A new study introduces a tool to measure “woke” attitudes, revealing a correlation with heightened anxiety and depression. These attitudes are less prevalent than assumed, with gender and political affiliation playing significant roles. https://t.co/i4x0M5VQ2y

In general, people who go around complaining about things that don’t have any affect on their own personal lives are projecting personal problems onto these things.

Obviously, right-wingers also complain about things. But just go through the list of the things the Daily Stormer complains about. It’s all things that you can say clearly affect our personal lives directly, or have the clear potential to. Although a lot of people get into right-wing politics because they are unhappy, they look for issues relating to the cause of their unhappiness, such as the lack of the viability of marriage and family, economic problems, immigrants and junkies on the streets, all the various other threats to social cohesion, government intrusion into people’s personal lives, and so on. With every right-wing issue, you can say “I care about this because it affects me and/or my family and people I care about.”

There is no “woke” issue that has any real world affect on people’s lives. No white woman is affected by George Floyd’s death or Russian annexation of the Donbass.

I guess the one exception might be abortion, as modern women really do need that, personally. But that’s also an older issue that women have supported ever since it became technically possible to do a safe abortion. (I guess with the virus hoax, they also believed they were going to die if everyone wasn’t force vaxed, though that’s also a different category, and anyway, it was easily shown to be a hoax, so anyone who believed it did so because they like believing in lies.) None of the rest of these issues even have a remote potential of affecting the lives of the people promoting them.

New York Post:

Psychological researchers in Finland have created an assessment to help measure an individual’s commitment to principles of social justice and made some surprising findings across the Finnish population — including a negative correlation between progressive ideals and levels of happiness.

Their findings, published in the Scandinavian Journal of Psychology, suggest other Western nations may see similar patterns among their socially conscious citizens.

Study author Oskari Lahtinen, a senior researcher at the INVEST Research Flagship Centre at the University of Turku, remarked that the “woke” discourse has since worked its way into Finnish discourse.

“This debate was largely data-free and it could thus be considered a worthwhile question to study how prevalent these attitudes are,” he continued. “No reliable and valid instrument existed prior to the study to assess the extent and prevalence of these attitudes in different populations, so I set out to develop one.”

Their research trajectory included extensive reading on intersectional feminism, critical race theory, queer theory, and other relevant academic disciplines that inform critical social justice, PsyPost reports.

…

However, the most concerning finding was the relationship between mental health and agreement with the scale. Specifically, researchers found a high prevalence of anxiety and depression in people who believe the statement “If white people have on average a higher income than black people, it is because of racism.” More broadly, they found that those who identified as left-wing were most likely to report lower mental well-being.

In order to believe in “racism” as it is defined in the mainstream – an irrational and blind hatred of strangers because of the color of their skin – you have to have very serious mental problems.

These findings are very obvious, but of course, no one would ever say it, because the general sentiment is that white women will become happy if normal white men are made suffer.

All of these issues, you will find, are about making white men suffer. Women are sadistic. It doesn’t make them happy, but they get a rush from hurting men who somehow remind them of their fathers. Just look at the Ukraine thing. This whole story is “look at that Putin guy, he’s a white man with self-respect who believes in Jesus and social normalcy – he’s just like an evil father figure.”

Thanks, Finland.

Shock as Kids Who Consume Energy Drinks Have “Mental Health Issues” (Caffeine Side Effects) https://www.anglinarchive.com/2024/02/03/shock-as-kids-who-consume-energy-drinks-have-mental-health-issues-caffeine-side-effects/ Sat, 03 Feb 2024 00:00:00 +0000

I don’t think the government should regulate energy drinks. Some people need them if they’re working late or what not, and anyway, it’s not any of the government’s business.

However, these things do mess you up something nutty if you use them with regularity. It really gets to the point where it’s not much different than just taking Adderall, the way it messes with your sleep.

There’s really no reason why kids should be drinking these things, and they are largely marketed to kids.

New York Post:

Energy drinks could pose a risk to young brains, according to new research.

Those who consumed energy drinks — which are intended to boost energy through the use of caffeine or other stimulants — were shown to have a higher risk of mental health issues, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

…

“We have found an even greater list of mental and physical health outcomes associated with children and young people consuming energy drinks,” lead author Amelia Lake, professor of public health nutrition at Teesside University, told Fox News Digital.

“We repeated [the review] only to find an ever-growing evident space that suggests the consumption of these drinks is associated with negative health outcomes.”

The caffeine content of energy drinks ranges from 50 mg to 505 mg per serving, compared to 90 mg in 8.45 ounces of coffee, 50 mg in 8.45 ounces of tea and 34 mg in 16.9 ounces of soda, the researchers noted.

…

Erin Palinski-Wade, a New Jersey-based registered dietitian, was not involved in the new research but said its findings did not surprise her.

“Energy drinks are not a safe choice for children and no safe guidelines have been established for caffeine consumption in those under the age of 18,” she told Fox News Digital.

Caffeine has a half-life of six to eight hours, she noted — which means it takes that long for it to leave the system.

“Even small amounts of caffeine can impact quality and quantity of sleep, and poor sleep is directly correlated with a decline in both mental and physical health — in adults as well as children,” Palinski-Wade noted.

The Post is wrong about a half-life of six hours meaning “it takes that long to leave the system.” 505 mg of caffeine in a kid is insane; it would be healthier to just give them cocaine at that point, and it’s no wonder they’re experiencing ADHD and anxiety when consuming those amounts.

UK: Survey Says People Who Strictly Respected Lockdown Rules are More Likely to be Crazy Now https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/11/22/uk-survey-says-people-who-strictly-respected-lockdown-rules-are-more-likely-to-be-crazy-now/ Wed, 22 Nov 2023 00:00:00 +0000

No one could have predicted this.

The Guardian:

People who stuck by Covid lockdown rules the most strictly have the worst mental health today, research has found.

Those who followed the restrictions most closely when the pandemic hit are the most likely to be suffering from stress, anxiety and depression, academics at Bangor University have found.

They identified that people with “communal” personalities – who are more caring, sensitive and aware of others’ needs – adhered the most rigorously with the lockdown protocols that Boris Johnson and senior medics and scientists recommended.

However, people with “agentic” personalities – who are more independent, more competitive and like to have control over their lives – were least likely to exhibit those behaviours.

I’m assuming “communal” is a way of saying “mostly women and faggots,” while “agentic” means “mostly men.”

“The more individuals complied with health advice during lockdown, the worse their wellbeing post-lockdown,” concluded Dr Marley Willegers and colleagues.

The fear of catching Covid proved both an upside and a downside, they found. “While increasing individuals’ worry of infection can effectively drive compliance, it also has negative consequences on people’s wellbeing and recovery,” they said.

The researchers based their findings on a study of how compliant with the rules 1,729 people in Wales were during the first UK-wide lockdown in March to September 2020 and measures of stress, anxiety and depression found among them during February to May this year.

“Communal” types displayed the highest levels of continuing disturbance to their mental wellbeing. However, “agentic” people had been able to “bounce back” better from lockdown mode.

Willegers, an academic at Bangor University’s institute for the psychology of elite performance, said some people found it hard to make the transition from receiving regular exhortations about following public health advice during the pandemic to no advice when lockdown ended.

“Throughout the pandemic messaging campaigns were designed to ensure people continued to follow the rules. But there was no messaging campaign as we came out of the pandemic to help everyone safely transition back to normality.

“Without this, certain personality types have retained infection prevention behaviour and anxiety that undermines their mental wellbeing,” he added.

The enduringly poor mental health being experienced by people who adhered to the rules is “deeply disturbing”, the Centre for Mental Health thinktank said.

“The finding that people who complied with pandemic restrictions are more likely to have poorer mental health three years on is deeply disturbing.

“The fear, loss and trauma created by the pandemic are having a lasting impact on many people’s mental health. For some, this may have been exacerbated by the loss of social solidarity from seeing others not complying with the same restrictions,” said Andy Bell, its chief executive.

…

Mark Winstanley, the chief executive of the charity Rethink Mental Illness, said: “The early days of the pandemic were characterised by significant disruption, uncertainty and a lack of control, factors which can all fuel anxiety and low mood.

“It’s important to recognise that those who took the greatest steps to protect themselves and others have seen an enduring impact on their mental health.

“While many want to move on from the pandemic and life under lockdown, its legacy lives with many people to this day, as worries or concerns about our loved ones or the risks to our own health can’t be easily shaken off.”

Welp.

Daily Stormer is right again.

We take no pleasure in this, mind you.

No pleasure at all.

It was supposed to last 2 weeks…

Young Australians Experiencing “High Psychological Distress” Because of Global Warming Hoax https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/04/20/young-australians-experiencing-high-psychological-distress-because-of-global-warming-hoax/ Thu, 20 Apr 2023 00:00:00 +0000

This is like what they did to kids during the Cold War, when they were constantly telling them they were going to get nuked by the Russians.

The Russians weren’t ever going to nuke anyone. Well, not back then. They might now. But now, no one is even talking about it. Instead they’re telling kids the weather is going to kill them.

The lesson is: it is never normal to fill children with fear about things they have no control over. This should be obvious to everyone, but it has somehow been acceptable for decades.

The Guardian:

Ruby Bron feels “helpless” and “anxiety-ridden” when she thinks about the future and the irreversible damage occurring because of the climate crisis.

The 17-year-old Sydney student says without drastic action to cut emissions, her generation will be left to deal with the climate crisis in an increasingly damaged and volatile world.

“That is a massive responsibility placed on us,” Bron said. “Anxiety builds up.”

Ruby Bron

She said the climate crisis was such a big issue and causing so much harm that sometimes she felt like it was impossible to fight it.

“There is a constant occurrence of disasters,” she said. “Fires, floods, droughts and cyclones.

“These disasters affect people’s livelihoods, their homes, the way their communities run. In that world, there would be a lot of disappointment and regret that nothing was done sooner.”

The youth mental health organisation, Orygen, and Mission Australia on Thursday released the findings of a survey of nearly 19,000 young Australians aged 15-19.

More than a quarter (26%) said they were “very concerned” or “extremely concerned” about the climate crisis, and 38% said they experienced high psychological distress, the survey found.

Those who reported being very or extremely concerned were more likely to report higher levels of distress, lower wellbeing and more negative feelings about the future.

Dr Caroline Gao, a biostatistician and epidemiologist at youth mental health organisation Orygen, and co-author of the report, said the impact of the climate crisis on mental health was “an emerging but significant issue” that would probably grow as global heating becomes more severe.

…

Dr Catriona Davis-McCabe, president of the Australian Psychological Society, said it was an “understatement” to say young Australians were anxious about the climate crisis.

“They are despairing,” she said. “Psychologists are seeing an increase in people of all ages presenting with psychological distress they attribute to concern for the climate.”

Davis-McCabe said many young people were telling their psychologists that they felt as though they will not have a world to live in.

“Where climate anxiety used to be something only a small group of patients were worried about, it is now one of the most common issues psychologists are discussing with young people,” she said.

“Some young patients are reconsidering what their future should look like, including whether they should have children of their own. To make things worse, it has never been more difficult for young people to access psychological services.”

I just don’t… I don’t…

Worst case. Worst case. Why would it matter if it was a little bit hotter outside?

Are these people that worried about swamp ass?

21-Year-Old TikToker Dies Suddenly a Few Months After “Anxiety-Induced Heart Attack” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/12/04/21-year-old-tiktoker-dies-suddenly-a-few-months-after-anxiety-induced-heart-attack/ Sun, 04 Dec 2022 00:00:00 +0000

If you’re vaxed, try to relax.

Or else you might just have an “anxiety induced heart attack.”

If you’ve never heard of that kind of heart attack before, this is what you need to know: it’s caused by global warming.

Washington Examiner:

Canadian TikTok star Megha Thakur died suddenly last week, her parents revealed.

Thakur, 21, had over 1 million followers spread across her TikTok and Instagram accounts at the time of her death. Her parents announced her death in an Instagram post on the star’s account on Tuesday, saying she died “suddenly and unexpectedly.”

“It is with heavy hearts we announce the light of our life, our kind, caring, and beautiful daughter, Megha Thakur, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on November 24, 2022 in the early morning hours,” the post read, with an attached image of Thakur with her lifespan next to her.

“Megha was a confident and independent young woman. She will be dearly missed. She loved her fans and would have wanted you to know of her passing. At this time, we request your blessings for Megha. Your thoughts and prayers will be with her in her onward journey,” it added.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday.

…

In her final TikTok post, Thakur was shown walking across a New York City crosswalk with the attached message, “YOU’RE in charge of your own destiny. Remember that.”

It’s fitting and it’s very true.

Many people made the decision to take the vax, and now their destiny is death.

It’s hard to feel bad for them. It’s not like they weren’t aware that millions of people were saying “NO DON’T DO IT IT’S GOING TO KILL YOU AND THERE ISN’T EVEN A CORONAVIRUS ANYWAY—!”

(Actually, most anti-vaxers probably believed in the coronavirus at the time. They were just saying it is harmless to younger people. Fewer and fewer people now believe it exists at all, understanding that the media/government just rebranded the flu.)

53.2M+ Extra Cases of Depression and 76.2M+ of Anxiety in 2020 Because of Lockdown, Study Says https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/10/11/53-2m-extra-cases-of-depression-and-76-2m-of-anxiety-in-2020-because-of-lockdown-study-says/ Mon, 11 Oct 2021 00:00:00 +0000

The most shocking thing about this is that no one could have predicted it would happen.

RT:

The coronavirus pandemic added to the burden of depressive and anxiety disorders in over 200 countries last year, a new study shows, saying the impact of Covid-19 has increased the number of depressed people by nearly a third.

While “mental disorders were leading causes of the global health-related burden” even before the pandemic, the spread of the dreaded virus and subsequent restrictive measures to fight the disease have considerably added to the load, a study published in The Lancet medical journal on Friday suggests.

An extra 53.2 million cases — an increase of 27.6% — of major depressive disorders and 76.2 million cases of anxiety disorders have added to the number of people suffering from mental health issues, according to researchers.

To measure the pandemic’s impact on any given area, the team analyzed daily SARS-CoV-2 infection rates, restrictions on human mobility, and daily excess mortality rates. It turned out that the locations hit hardest based on the first two criteria corresponded to those with a documented spike in depressive and anxiety disorders, with the study concluding that increasing infections and decreasing mobility are “significantly associated” with worsening mental health.

The team, however, found that an excess mortality rate “was not associated with the change in prevalence for either major depressive disorder or anxiety disorders.”

The study also discovered that women’s mental health was affected more by the pandemic than that of men’s. Younger people were affected more than older age groups, as they suffered from lack of peer interaction after the schools shut down and other social restrictions were put in place.

So, the infection rate affects people’s mental health, but deaths do not.

Hm.

Hm.

Hm.

It’s almost like this whole “positive PCR test infection” is an attack on the population.

We’ve all witnessed people get a positive PCR test result and have a total freakout, even though they do not get sick.

Basically, the media has taught people to respond to a positive PCR test in the same way as a medieval peasant would respond to a witch telling him he’s got a curse.

We should alway remember: people in the middle ages were not really any different than people are today. The idea that an increase in technology has somehow changed the nature of man and made him more psychologically sophisticated is just obviously dumb and wrong.

Modern science is simply a rebranding of old-fashioned magic.

But don’t worry, kids.

You’ll be happy soon.

The key to happiness might shock you: it’s to own nothing.

Thankfully, people that love you are in the process of making that happen for you.

You might have heard of it – it’s called “build back better.”

Too Much Time on Social Media Likely to Cause Teeth-Grinding and Sleep Problems https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/03/16/too-much-time-on-social-media-likely-to-cause-teeth-grinding-and-sleep-problems/ Tue, 16 Mar 2021 02:04:20 +0000

Parents may start grinding their teeth when thinking about feasible ways to prevent their kids from getting addicted to social media.

The Jerusalem Post:

Tel Aviv University’s Maurice and Gabriela Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine carried out a new study claiming that the excessive time spent on social media or on mobile phones leads to an increased chance of pain in jaw and mouth-muscles, teeth-grinding, sleep problems, fatigue and drowsiness during the day.

About 600 participants participated in the study which included secular Jews (mostly smartphone users) and a group of ultra-Orthodox Israelis (those who use a phone without an internet connection).

…

Dr. Pessia Friedman-Rubin and Prof. Ilana Eli, who helped conduct the study, explained that “In today’s day and age people live with a sense of FOMO (fear of missing out) and so they want to stay constantly updated and know ‘what’s new’ every moment. This need naturally creates a growing dependence on cell phones, which leads to feelings of stress and anxiety – ‘someone might write something on social media, and I’ll miss it and not be in the loop.’”

Other reports confirm that a “a mental health pandemic of depression, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress and even suicide” are among side effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

It looks like having a smartphone isn’t a smart move.

Maybe we should just lock women in cages?

Study: Fear of “Climate Change” Linked to Mental Illness https://www.anglinarchive.com/2018/01/22/study-fear-of-climate-change-linked-to-mental-illness/ Mon, 22 Jan 2018 00:00:00 +0000 Adrian Sol
Daily Stormer
January 22, 2017

Somebody needs to stop this damned climate from changing!

I didn’t need a study to understand that these people panicking about the weather and claiming every year that the apocalypse is right around the corner are crazy.

I’m over 30, so I remember that ever since I was a little kid, people have been saying we’d all be dead within the next 10 years. In high schools, our teachers would tell us that our city would be completely flooded by 2012 because of rising sea levels. It didn’t happen.

And yet all of these same people are still ardent believers in their doom religion, in spite of the announced “apocalypse” never materializing, or even coming close to it. But in their minds, humans and technology are “bad,” so they must be destroying the earth somehow.

If only we’d all bought Teslas, we wouldn’t have to burn alive due to global warming.

Sydney Morning Herald:

Depression and anxiety are afflicting Americans who are concerned at the fate of the environment, according to a study of the mental health effects of climate change.

Those hit hardest are women and people with low incomes who worry about the planet’s long-term health, said the study published this week in the journal Global Environmental Change.

Symptoms include restless nights, feelings of loneliness and lethargy.

People aren’t kept up at night or feel lonely and tired because they’re worried about the stupid weather. It’s obviously the opposite situation going on here, where people who are anxious, lonely, anti-social and depressed get swept up in all this climate cult nonsense.

It’s always vulnerable people who are most likely to fall prey to these sorts of cult-type thinking patterns.

“We must accept the love of Al Gore into our hearts, so that we may be saved from global warming!”

“Climate change is a persistent global stressor,” Sabrina Helm, lead author of the paper and professor of family and consumer sciences at the University of Arizona, said.

Risks to mental health from climate change are a “creeping development”, she told the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Due to climate change, scientists predict sea levels are on track to surge as temperatures rise, posing threats such as deadly heat, extreme weather and land swallowed by rising water.

Yeah, they predicted that decades ago. It never happened.

I’m not writing this with a snorkel on.

How long are they going to just keep making the same predictions, but moving the dates forward? Are these retards going to be still there in 3018 saying we need to switch to electric flying cars or else we’ll all drown and burn alive from “climate change?”

World leaders mobilised to curb man-made greenhouse gas emissions to fight global warming in a 2015 agreement, although the United States has since said it would withdraw from the landmark deal.

CO2 is a tiny portion of these “greenhouse gases,” and humans produce a tiny portion of the CO2 being generated on earth. They claim this extremely minute effect is having a dramatic impact on the climate, and this is based entirely on complex computer simulations. And these same people can’t even accurately predict whether it’ll rain tomorrow using the same computer simulations.

It’s all a hoax.

Signs of depression do not appear in people concerned about climate change’s risks to humanity but do appear in people worried about its impact on other species, plants and nature overall, the research found.

In other words, people who hate their own species (and presumably their own race as well) will become depressed. Self-hatred is at the root of a lot of hardcore environmentalism.

That, and loving trees way too much.

Protecting the environment is important, because we need it to survive and prosper. But people who unironically see humanity as “evil” because we “hurt” their poor little trees or whatever are insane. These people shouldn’t be put in charge of anything important.

Yet instead of putting these people in a mental health facility or a cult-rehab program, the Jews are putting these insane people in charge of our whole society. And they of course burn it all down in the name of “environmentalism,” with barely a whisper from the Jews required.

If we don’t remove “climate change” cultists from power soon, they’ll destroy civilization forever.
