Jeffrey Younger has lost his court case to prevent his ex-wife from taking their son to California, where he could be medically transitioned. Younger has been trying to stop this from happening for years, and said that he has now reached the end of the line.

He wanted the courts to stop his ex-wife from taking the children to California and to protect his boys from medical mutilation at the hands of their mother, who is a pediatrician. The courts prevented him from forcing the mother to bring the boys back from California. Younger has accused her of using the children to help advertise her “inclusive,” “gender affirming” practice.

“The Supreme Court of Texas denied my Mandamus, effectively terminating my parental rights. My children are now subject to being chemically castrated in California. Texas is an empire of child abuse, led by Texas judges,” he said.

This after Judge Kim Cooks, on October 24, said that both parents should have a “joint managing conservatorship,” which each able to have “a say in his medical treatment,” The Texan reported.

The custody case was before the Supreme Court of Texas, which ruled against Younger. Younger had issued a petition on December 16 to try to retain his parental rights after his ex-wife, Dr. Anne Georgulas, took the boys to California.

California has a law in place, starting on Sunday, that children in that state will not be returned to their home state in the event that the home state would prevent the children from being medically transitioned to present as the opposite sex. Younger wanted the boys brought home.

California Senate Bill 107, proposed by State Senator Scott Wiener and signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom, will “prohibit the enforcement of an order based on another state’s law authorizing a child to be removed from their parent or guardian based on that parent or guardian allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care.”

Younger’s concern, per his petition, is that in California, his son “would be subjected to transgender procedures deemed to be child abuse by official opinion of the Texas Attorney General.” Texas has laws against the medical gender transition of children and teens.

“The Children would lose the protections of injunctions on the Mother that prevent her from chemically castrating the Children or sexually mutilating them in transgender surgeries,” younger said in his petition, according to The Texan.

Younger was married to pediatrician Georgulas. Georgulas and Younger ended up in court fighting over the children when she believed that James, Younger’s 7-year-old, wanted to live as a girl called Luna.

She petitioned the court to prevent Younger from “from signing Luna up as James for any activities or taking her as James or calling her James or using male pronouns related to Luna at any activities outside the home…”

She further asked the court to prevent Younger from “allowing the children to remain in the presence of anyone who is not calling Luna by her chosen name, ‘Luna,’ not using female pronouns to refer to her and otherwise not affirming Luna.”

Georgulas began to believe James was a girl when he asked for a “girl’s toy” from McDonald’s and wanted to wear dresses, as well as began to emulate the female lead characters in Disney’s Frozen. It was a counselor at the GENecis clinic at the Children’s Hospital Center who advised Georgulas to “socially transition” James, according to court documents. Georgulas was affiliated with that hospital.

Younger, who had joint custody in 2019, was and remains entirely against this course of action. When James is with Younger, he does not ask to be called Luna, does not seek out girls’ clothes. Yet a court determined that Younger must use the pronouns and names the ex-wife demanded.

In a video posted to the dad’s website, James is asked, “You’re a boy right?” Heavy reported.

“No, I’m a girl.”

“Who told you you’re a girl?”

“Mommy.”

The child said Anne also put James in dresses. “She buys me headbands. She gets me hair clips…she paints my nails.”

“Do you think you’re a girl?” The child answered in the affirmative.

Georgulas was awarded custody by the Texas courts in 2021. “Dallas County District Court Judge Mary Brown awarded Georgulas full custody of James. Brown also eliminated the requirement that Jeff Younger be notified about James’ medical procedures, except for instances of hormone suppression therapy, puberty-blocking drugs, and gender reassignment surgery. Under that order, Younger must consent to any decisions made under those categories of procedure,” The Texan reported.

Witnesses who knew the boys and could attest that James did not identify as a girl when left to his own devices, were prevented from testifying in the case. One mother of the boys’ friends said, in testimony she wasn’t allowed to give in 2019, that:

“Over the past year, I have observed that James is blissfully happy as a boy. He loves to march around outside and yell, ‘we are the only boy scout troop’ or ‘I’m the Leader of the wolf pack!’ He is always the ring leader, even though he isn’t the oldest of the group. He loves dressing as a super hero and sword fighting. One day we all walked to a playground near my house and on the way home James slipped in some mud and got his clothes dirty. He asked if he could borrow some of my kids clothes and I could wash his.

“Of course I said, ‘no problem’ and grabbed him a pair of shorts from the chest of drawers and tossed them to him. I said, ‘hang on while I grab a shirt from the closet’. He immediately said, ‘Mrs. Sarah, I don’t need a shirt! It’s hot! And boys don’t have to wear shirts if they don’t want to! Isn’t that awesome!’ He was so cute. I said, ‘yes that is awesome!’ As he ran off to play. I did eventually get him to put on a shirt. It was gray with lizards on it and he loved it! He also likes having his hair cut a certain way but told my son Grayson that his mom wouldn’t let him get it too short even though he wanted it to be spikey.”

Jeff Younger, who has been battling for custody of his twin boys for years, fears that a recent court decision will allow his ex-wife to move to California to circumvent a prior ruling and chemically castrate one of the twins.

Younger’s ex-wife, Anne Georgulas, has treated their now 10-year old son James like a girl since he was three, calling him “Luna,” clothing him in dresses, and presenting him in school as a girl. Amid a legal battle that granted her full custody of the children in 2021, Georgulas admitted multiple times under oath that she intends to “transition” James to a girl.

Younger argues that his ex-wife led James to socially present as a girl before he was mature enough to understand its implications. He previously explained to LifeSiteNews that James presented as a boy when he was with Younger, and a former LifeSiteNews reporter who met James observed that he “has the energy and spirit of a young boy,” and engaged in typical boy behaviors, including wrestling.

Dallas District Judge Mary Brown ruled September 21 that Georgulas can move James and his twin brother Jude anywhere in the U.S., and that she is not to disclose their future location to their father. She is currently located in the Dallas area, as is Younger.

Moreover, any of Younger’s visits to his children would have to be “supervised” in the county in which the children will reside, according to the ruling, as Jeff Morgan, a family law reform activist, explained in a YouTube video.

Younger told LifeSiteNews that Georgulas testified under oath in the most recent court hearing that she intends to move to California, which will likely allow her to bypass a prior court ruling that required Younger’s consent to perform “transgender” surgery on, or give puberty blockers to his son.

California has passed a bill that essentially prevents enforcement of other states’ laws that would “penalize individuals from obtaining gender-affirming care that is legal in California,” The Epoch Times shared.

“It is the public policy of the state that an out-of-state arrest warrant for an individual based on violating another state’s law against providing, receiving, or allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care is the lowest law enforcement priority,” states the California bill, which reached the desk of Gov. Gavin Newsom on September 9 and, if not vetoed, will become law.

“As soon as she’s there for a year, my sons will become citizens of California,” Younger said. “And then it becomes legal for them to castrate James. So they’ll chemically castrate him.”

Younger told The Epoch Times that he intends “to file an emergency stay in response to the Sept. 21 court order,” and will “ask that a previous jury verdict, allowing 50-50 custody and no child support, be reaffirmed.”

In 2021, Judge Brown gave full custody of the parents’ twins to Georgulas in a temporary order, after Younger was late in making child support payments, medical support, and interest. He paid his past-due support only “after the motion for enforcement was filed,” according to the judge’s ruling, the Times shared.

Younger had also ignored a court order prohibiting any discussions with the media.

Brown said in the September 21 ruling that Younger disregarded her order to attend therapy sessions, and that he had entirely neglected visits to his children over the past 13 months.

Younger told the Times that he was ordered not to change James out of a dress when he visited, which he firmly refused.

“I’ve told the judge I’ll just go to jail over that,” Younger said. “I’m not harming my son.”

He added that the judge had ordered him to pay hundreds of dollars for each supervised visit, and that “he was not allowed to see his children individually, and had to see them together.”

Younger further believes that the supervised visits were “a setup,” so that the court-ordered observer could complain about his refusal to call the boy Luna.

Georgulas, a pediatrician, has been granted the “sole right” to manage psychiatric and psychological treatment of the twin boys. This order came as a surprise to Younger as it was neither mentioned in court nor recommended by the custody evaluator, Benjamin Albritton.

Georgulas has taken James to a homosexual counselor who diagnosed him with gender dysphoria. Younger said that with the counselor, who affirms that James is a “girl,” James has identified as a boy.

“When I took James to see his gay counselor who affirms him as a girl, he went as a boy. She put two sticky notes down onto her desk. One had James on it. One had his fake girl name. She said, which name do you want to be called, pick up the sticky note. He picked up James,” Younger told LifeSiteNews.

Walt Heyer, a former transgender and current activist for those who regret their “transitions,” wrote in a piece published at The Federalist, “The glaring disparity between a child’s preferred identity when in the presence of one parent versus the other should cause a therapist to reassess, perhaps nullify the diagnosis of gender dysphoria, and terminate any steps toward transition. But in the case of James, this hasn’t happened.”

A conservative college student and a father at the heart of an ongoing battle over “transgender” children were evacuated by police from the University of North Texas (UNT) campus Wednesday evening to protect them from screaming leftist protesters storrming the halls.

For years, Jeffrey Younger has been locked in a legal battle with ex-wife Anne Georgulas over the latter’s efforts to “transition” their prepubescent son James into a “girl” named “Luna.” Georgulas has accused Younger of child abuse for refusing to treat his son as such, even as she has discussed subjecting James to “hormone suppression” between ages eight and nine, despite Younger’s insistence that his son prefers to remain a boy. Younger is currently running for a seat in the Texas House of Representatives.

The Daily Wire reported that on Wednesday evening Younger was attending a Young Conservatives of Texas event at UNT on transitioning children when the event was crashed by “at least” 70 protesters dressed in black, shouting epithets, and brandishing signs with messages about “hate speech.” Police entered the room to evacuate Younger and student Kelly Neidert, a Young Conservatives member who promoted the event. At one point, Neidert and an officer actually hid in a janitor’s closet to evade protesters.

“Initially when we were first led out of the building to evacuate, I felt like everything was gonna be under control, but after I was chased into the building with a police officer, when we were in this janitor’s closet, I honestly was very scared,” Neidert told DW. “This stuff hasn’t ever really seemed scary to me. I guess I don’t really care about the backlash I received, but when I was literally hiding in a janitor’s closet with a police officer and the lights off with these people running in the hallway, screaming, I mean, at that point I was pretty scared for my life.”

Tensions continued outside of the building, when apparent confusion among officers on the scene initially prevented her from entering a police car with Younger. After an officer realized she wasn’t one of the protesters, “that officer starts chasing after the car and they were having some difficulty leaving because there were about, I’d say 150 people that were at the back of the building at that point, and so of course, all these people are swarming and not wanting the police car to leave,” she recounted.

“So we tried to get the car to let us in, but if they had opened the door for me, these protesters would’ve been able to get in,” Neidert continued. “So they were unable to open the door and that car just left. And so then I had these police officers running with me to these other police cars, but for some reason, nobody had the keys to the cars. It was pretty frantic. So we didn’t really have time to wait and figure out who had keys to which car. And so at that point, people have realized that it’s me out there. They started screaming my name and were chasing after us. And so we run into a nearby building and the police officer locks the door behind us.”

Police “had a whole plan to evacuate us and got us out of there,” Younger told DW. “I’m not sure I was afraid for my life, but I really thought we were going to get into it.”

It’s suspected that the intimidation display may have been the work of leftists following the Antifa group Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club, which tweeted that UNT protesters should be “proud of what you accomplished and wary of the media hype circulating your faces” before making its Twitter account

The incident follows left-wing outrage over a recent order by Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott directing the state to investigate surgical and chemical “gender transition” procedures performed on minors as child abuse. Since the order was issued, mainstream media headlines have teemed with misleading headlines accusing Abbott of criminalizing “gender-affirming medical care,” “bullying children,” insinuating that the state would start investigating any parent whose child “identifies” with the opposite sex, and even having a “death wish for trans kids.”

Before the incident, leftists began a petition to have Neidert expelled for “harassment towards the trans community,” stemming from a viral video of her being verbally attacked for printing out flyers for the event at the campus library. That petition has gained over 17,000 signatures; the altercation also elicited death threats against her.

Amid this inflammatory left-wing rhetoric, UNT president Neal Smatresk issued a statement giving lip service to “diversity of thought” and “honor[ing] our First Amendment rights, even when we don’t agree with others’ opinions,” while signaling that he shared left-wing activists’ disapproval and characterization of “those with intolerant views,” whom he endorsed “disempowering” by exercising the “freedom to express yourself and the freedom to walk away.”

“I know the last several days may have felt particularly difficult for the transgender members of our community, due to the intolerant views of a handful of campus members,” Smatresk said. “We have a variety of resources through our Division of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access to support you during your time at UNT, and we hope to offer you a safe place to heal and grow your support system.”

I thought this was just about what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own bedrooms.

A hearing was held today in the ongoing tug of war between the divorced parents of James Younger, the nine-year old Texas boy whose mom refers to him as a girl named “Luna,” but whose dad wants to protect from “gender transitioning.”

James’ father, Jeffrey Younger, spoke out about his legal battle on behalf of his son earlier this week, telling LifeSiteNews’ John-Henry Westen that he was preparing for the possibility of going to jail for disregarding a court gag order.

The specter of jail time was eliminated early in today’s proceeding. Jeffrey Younger’s expressed concern about his ex-wife’s quest for one hundred percent control over all medical decisions for his son was also alleviated.   

James’ mother, Dr. Anne Georgulas, had originally petitioned the court to grant her unilateral rights to make decisions regarding “gender-affirming” surgical procedures for James, but amended that request Friday evening, just hours before this morning’s hearing.

“This litigation has been going on for six years, ever since the divorce proceeding was filed,” said Younger’s attorney, Connor Nash.  “Mom has always been the petitioner, has always been the aggressor.” “Not only does this constant litigation harm the kids, it harms [both] parties and the resources they can spend on their kids,” said Nash.

“So today, mom is trying to take exclusive control over the medical, dental, surgical, psychiatric, psychological, and educational decisions for the children,” explained Nash.  “Dad, for obvious reasons, wants to have a say in this,” he continued, “especially when one of the children is demonstrating some kind of gender issue.”

Nash noted that although James’ mom’s attorney opened by stating that today’s proceeding is not about the gender issue, he disagreed vehemently.

“It’s entirely about the gender issue,” declared Nash, “because that’s how the counseling argument got started.  One counselor was seeing the kid as a different gender than how the kid presents at the dad’s house, so he stopped participating in the counseling and he had a substantial and compelling reason for doing so.”

“He wanted to protect his kids,” added Nash.

At the close of the 4-hour hearing, Judge Mary Brown of the 301st Judicial District Court in Dallas, Texas, said that she continues to expect both parties to follow the “roadmap” provided in an extremely detailed 26-page order given to both parties on January 29, 2020.

Brown will issue her decision(s) concerning today’s hearing at a yet-to-be-disclosed future date.

This case is a landmark case on a father’s rights regarding a woman cutting his son’s penis off.

What that implies is that the father is going to lose.

But, you know – fingers crossed.

LifeSite has reported extensively on the story of James Younger, the boy whose father refuses to allow him to be transitioned to a female, even though his mom believes he is a girl. Jeff Younger, the father of James, currently has a gag order put on him, which prohibits him to speak out in defense of his son. But he has now decided to ignore that order, and save his child from irreversible surgery, even if it might possibly result in his arrest.

Jeff talked to me today about the latest developments with his son, as well as the real dangers of gender reassignment surgery and other “transititioning” methods. We also talked about his motivation for speaking out despite the possible consequences.

Currently, even though he shares 50/50 parental rights to James, which has allowed him to stop the chemical castration of his son, Jeff’s ex-wife recently sued to have full parental rights and to “give her sole medical and psychological decision making.” He is also being threathened with jail time from the gag order, which he believes was intentionally done to stop him from helping pass legislation in Texas to ban sex-change surgeries for minors.

Jeff says that the gag order “prohibits me from speaking on all manner of political topics. And I’m not even allowed to tell you in that gag order whether my son’s a boy or girl.” But Jeff is speaking out, no matter what, because of the real danger that his son is in if he undergoes transition surgery.

Jeff points out just how dangerous the “transitioning” methods are to psychological and physical health. He explains how “puberty blockers block the normal growth of the skeleton,” and mentions the problems with cross-sex hormones, which cause permanent sterilization.

Jeff tells me how he believes it is his right and duty as a father to protect his son and to disobey “any illegal order, mandate or law that especially endangers my son.” He says that he is guided by the belief that the God-given moral law is higher than any other human law from a judge or state.

Jeff states that he will continue to fight for children, and will not rest until transition surgery is “not only illegal, but socially unacceptable and morally reprehensible, and to cast this out of our culture altogether.”

He’s a good man.

It’s something that someone is fighting.
