The Vatican has included an event organised by LGBT Catholics on its official online calendar for the upcoming 2025 Roman Catholic Holy Year, in an unusual sign of openness by the global Church toward the gay community.

A pilgrimage by the Italian group “La Tenda di Gionata” (Jonathan’s Tent), set for next September, is listed among the hundreds of events planned for the Jubilee, which is expected to bring some 32 million tourists to Rome next year.

The group, which describes its goal as to promote the welcoming of LGBT people within the Church, is expected to host a prayer vigil at a local Rome parish before making a trip to St. Peter’s Basilica.

A Vatican official told Reuters the inclusion of the group on the calendar did not imply support of its events.

There should also be a death penalty for non-homosexuals (or supposed non-homosexuals) who promote homosexuality as a public good in the way that the Vatican and the Pope are doing. Based on the most basic and accepted Christian doctrine, the Pope has committed a capital offense against all Christians and all people on earth by actively normalizing sodomy and promoting it as a public good.

The Vatican has excommunicated its former ambassador to the US, after finding him guilty of schism, an inevitable end for the firebrand conservative who became one of Pope Francis’ most ardent critics.

The Vatican’s doctrine office imposed the penalty on Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò after a meeting of its members on Thursday and informed him of its decision on Friday, a press statement said.

It cited Viganò’s “refusal to recognise and submit to the supreme pontiff, his rejection of communion with the members of the church subject to him, and of the legitimacy and magisterial authority of the second Vatican council.”

In other words: he’s right about everything.

The Vatican excommunication means that Viganò is formally outside the church, and cannot celebrate or receive its sacraments, for having committed one of the gravest crimes in canon law: schism.

Schism is considered particularly dangerous to the faith because it threatens the unity of the church. Viganò had created a following of like-minded conservatives and traditionalists over the years as he delved deeper and deeper into conspiracy theories about the coronavirus pandemic and what he called the “great reset”, plus other fringe ideas.

Viganò knew the schism declaration was coming after the Vatican informed him that it was launching a penal process against him last month. He called it “an honour” and refused to appear in person or in writing to defend himself.

Viganò, who issued a lengthy public statement last month justifying his conduct, didn’t directly respond to the schism declaration on X, his usual forum. About an hour before the Vatican decree was made public, he announced he would be celebrating a mass on Friday for those who had been supporting him and asked for donations.

In the dream scenario, Viganò declares himself Pope, and claims that Francis is an antipope.

More than likely though, he’s just going to join one of the existing sedevacatist groups.

But the ultimate move would be to say “actually, I’m the real Pope, and it’s time for all the Faithful to choose between me and this gay creep with the pagan idols and the abortion injections.”

Regardless of what he does personally, the schism has begun.

Pope Francis appointed three prelates, known for their support for homosexuality, to the Vatican’s doctrinal office Saturday, just as LGBT groups were kicking off gay pride month.

Edward Pentin, a veteran Vatican journalist and author of The Next Pope, noted that the three men, two of whom are cardinals, have all been on the front lines in the push to relax the Church’s moral teaching on the evil of homosexual acts.

Portuguese Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, who adopted a “Who am I to judge?” approach in his pastoral work with homosexuals in Lisbon, has been a public advocate for former sister Maria Teresa Forcades i Vila, notorious for her promotion of “queer theology.” Cardinal Tolentino wrote a preface to one of her books and invited her to speak at the launch of a book of his in 2016.

Semeraro also wrote the foreword to a book by Father Aristide Fumagalli (dubbed “the Italian version of Fr. Today, the feast of Candlemas, some 90 clergymen, scholars, and authors are publishing a new statement that joins the chorus of those Catholic voices opposed to the papally approved Fiducia Supplicans, a document permitting blessings of homosexual couples and other couples in irregular unions. The signatories address the bishops and cardinals of the Catholic Church, asking them to forbid such blessings in their respective dioceses and to ask Pope Francis to withdraw the document altogether.

The authors point out that there has been a very strong reaction against this document issued by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith and signed by Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández, saying that “a relevant part of the world episcopate has practically rejected it, due to its evident break with Scripture and the Tradition of the Church.” Even cardinals such as Cardinal Robert Sarah and Cardinal Gerhard Müller have spoken up against this Vatican document.

Therefore, the concrete sign that is given with such blessing, in front of the whole world, is that “irregular couples,” extramarital and homosexual alike, according to the Catholic Church, would now be acceptable to God, precisely in the type of union that specifically configures them as couples. Nor does it make sense to separate “couple” from “union,” as card. Fernández has tried to do, since a couple is a couple because of the union that gives existence to it.

Pope Francis has formally approved allowing priests to bless same-sex couples, with a new document explaining a radical change in Vatican policy by insisting that people seeking God’s love and mercy shouldn’t be subject to “an exhaustive moral analysis” to receive it.

The document from the Vatican’s doctrine office, released Monday, elaborates on a letter Francis sent to two conservative cardinals that was published in October.

In that preliminary response, Francis suggested such blessings could be offered under some circumstances if they didn’t confuse the ritual with the sacrament of marriage.

In the new document, the Vatican said the church must shy away from “doctrinal or disciplinary schemes, especially when they lead to a narcissistic and authoritarian elitism whereby instead of evangelizing, one analyzes and classifies others, and instead of opening the door to grace, one exhausts his or her energies in inspecting and verifying.”

It stressed that people in “irregular” unions — gay or straight — are in a state of sin. But it said that shouldn’t deprive them of God’s love or mercy.

“Thus, when people ask for a blessing, an exhaustive moral analysis should not be placed as a precondition for conferring it,” the document said.

I was really trying to be nice to Catholic Pope-defenders who were mad at me for saying this was inevitable. I said “let’s just wait and see,” as it was so glaringly obvious that this was coming down very soon, following the various statements made in the last few months.

I really feel for the people who didn’t want to believe it was possible, who believed that God would do a miracle to prevent this from happening, because they believed it was impossible for the Church to bless sin. I can’t imagine how hard this must be.

But the threshold has been crossed, and there is no longer any room to claim that the Vatican is going to use its authority responsibly. There is no room to claim that “it can’t happen.”

I know some people will continue claiming that. But this is the point at which I no longer feel a need to humor them. This is real life, it’s happening now, and all of the Hell that I’ve envisioned the Vatican endorsing will now be unleashed.

Francis told a meeting of the heads of Vatican offices last week that he was moving against Burke because he was a source of “disunity” in the church, said one of the participants at the 20 November meeting. The participant spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to reveal the contents of the encounter.

Francis said he was removing Burke’s privileges of having a subsidized Vatican apartment and a salary as a retired cardinal because he was using the privileges against the church, said another person who was subsequently briefed on the pope’s measures. That person also spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to reveal the details.

What does that mean he’s removing his privileges of having an apartment? Priests take a vow of poverty.

Is he going to have to sleep in the hall?

Burke has not received any notification of measures being taken, his secretary said in a text message Tuesday to the Associated Press.

Burke, a 75-year-old canon lawyer whom Francis fired as the Vatican’s high court justice in 2014, has become one of the most outspoken critics of the pope, his outreach to LGBTQ+ Catholics and his reform project to make the church more responsive to the needs of the ordinary faithful.

Francis is systematically removing people opposed to his extreme anal fisting agenda.

So he’s going on a blitz, paving the way for an anal extremist beyond what we can even begin to imagine.

Twice, Burke has joined other conservative cardinals in issuing formal questions to the pontiff, known as “dubia”, asking him to clarify questions of doctrine that had upset conservatives and traditionalists. In the first, they asked Francis to clarify his outreach to divorced and civilly remarried Catholics; Francis never replied. In the second, they asked whether same-sex couples could receive church blessings – and received a conditional maybe in response.

Then, on the eve of Francis’s big meeting of bishops last month, known as a synod, Burke presided over a counter-synod of sorts just steps away from St Peter’s Square in Rome. There, Burke delivered a stinging rebuke of Francis’s vision of “synodality” as well as his overall reform project for the church.

“It’s unfortunately very clear that the invocation of the Holy Spirit by some has the aim of bringing forward an agenda that is more political and human than ecclesial and divine,” Burke told the conference titled the Synodal Babel.

What the Pope is trying to do by “being more open to anal” is normalize homosexuality, to make it no longer a sin.

Burke has always defended his actions as being of service to the church and the papacy, saying it is his obligation as a cardinal and bishop to uphold church teaching and correct errors.

“The sheep depend on the courage of pastors who must protect them from the poison of confusion, error and division,” he told the 3 October conference, prompting applause from the crowd.

Burke, who spends much of his time in the US at the Our Lady of Guadalupe shrine he founded in his native Wisconsin, is the second American prelate to face punishment in what appears to be a new phase of Francis’s pontificate. This reform-minded period seems to have accelerated with the arrival in September of Francis’s hand-picked chief of doctrine, the Argentine cardinal Victor Fernández.

In a tweet Tuesday, Strickland expressed shock at reports that Francis had taken action against his fellow American, which was first reported by the conservative Italian newspaper La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana, the main sponsor of the Synodal Babel conference.

“If this is accurate it is an atrocity that must be opposed. If it is false information it needs to be corrected immediately,” Strickland said.

The three-week, closed-door synod will see hundreds of delegates delve into some of the hot-button issues facing the church, from the role of women to priestly celibacy and the blessing of gay couples. The meetings will end with a vote on specific proposals that are then put to the pope for his consideration in the coming years.

Rather than focus on a single topic as is usual, this synod’s agenda will address the broad question of how the Catholic church can be more inclusive. The change is reflected in the voting structure, with lay people also being allowed to vote for the first time.

So they’re being very inclusive in their discussion of how to become more inclusive.

While women are vital to much of the church’s work, from teaching in Catholic schools to staffing Catholic hospitals, the church continues to bar them from becoming priests or accessing the highest ranks of power.

Pope Francis has taken fledgling steps to address this imbalance, appointing several women to high-ranking Vatican positions. In recent weeks, a handful of progressives in the church have voiced hopes that the synod could be instrumental in laying the groundwork for women to eventually become priests.

However the agenda for the synod, which calls for concrete steps to promote women to decision-making roles and the “radical inclusion” of LGBTQ+ Catholics and others who have been marginalised by the church, has also rattled conservative factions.

The conservatives we’ve seen are not rattled, as they believe there will be a divine intervention to prevent this from happening.

If there is a divine intervention, that will be very awesome, of course.

But people need to start asking themselves what they are going to do if there is no divine intervention, and what we are witnessing play out plays out as it seems it obviously will (short of divine intervention).

Hopefully, no one banking on divine intervention will have a crisis of faith if that doesn’t happen.

The Pope is already condoning anal marriage by refusing to excommunicate the Germans who are doing anal marriage. He is appointing freaks and bringing women as close to becoming deacons and priests as possible, while continuing to claim he’s not going to do that.

There is no such thing as

1. gay marriage
2. gay marriage blessings
3. women priests

in the Catholic Church.

To pretend that any of those things exist is heresy.

The entire traditionalist Catholic movement flips out on Andrew Anglin whenever he points out that the Catholic Church is spiraling into oblivion by claiming that the worst possible scenario we can imagine hasn’t happened yet.

That’s the argument: “Well, it’s not actually that bad, because the worst thing we are capable of imagining hasn’t happened yet.”

In Germany, priests are blessing so-called “anal marriage.” They are going to do woman priests.

What is the worst thing imaginable? Human sacrifice at the Vatican? How bad does this have to get before it is acknowledged that the situation is out of control?

They make up more than half its membership, they have been denied a say for centuries in the way it is run: but, early next month, women will gather in Rome for a process that they hope can bring the Catholic church’s thinking on female equality into the 21st century.

The central event is a mass listening exercise announced by Pope Francis in 2021, the synod on synodality. Its delegates will meet in Rome throughout October to discern the future direction of key issues in the church; and at the forefront of soundings already taken across the 1.3 billion-strong Catholic church across the globe has been the role of women.

So, the Pope is meeting with these people.

Right now, all of the German Churches doing so-called “fister marriage” are not being excommunicated (even though according to the rules of the Church, they are already excommunicated by doing the thing they did).

I don’t know that woman priests are somehow worse than doing gay anal “marriage.” It’s impossible to say which is worse, as they are both “the worst thing imaginable.” It’s just that one thing is already happening in some Catholic churches and the other is not.

To underline this clamour for change, a consortium of 45 pro-reform Catholic organisations will run their own synod – entitled Spirit Unbounded – alongside the official event: and former Irish president Mary McAleese, who will be among its keynote speakers, says it is crunch time for Francis and his cardinals and bishops. “They have to do something more than a cynical exercise in kicking the can down the road,” she says. “If the cardinals and bishops can be humbled into listening to the people of God, maybe the Holy Spirit will have a chance to bring about change.”

There’s definitely a spirit at work here. But it’s not the Holy Spirit.

To be clear: homosexuals and loose women are encircled by demons.

If not, she says, it is hard to see a way forward in a church that has shedded members – certainly in Europe and the west – and been ravaged by abuse scandals, financial misconduct and a dearth of men signing up to become priests.

“The scandals show up the craven stupidity of so many of the members of the magisterium,” says McAleese, who was president of Ireland – a country that bore the brunt of Catholic abuse scandals – from 1997 to 2011. “And, of course, there have always been examples of appalling teaching: but we are in a different generation now, with a highly educated laity who are more than capable of critiquing church teaching,”

This is just open revolution, and this dried-up old prune should be excommunicated obviously, and furthermore, put in prison.

Right now, you can be excommunicated for ordaining a woman priest, according to the rules Pope Francis set himself. He actually added that. Why would he add that, when it was already assumed that this would obviously be the case, unless he wanted it directly challenged?

Women in particular, she says, are being “driven away”: “They’re seen as second class and they won’t put up with it any more.”

Also addressing the alternative synod will be Cherie Blair, who will tell participants that “the church’s track record on women is at best mixed”, but that it needs to change and should not be afraid to change. “There remains a strong sense that the church does not do enough for women, that its structures and teaching on matters such as birth control and its priorities do not always serve women well,” she says in a pre-recorded video message.

Tony Blair’s wife is Catholic, by the way. I just looked it up. She has an Irish Catholic grandmother who raised her after daddy left and mommy was very busy.

I wonder why she has all this animosity towards men though???

For many, top of the change agenda is female ordination: admitting women first as deacons, and in time as priests. Miriam Duignan of Women’s Ordination Worldwide, one of the organisations taking part in Spirit Unbounded, is expecting hundreds of pro-ordination supporters for a march in central Rome on 6 October, as the synod on synodality gets under way.

Not negotiable

Her organisation is also planning some “surprise” events, she says. “In almost every parish in the world where synod discussions took place, from Lesotho to the Philippines to Peru, women were talked about as an area where change is needed,” she says. “The Catholic church doesn’t have enough priests, and yet everyone knows nuns and laywomen who are already doing 90% of the work in the parishes – then they have to stand aside when a priest is needed to say mass.”

She adds. “Right now we’re at a tipping point: it’s clear that women are doing the work of priesthood, and they want to be recognised as priests.”

Yes. That’s true. Women have already been given all this power in the church, something explicitly banned by God. So it is really almost just a procedural matter to make them deacons and then priests.

It’s not the responsibility of individual Catholics to figure out a solution to this. However, individuals shouldn’t be defending it, or living in some fantasy world where it isn’t happening.

Francis’s language banning women from becoming priests was set to create a compromise where they become deacons. It’s it’s not actually a compromise, but a step towards the goal of woman priests and eventually a church totally run by women, which no one even cares about.

It’s important to remember that no one really believes in any of this gibberish. Gays are not actually Christians, uppity women do not believe in God. This is about destroying Christianity.
