem and Jericho, respectively.

“The extent of the cosmic airburst at Tunguska, Siberia (1908), superimposed on the Dead Sea area. This accurately scaled image shows that a cosmic airburst similar in energy to the one at Tunguska could cover a large segment of the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Note that this overlay is for comparison only; the location, orientation, direction of travel, entry direction, and size of the proposed TeH impact is unknown.”

“I think one of the main discoveries is shocked quartz. These are sand grains containing cracks that form only under very high pressure. We have shocked quartz from this layer. That means there were incredible pressures involved to shock the quartz crystals. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals. It is very hard to shock,” explains Kennett.

The fireball also explains the unusually high concentrations of salt in the basement layer, which reached 25% in some samples. “The salt was thrown up due to the high impact pressures,” he adds.

…

Tall el-Hamman has been the focus of an ongoing debate as to whether it could be the biblical city of Sodom. In the Old Testament’s Book of Genesis, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God for how wicked their inhabitants had become. One inhabitant, Lot, was saved by two angels who instructed him not to look behind as they fled. But Lot’s wife lingers and is turned into a pillar of salt. Meanwhile, fire and brimstone fall from the sky; multiple cities were destroyed; thick smoke rose from the fires; city inhabitants were killed and area crops were destroyed in what sounds like an eyewitness account of a cosmic impact event.

“All the observations stated in Genesis are consistent with a cosmic fireball. But there is no scientific proof this destroyed city is indeed the Sodom of the Old Testament,” says Kennett. The space rock hurtled through the atmosphere and exploded over the ancient city, he explained.

In other news, dinosaurs really are just dragons.

Homo Longi: Skull Found in a Well in China Alleged to be “New Species of Human” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/06/26/homo-longi-scientist-rethink-evolution-after-huge-human-head-found-in-chinese-well/ Sat, 26 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0000

New human, or just yet another skull from an extinct ape???

You decide!

BBC News:

Chinese researchers have unveiled an ancient skull that could belong to a completely new species of human.

The team has claimed it is our closest evolutionary relative among known species of ancient human, such as Neanderthals and Homo erectus.

Nicknamed “Dragon Man”, the specimen represents a human group that lived in East Asia at least 146,000 years ago.

It was found at Harbin, north-east China, in 1933, but only came to the attention of scientists more recently.

An analysis of the skull has been published in the journal The Innovation.

One of the UK’s leading experts in human evolution, Prof Chris Stringer from London’s Natural History Museum, was a member of the research team.

“In terms of fossils in the last million years, this is one of the most important yet discovered,” he told BBC News.

“What you have here is a separate branch of humanity that is not on its way to becoming Homo sapiens (our species), but represents a long-separate lineage which evolved in the region for several hundred thousand years and eventually went extinct.”

Artist’s impression of Homo Longi.

The researchers say the discovery has the potential to rewrite the story of human evolution. Their analysis suggests that it is more closely related to Homo sapiens than it is to Neanderthals.

They have assigned the specimen to a new species: Homo longi, from the Chinese word “long”, meaning dragon.

“We found our long-lost sister lineage,” said Xijun Ni, a professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hebei GEO University in Shijiazhuang.

He told BBC News: “I said ‘oh my gosh!’ I could not believe that it was so well preserved, you can see all the details. It is a really amazing find!”

The skull is huge compared with the average skulls belonging to other human species, including our own. Its brain was comparable in size to those from our species.

Dragon Man had large, almost square eye sockets, thick brow ridges, a wide mouth, and oversized teeth. Prof Qiang Ji, from Hebei GEO University, says it is one of the most complete early human skull fossils ever discovered.

“It has a mosaic combination of primitive and (more modern features), setting itself apart from all the other species of human,” the researcher explained.

The scientists believe that Dragon Man was powerfully-built and rugged. But little is known about how he lived, because his skull was removed from the site in which it was found.

That means that there is currently no archaeological context, such as stone tools, or other elements of culture.

The skull was reportedly discovered in 1933 by a construction worker helping build a bridge on the Songhua river running through Harbin, in Heilongjiang province, which translated means Black Dragon River, hence the new human’s name..

The city was under Japanese occupation at the time. Suspecting its cultural value, the Chinese worker smuggled it home, to keep it out of the hands of occupiers. He hid it at the bottom of his family’s well, where it remained for around 80 years. The man told his family about the skull before he died, which is how it eventually got into the hands of scientists.

“The researchers claim the form of ancient human on the far left may have evolved into the relatively modern Dragon Man on the far right over millions of years.”

Dragon Man joins a number of early human remains uncovered in China that have proven difficult to categorise. These include remains from Dali, Jinniushan, Hualongdong and the Xiahe jawbone from the Tibetan Plateau.

There has been a fierce debate about whether these remains represent primitive examples of Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, a human group called the Denisovans, or something else entirely.

Frankly, this stuff about “oh wow, we found a new evolutionary item” is generally not believable.

What is the difference between a “new human skull” and the skull of an extinct ape?

The answer tends to be “the eye of the beholder.”

Scientists Find a New Piece of a Rock, Make Wide-Ranging Claims Regarding It https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/03/28/scientists-find-a-new-piece-of-a-rock-make-wide-ranging-claims-regarding-it/ Sun, 28 Mar 2021 03:00:17 +0000

If you’re wondering where they come up with these dates, well then, you’re not the only one wondering about that.

Study Finds:

Archaeologists consider Oldowan and Acheulean stone tools to be the oldest existing examples of ancient technology. Now, a new study finds these prehistoric tools are likely older than anyone thinks. Researchers the University of Kent’s School of Anthropology and Conservation say the stone relics may be tens of thousands of years older than the original estimates.

Study authors say these new findings change a whole lot for archeologists. They may provide a new “chronological foundation” by which to understand how early humans began creating and producing stone tools. This new timeline also raises questions about the evolution of humanity’s technological capabilities. Rewriting the evolutionary timeline may also change the technological connection to dietary and behavioral changes that occurred simultaneously.

Pictured: Acheulean “hand axes.”

Researchers used newly devised statistical modeling methods to reach these new conclusions. It’s a notable leap forward, considering scientists have only recently introduced these techniques to the archeological world.

According to the new models, Oldowan stone tools originated between 2.617 and 2.644 million years ago. That’s anywhere from 36,000 to 63,000 years earlier than the currently accepted evidence indicates. Meanwhile, study authors estimate Acheulean tools appeared between 1.815 and 1.823 million years ago (at least 55,000 years earlier than believed).

…

“Our research provides the best possible estimates for understanding when hominins first produced these stone tool types. This is important for multiple reasons, but for me at least, it is most exciting because it highlights that there are likely to be substantial portions of the artifact record waiting to be discovered,” says lead study author Dr. Alastair Key, a Paleolithic Archaeologist, in a university release.

They just put this sort of thing out there, and just expect people to accept it.

“Oh, these tools are 36,000 years old – oh no, actually, they’re 3 million years old, maybe!”

But whichever thing they are saying you’re supposed to accept at the time that they say it and simply say “oh that’s fascinating.”

No mask, one mask, two mask, three mask – just follow the science!

The actual reality is that science does not “say” anything. Science is a method of inquiry.

We were all supposed to learn this in I think third grade.

The entire earth is covered with gigantic stone structures that archaeologists claim were built by apelike cave creatures.

Have you heard of Saqsaywaman?

It’s this:

It’s built on top of a mountain.

Those stones are fitted so well together, you can’t slide a piece of paper between them.

This is what conquistador Francisco Pizarro wrote of it:

Pn top of a hill they [the Inca] had a very strong fort surrounded with masonry walls of stones and having two very high round towers. And in the lower part of this wall there were stones so large and thick that it seemed impossible that human hands could have set them in place…they were so close together, and so well fitted, that the point of a pin could not have been inserted in one of the joints. The whole fortress was built up in terraces and flat spaces.

Much of the structure was taken apart by the Spanish at the time, but look at what is there now:

It looks like the base of a massive structure, which could have been built hundreds of thousands or millions of years ago, and collapsed over time.

So-called “science” claims that the people who were living in the structure when the Spanish arrived must have been the ones that built it. That they built it in the 15th century.

The “Incas.”

That is, these people:

Who more recently built this:

I’m not trying to make fun. Indio mountain people are actually kind folks, they’re a bit like Filipinos or something. They’re much more pleasant than the “latinos” that pour across the Southern border.

But the average IQ of Peru is 82, which is slightly lower than American blacks. The idea that they built these gigantic stone structures, using some method that we still can’t explain today, is facially absurd.

I just picked one random example here. There are gigantic stone structures all over the world. And you cannot date a rock, using any method of dating.

Nb4 “Brilliant and enlightened female genius figures out a way to date a rock.”

(Editor’s Note: I told you guys – we’re doing jokes, okay? We’re bringing back jokes. So you can just choke on that one.)

This entire narrative of history is just clearly false.

There was a global civilization that built these stone buildings, and we have no idea how long ago it was.

All this stuff they come out with about “oh, we found a rock” is just to keep with this false narrative that humans were living in caves, then farms, now cities, and that you are now at the peak of civilization. You are not at the peak of civilization. You are at the tipping point of a collapsing empire made of plastic and birth control pills.

]]> Human Habitation of America Before Arctic Crossing, Before Ice Age? https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/07/23/human-habitation-of-america-before-arctic-crossing-before-ice-age/ Thu, 23 Jul 2020 00:00:00 +0000

I guess that they were just wrong about this the whole time.

I remember being taught this Arctic crossing theory of how the first humans came to America and it seemed a little fantastic to me at the time.

AFP:

Tools excavated from a cave in central Mexico are strong evidence that humans were living in North America at least 30,000 years ago, some 15,000 years earlier than previously thought, scientists said Wednesday.

Artefacts, including 1,900 stone tools, showed human occupation of the high-altitude Chiquihuite Cave over a roughly 20,000 year period, they reported in two studies, published in Nature.

“Our results provide new evidence for the antiquity of humans in the Americas,” Ciprian Ardelean, an archeologist at the Universidad Autonoma de Zacatecas and lead author of one of the studies, told AFP.

…

The saga of how and when Homo sapiens arrived in the Americas — the last major land mass to be populated by our species — is fiercly debated among experts, and the new findings will likely be contested.

“That happens every time that anybody finds sites older than 16,000 years — the first reaction is denial or hard acceptance,” said Ardelean, who first excavated the cave in 2012 but did not discover the oldest items until 2017.

Until recently, the widely accepted storyline was that the first humans to set foot in the Americas crossed a land bridge from present-day Russia to Alaska some 13,500 years ago and moved south through a corridor between two massive ice sheets.

Archeological evidence — including uniquely crafted spear points used to slay mammoths and other prehistoric megafauna — suggested this founding population, known as Clovis Culture, spread across North America, giving rise to distinct native American populations.

But the so-called Clovis-first model has fallen apart over the last two decades with the discovery of several ancient human settlements dating back two or three thousand years before earlier.

Moreover, the tool and weapon remnants at these sites were not the same, showing distinct origins.

“Clearly, people were in the Americas long before the development of Clovis technology in North America,” said Gruhn, an anthropology professor emerita at the University of Alberta, in commenting on the new findings.

In a second study, Lorena Becerra-Valdivia and Thomas Higham, researchers at the University of Oxford’s Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit, used radiocarbon — backed up by another technique based on luminescence — to date samples from 42 sites across North America.

Using a statistical model, they showed widespread human presence “before, during and immediately after the Last Glacial Maximum” (LGM), which lasted from 27,000 to 19,000 years ago.

The timing of this deep chill is crucial because it is widely agreed that humans migrating from Asia could not have penetrated the massive icesheets that covered much of the continent during this period.

I also remember being taught about the first cellular life spontaneously self-assembling around thermal vents in the ocean floor.

That also seemed pretty wild.

Now, years later, NASA says that maybe the first archeobacteria were seeded through asteroids.

What these scientists seem to be telling us, if we pay attention, is that they really have no idea about a lot things. They’re just making things up as they go along.

Science: Homo Erectus Went Extinct Because They were Lazy Niggers https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/08/18/science-homo-erectus-went-extinct-because-they-were-lazy-niggers/ Sat, 18 Aug 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol

Believe it or not, these creatures behaved exactly like niggers.

This is pretty interesting, though I think these researchers are making a crucial mistake in thinking that Homo Erectus has gone extinct. Looking up pictures online, it’s pretty clear that they live on in Africa to this day, though in a slightly evolved form.

The main evolution seems to be the distillation of bananas into hard liquor.

Live Science:

It turns out laziness existed long before couches and takeout. The “why bother?” attitude not only existed hundreds of thousands of years ago, but may also have led to the decline of an ancient human ancestor.

Homo erectus first appeared 2 million years ago and went extinct some 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. But compared with other hominins, like Neanderthals, this species may have been quite lazy and more reluctant to adapt to a changing environment, according to new study published July 27 in the Journal PLOS One.

Of course, Homo Erectus are nothing compared with the Neanderthal master race. Neanderthals lived in Europe and Asia, and mixed with Homo Sapiens to produce modern Europeans and East Asians. Their occupancy of a harsh, frozen landscape pressured them to become inventive and disciplined, while the Erectus niggers lazied around in the paradise-tier lands in Africa and the Ice-Age Middle East.

Erectuses (Erecti?) are allergic to hard work. In fact, they spend way more time sitting in the shade than being “erect,” leading some to think the name is a misnomer.

Archaeologists from Australian National University analyzed thousands of newfound and previously unearthed artifacts from an excavation site in the Arabian Peninsula in modern-day Saffaqah, Saudi Arabia, in 2014. Their findings suggested that the Homo erectus species in that area exerted the minimal effort necessary to make tools and find supplies. [Top 10 Mysteries of the First Humans]

M I N I M A L   E F F O R T.

Sounds familiar?

Instead, these early humans lived in places that had easy access to stones and water, the study found.

“To make their stone tools, they would use whatever rocks they could find lying around their camp, which were mostly of comparatively low quality to what later stone-tool makers used,” lead author Ceri Shipton, an archaeologist at Australian National University, said in a statement. Such tools included cores, flakes, hand axes and cleavers.

Kind of like Africans just shit around their house, rather than dig a hole, which would take, like, minutes of time.

Nah, you’re way to busy like… Doing your hair or some shit.

A little way away from the Homo erectus camps was a rocky outcrop that had higher-quality rock but required a trek up a hill. “But rather than walk up the hill, they would just use whatever bits had rolled down and were lying at the bottom,” Shipton said.

When the researchers examined the rocky outcrop, they found that it was untouched by Homo erectus — no traces of activity, no artifacts and no quarrying of the stone, Shipton said in the statement. By contrast Neanderthals and early Homo sapiens climbed mountains for high-quality stones and transported them over long distances, according to the statement.

Neanderthal master race is representin’!

These early humans were strong and skillful, and they thrived in the region for some time. But once the riverbeds dried out, as sediment samples from the area reveal happened, these people’s lack of initiative doomed them.

Mmmmh.

Such an important lesson. Lazy niggers, and their ancestors, without intervention from White people, or their ancestors, will die out from their lack of initiative.

Once the Whites are gone from South Africa, the Blacks will go shortly thereafter.

None of these brown people have the capacity to adapt to the kind of disasters nature may have in store for us. Blacks aren’t going to prevent earth from being hit by an asteroid. Blacks aren’t going to reverse desertification of the rainforests. Blacks aren’t going to build underground bunkers, or greenhouses in the arctic.

If we lose this and die out, the rest of the planet’s featherless bipeds are going to be wiped out at the first major catastrophe.

Sometimes, you need to kill your children to safeguard their future.

One thing I’ve noticed about boomer hippies, is that they just love the native Americans. “They’re so much more connected with nature,” they’ll say. “So wise, so peaceful.”

They’ll even shed a tear for the environment.

Sure, they had some quaint cultural practices, like scalping the occasional nigga with stone knives.

Ouch.

But that only adds to the charm.

Well, now we have some new archeological research that sheds additional light on the vibrant culture of natives in south America, and shockingly, it has a lot in common with boomer culture.

Yes, like the boomers, these noble savages sacrificed their own children for their convenience – or maybe simply because it was trendy at the time.

Washington Post:

Archaeologists in northern Peru say they have found evidence of what could be the world’s largest single case of child sacrifice.

The pre-Columbian burial site, known as Las Llamas, contains the skeletons of 140 children who were between the ages of five and 14 when they were ritually sacrificed during a ceremony about 550 years ago, experts who led the excavation told The Associated Press on Friday.

The site, located near the modern day city of Trujillo, also contained the remains of 200 young llamas apparently sacrificed on the same day.

The burial site was apparently built by the ancient Chimu empire. It is thought the children were sacrificed as floods caused by the El Nino weather pattern ravaged the Peruvian coastline.

Makes sense.

“They were possibly offering the gods the most important thing they had as a society, and the most important thing is children because they represent the future,” said Gabriel Prieto, an archaeology professor at Peru’s National University of Trujillo, who has led the excavation, along with John Verano of Tulane University.

“Llamas were also very important because these people had no other beasts of burden, they were a fundamental part of the economy,” Prieto said, adding that the children were buried facing the sea, while the Llamas faced the Andes Mountains to the east.

Yeah, wow, great idea. Killing your kids to prevent bad weather seems like a really solid trade there.

Look, the ancient Greeks and Romans also did sacrifices to please the gods. But they only sacrificed, like, wheat, wine and animals. And when they killed their animals, they tended to eat them in a big barbecue afterwards.

This ridiculous mass slaughter of your own people doesn’t follow from paganism or the concept of sacrifices.

These people just enjoyed killing. Just like they do now.

If you want to understand the psychology of these Indios beaners, just look at their ancestors. Pure demonic blood-crazed nut-jobs.

Excavation work at the burial site started in 2011, but news of the findings was first published on Thursday by National Geographic, which helped finance the investigation.

Prieto said researchers did not find just bones at the site but also footprints that have survived rain and erosion. The small footprints indicate the children were marched to their deaths from Chan Chan, an ancient city a mile away from Las Llamas, he said.

Verano said the children’s skeletons contained lesions on their breastbones, which were probably made by a ceremonial knife. Dislocated ribcages suggest that whoever was performing the sacrifices may have been trying to extract the children’s hearts.

Again, this obsession with violently slaughtering people as a “sacrifice” isn’t related to pagan religion in general. It’s a sick perversion specific to these native Americans. In Greek religion, the concept of human sacrifice did exist (it’s present in some Greek myths), there’s no evidence that this was commonly practiced or tolerated.

Letting these same exact people invade America by the millions means literally opening the gates of hell on our entire civilization. Our existence simply isn’t compatible with these alien people.

While the beaners are currently sacrificing their kids under the guise of cartel executions, don’t be surprised if pyramids start popping up in your neighborhoods where hearts get torn out of chests 24/7 sometime in the near future.
