While most of the West is promoting more lockdowns, more social distancing and more restriction of people’s freedoms, Sweden recorded its lowest number of coronavirus cases since March. That is without ever doing a lockdown and without ever telling Swedes to wear masks.

If our rulers had our best interests in mind and really cared about our health, they would follow Sweden’s lead and stop ruining the economy and people’s lives.

But by now, it is clear that the plan of our rulers is not what they say it is.

Daily Mail:

Sweden has recorded its fewest daily cases of Covid-19 since the pandemic’s peak in March.

The Scandinavian country, which was initially criticised for not implementing a lockdown, is now seeing significantly fewer cases than other European hotspots.

Its rolling seven-day average stood at 108 on Tuesday, its lowest number since March 13.

Only 1.2 per cent of Sweden’s 120,000 tests last week came back positive, date from their national health agency shows, according to The Guardian.

Their 14-day accumulative total of new cases is 22.2 for every 100,000 inhabitants, compared to 279 in Spain, 158.5 in France, 118 in the Czech Republic, 77 in Belgium and 59 in the UK.

All those countries imposed lockdowns in the grips of the pandemic in March but Sweden opted for a lighter approach which now appears to be paying off.

It is even outperforming its Scandinavian neighbours, Norway and Denmark, suggesting their approach may have helped them in the long term.

Sweden kept open schools for children under 16, banned gatherings of more than 50 people and told over-70s and vulnerable groups to self-isolate.

Shops, bars and restaurants stayed open throughout the pandemic and the wearing of masks has not been advised by the government.

In Sweden, the death rate has been falling steadily since April despite a peak of cases in the summer – with the country’s top epidemiologist saying that deaths can be kept low without drastic lockdown measures.

…

Sweden’s state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell, who has become the face of the no-lockdown strategy, said in a recent interview that voluntary hygiene measures had been ‘just as effective’ as complete shutdowns.

Anthony Fauci purposefully destroyed America as part of some lunatic conspiracy. Anders Tegnell saved his country from a globalist plot.

‘The rapidly declining cases we see in Sweden right now is another indication that you can get the number of cases down quite a lot in a country without having a complete lockdown,’ he told Unherd.

Tegnell added that ‘deaths are not so closely connected to the amount of cases you have in a country’, saying the death rate was more closely linked to whether older people are being infected and how well the health system can cope.

‘Those things will influence mortality a lot more, I think, than the actual spread of the disease,’ he said.

Meanwhile, Swedish economic activity has started to pick up and the effects of the downturn look less severe than previously feared.

Sweden was criticized heavily for its decision to go against what other countries were doing. Now that the no-lockdown strategy proved to be objectively better than the lunatic lockdown strategy, why aren’t the rest of the Western governments following Sweden’s lead?

The Swedish graph went up and went down, just like Anders Tegnell said it would.

It’s even better when you remember that Sweden didn’t sacrifice the mental health of the people, the economy and the entire fundamental order of society.

The Swede model worked. They solved the problem.

There is no excuse not to copy their approach now.

No-Lockdown Sweden Now has Lower Coronavirus Case Rate Than Nordic Neighbors Who Did Lockdown! https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/09/06/no-lockdown-sweden-now-has-lower-coronavirus-case-rate-than-nordic-neighbors-who-did-lockdown/ Sun, 06 Sep 2020 00:00:00 +0000

Anders Tengell speaking during a news conference updating on the coronavirus “pandemic.”

Sweden didn’t do a lockdown. The media and groups like WHO attacked them, saying that neighboring countries had fewer cases and fewer deaths. (They didn’t mention that the UK and other European countries had more deaths.)

Anti-lockdown hero Anders Tegnell, Savior of Sweden, pointed out that the other countries, by doing a lockdown, were likely just postponing the infections and inhibiting their ability to effectively develop herd immunity.

He was right.

Daily Mail:

Lockdown-free Sweden saw its coronavirus case rate drop below its Nordic neighbours Denmark and Norway today to just 12 new infections per million people over the past week.

In comparison, Norway saw 14 new infections per million people, and Denmark saw 18, meaning Sweden had an average case rate over seven days lower than its neighbours for the first time since March.

‘Sweden has gone from being one of the countries with the most infection in Europe, to one of those with the least infection in Europe,’ the country’s state epidemiologist Anders Tegnell said at a press conference earlier this week.

Meanwhile, ‘many other countries have seen a rather dramatic increase,’ he added.

At the height of the pandemic, Sweden’s infection rate dwarfed that of its neighbours, who did implement a lockdown.

At its peak on June 19, Sweden was seeing 108 new infections per million people, compared to Denmark and Norway’s eight and three respectively.

The number of deaths in Sweden is now averaging at two to three per day, compared to a peak of over a hundred per-day it suffered in mid-April.

Furthermore, its capital Stockholm, the epicentre of Sweden’s pandemic during the peak months of April and May, registered its lowers number of cases since March last week.

In Stockholm, 250 of 14,000 people tested last week were infected with the virus, a positive rate of 1.8 percent.

Meanwhile, Denmark registered 179 new cases on Friday, its highest daily total for more than four months.

To add to positive signs in Sweden, a test last week of 2,500 randomly selected people found not one had coronavirus.

In comparison, in a similar test, 0.9 per cent were found to have the virus at the end of April and 0.3 per cent at the end of May.

Announcing the results on Thursday, Dr Tegnell’s deputy at the Public Health Agency of Sweden, Karin Tegmark Wisell, said: ‘We interpret this as meaning there is not currently a widespread infection among people who do not have symptoms.’

Lockdown-free Sweden has been controversial for its liberal attitude to controlling the pandemic, preferring instead to let run through the population to create a ‘herd immunity’.

But the country’s latest figures may silence some of its critics, and will come as a relief to those who advocated for the approach and came under fire in May as the country saw the highest per-capita death rate in the world for a period.

Instead of implementing a lockdown, Sweden’s measures focused on voluntary social distancing guidance and hygiene recommendations, and it also refused to recommend the use of face masks, but has said they may be advised in the future.

Many businesses have also continued to operate, meaning the economy has fared significantly better than most.

But unlike many countries in Europe seeing a resurgence of cases, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Italy – Sweden’s figures seems to be continuing to head downwards.

‘What we see now is that the sustainable policy might be slower in getting results, but it will get results eventually,’ Dr Tegnell said. ‘And then we also hope that the result will be more stable.’

It would be nice to see all of the people who attacked Sweden for not doing a lockdown come out and state that they were wrong. But that’s not likely to happen.

What’s likely to happen is that they’re going to ignore this uncomfortable Sweden thing and continue to pretend that the lockdown is needed as they talk about the upcoming coronavirus vaccine.

So much for saving lives over saving the economy. Countries with a lockdown have not saved lives, they’ve totally destroyed the economy, and they’ve stripped the people of their basic rights.

Sweden, by not doing a lockdown and not forcing people to wear face masks, has saved both its economy and its people.

And it’s all thanks to this man, who refused to be bullied by international scum.

Sweden’s Chief Epidemiologist Says World Went Crazy with Lockdowns, WHO Misinterpreted Data https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/06/27/swedens-chief-epidemiologist-says-world-went-crazy-with-lockdowns-who-misinterpreted-data/ Sat, 27 Jun 2020 00:00:00 +0000

Anders Tegnell, Sweden’s chief epidemiologist.

Anders Tegnell prevented Sweden from succumbing to the Doom Virus narrative. Thanks to him, the country went the opposite way of the lockdown, and allowed people to keep their rights and jobs. This is a very uncomfortable fact for every government and organization that promotes the lockdown strategy.

The WHO is claiming that Sweden is now seeing a resurgence of coronavirus, but Tegnell has come out to set the record straight.

Daily Mail:

Sweden’s top virus expert has said the ‘world went mad’ with coronavirus lockdowns which ‘fly in the face of what is known about handling virus pandemics’.

Anders Tegnell, who advised Sweden to avoid full lockdown in favour of a ‘herd immunity’ strategy, said world leaders caved to political pressure amid panic – and that the crippling economic downsides of lockdown will far outweigh the benefits.

Sweden has confirmed 68,390 cases of coronavirus and 5,230 deaths – far above its Nordic neighbours, but its economy is intact and actually posted slight growth in the first quarter of this year.

Tegnell also hit out at the WHO after it placed Sweden on a list of 11 countries seeing a ‘dangerous resurgence’ in the virus, saying it had ‘totally misinterpreted’ the data.

He said a ‘surge’ in cases over the last week is actually the result of more testing, meaning mild cases that previously went undetected are now being counted.

Tegnell’s claims about the lockdown’s negative effects outweighing its benefits are in line with a JP Morgan study that showed that the lockdown was only useful to destroy the economy, and which also pointed out that most places that lifted the lockdown saw a decrease in cases.

His claim about the surge in cases being the result of doing more testing is in line with what we pointed out when the WHO claimed that they just had the biggest corona infection day ever.

Southern US states, Brazil and India are also seeing soaring case numbers currently – which leaders in those countries have also blamed on increased testing.

Tegnell pointed to a steady fall in deaths, hospital admissions and ICU admissions as evidence that Sweden’s outbreak is actually retreating, not getting worse.

It comes after WHO Europe director Hans Henri Kluge warned in a press conference on Thursday of 11 European countries were at risk of seeing their healthcare systems overwhelmed by a surge in infections.

The WHO later revealed Sweden was on that list, alongside Armenia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and Kosovo.

Tegnell said: ‘It’s a total misunderstanding, I would say.

‘They have looked at the number of cases per day and it has increased steeply over the past week.

‘This is entirely due to extended testing and that we find more mild cases. We see no evidence at all that our epidemic in Sweden is getting worse – on the contrary.

‘It is unfortunate that people are confusing Sweden with countries that have not previously had problems, which are obviously in the beginning. Sweden is nearing the end.’

Asked why the WHO had misinterpreted the data, Tegnell said no official had been in contact with Swedish authorities – meaning they missed the nuances.

He added that being included on the list could cause problems for Sweden, especially as countries decide where to allow their citizens to travel after their lockdowns end.

More infections or “cases” are obviously the result of more testing. Lots of people had the virus, or are currently infected with the virus without knowing. A few days ago, a study pointed out that the infection rate in America is 80 times greater than initially thought, which means that the death rate is 80 times lower than initially thought.

When Iceland randomly tested 10% of its population, they found that half of the infected don’t show any symptoms at all.

Coronavirus is about as dangerous as the flu. We have the data now.

If for some reason the government doesn’t have this data, then we should be asking ourselves why such incompetent people are in charge of our lives and future. If they are aware of these studies, which they most likely are, then we should be asking ourselves what their end game is.

Media Still Attacking Sweden for Not Locking Down, Even with the Crisis Finished https://www.anglinarchive.com/2020/05/24/458671-2/ Sun, 24 May 2020 00:00:00 +0000
Swedish people (and some black-haired folks who I believe are not Swedish) acting normal in Malmo on April 4, 2020, while the rest of the West was going insane.

The coronavirus problem is basically over, even according to official liars. Sweden, which refused to lock down like the rest of the West, has emerged with a death rate lower than most of the countries that did lock down. Certainly, there was no apocalypse.

Even though they might have a few more deaths per million than their immediate Scandinavian neighbors, all that their neighbors have done is put those deaths off until whenever they open up.

Basically, Sweden proves that the entire lockdown was a hoax, and whatever the reason was for destroying our economies and taking away all of our rights, it was not public health.

Somehow, even with all of this data out in public, the media is actually still attacking them and claiming that it was wrong for them not to shut down. They’ve found some woman to come out and whine about it.

Why was it wrong? Because of public health, or because it was an attack on the New World Order agenda being forwarded by the Jews?

The Guardian:

The predecessor of Sweden’s state epidemiologist has broken her silence on the country’s controversial coronavirus strategy, saying she now believes the authorities should have put in place tougher restrictions in the early stages of the pandemic to bring the virus under control.

Annika Linde, who oversaw Sweden’s response to swine flu and Sars as state epidemiologist from 2005 to 2013, had until now expressed support for her country’s approach under her successor, Anders Tegnell.

But she has now become the first member of the public health establishment to break ranks, saying she has changed her mind as a result of Sweden’s relatively high death toll compared with that of its neighbours, Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

“I think that we needed more time for preparedness. If we had shut down very early … we would have been able, during that time, to make sure that we had what was necessary to protect the vulnerable,” Linde told the Observer.

For two days last week Sweden had the highest per capita death rate in the world on a seven-day rolling average, and the overall death toll is expected to pass 4,000 this weekend.

Per capita death rates in Denmark, Finland and Norway, which all put in place far-reaching lockdowns, are now, respectively, four, seven and nine times lower than that of Sweden.

Again: that doesn’t mean anything.

Eventually, everyone is going to be exposed to the virus, and they will either die or they won’t. That was always admitted by the establishment in planning their response when Sweden planned theirs. That is why “flatten the curve” was a thing – it was about stretching out the number of infections over a longer period of time so that the hospitals would not be overwhelmed.

There was never, ever a plan to prevent infections, and no one mentioned such a thing until we were already in a lockdown. Then, all of a sudden, no one could explain what the plan for the lockdown was, only that it would be indefinite because of safety.

Anders Tegnell has become a figure of history.

One man who stood against the whole world.

When future historians attempt to parse out this astonishing event, they will have the reality of Sweden to look at and understand that the entire thing was a hoax from the word go.

That’s why I got this tattoo of his face on my arm.
