Would you rather live 90 years without drinking alcohol or 88 years having a blast? How can these people pretend two years is somehow a high price to pay for improving your overall quality of life so much?

New York Post:

This is such a buzz kill.

As it turns out, consuming just one alcoholic beverage per day — whether it be a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a shot of your favorite spirit — can shorten your lifespan by approximately two-and-a-half months, one expert asserts.

Dr. Tim Stockwell, of the Canadian Institute for Substance Use Research, told Daily Mail that those who drink significantly more alcohol than that — about 35 beverages a week — could slash a staggering two years off their lifespan.

It’s a rude awakening for those who might like to unwind with a glass of pinot after a long day, or who frequent happy hours with friends or colleagues.

“Alcohol is our favorite recreational drug. We use it for pleasure and relaxation, and the last thing we want to hear is that it causes any harm,” he said. “It’s comforting to think that drinking is good for our health, but unfortunately, it’s based on poor science.”

Unfortunately, according to the doc, no amount of alcohol is safe for boozers — and his claims are backed up by science.

Hey, listen: I don’t even believe this.

But if you want to live to be 90 years old, you are sick.

As America’s Poet Laureate said:

Fuck that! Take drugs, rape sluts
Make fun of gay clubs, men who wear make-up
Get aware, wake up, get a sense of humor

Just live your life.

The wisest man who ever lived, King Solomon, said the best thing that you can do is eat, drink, and be merry.

He didn’t say “the best thing you can do is act like a neurotic faggot.”

Alcoholism is a Hoax, You Gay Retard https://www.anglinarchive.com/2023/10/25/alcoholism-is-a-hoax-you-gay-retard/ Wed, 25 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000

Previously: Article Title: Addendum to Previous Article or “The First Illness Revelation”

Ever since I explicated, as part of the Illness Revelations, that alcoholism is a valid and perfectly healthy lifestyle decision, I’ve gotten messages falsely claiming that this information is inaccurate. In fact, it is completely accurately, but probably, the language needs clarified.

My use of the term “alcoholism” is ironic, meant to mock the concept.

“Alcoholism” is a hoax created by Alcoholics Anonymous. “Addiction,” as a general matter, is a baseless fraud invented by ninnying women and embraced by the psychiatric industry as an extremely profitable swindle. The best part about “addiction treatment” is that it has a virtually zero percent success rate, which means that people are return customers to these treatment programs until they eventually drink themselves to death or overdose and die.

These people claim that “addiction is a disease,” which is an utterly nonsensical statement on its face. What is a “behavioral disease”? This is like something Ben Shapiro would fast-talk you with. It’s meaningless mumbo-jumbo. “Disease” has a definition. It’s a physical ailment. Behavior cannot be a disease. Behavior is the macro result of the decision-making process.

Let’s deal with “alcoholism” first, and just get this out of the way so that everyone is clear on the matter. Let’s do definitions.

There is a DSM definition, which contains a list of bad behaviors.

Those are 11 bad behaviors. I don’t endorse any of them, except #3, and maybe I would argue #5 is invalid (because why would you stop drinking?). I also think giving up a social activity in order to stay home alone and drink and read or listen to music or whatever is not a problem, assuming the scale is not extreme. Overall, those are bad behaviors, resulting from bad personal decisions.

However, that’s what those items are: bad decision-making. It is not a disease or a mental disorder. If you find yourself doing these things, you need to take a step back and examine your behavior and change your behavior. What’s more, the DSM says that if you do only two of these, you have “the disease of alcoholism.” That’s mental. If you do any number of these things, let alone only two, then I would assume you’re going through a rough time in your life.

And here’s the thing: the only reason you would be doing these things is because of other problems in your life. The alcohol is not making you do these things. You are doing these things to deal with dread, financial and relational problems. stress, anxiety, etc. Basically, you need to find better coping mechanisms, you need to work and pray more and drink less. Maybe get into the gym and/or Counter-Strike.

The DSM is much more reasonable than AA, however. AA simply counts the number of drinks, without considering the other behavioral parameters. AA says that if you drink more than 14 drinks a week – that’s 2 a day, friend – then you are an “alcoholic.”

A drink is defined by one shot, so if you have a double as a nightcap before bed every day, you are an alcoholic, according to AA, which means that you have a behavioral disease that is a result of the existence of alcohol. For the most of the last 9 or so years, I’ve drink 5-7 shots a day. This is about one 1.5 liter bottle of vodka per week. Sometimes I’ve drank less (not less than one, unless I was taking a break, or I’ll get a headache), sometimes significantly more (though not recently). This makes me, according to AA, a triple alcoholic. And yet, I have zero of the symptoms of the above list from the DSM (other than maybe sometimes preferring to stay home and drink alone and read or listen to music – sometimes video games, though I don’t drink much while gaming, it involves other parts of the brain – rather than socialize).

The concept is stupid, on every level.

There is “Problem Drinking” (Drunkenness) – But What’s the Cause?

Obviously, there are people who drink too much, and end up behaving badly. However, here’s the thing: all of these people have serious personal problems that do not involve alcohol. Sometimes, problem drinking can make the personal problems even worse (or better – it can present suicide or murder suicide and so on). However, they are using the alcohol to escape from any number of personal problems. No person who has a healthy family life and a stable job and church life becomes a sloppy stinking drunk on the street because he is “addicted to alcohol.”

There is pain that people dull with alcohol. That is its one purpose. If you have an extraordinary amount of pain, and you are not dealing with it with things other than alcohol, you can enter into out of control drinking.

Drug Addiction is Also a Hoax

Following the above explanation of how people drink too much because they have personal problems, people use drugs for this same purpose. I would include in that zone marijuana.

You won’t catch me riding on the Marrakesh Express. Though it’s very likely you’ll catch me listening to the song.

(That song is about hashish, but I’ve actually ridden the literal train from Casablanca to Marrakesh. I was hanging out at the back of the back car, throwing beer cans off the back, because beer was the only alcoholic beverage I could acquire in that Islamic nation. I do not smoke hashish – I drink alcohol. I want to apologize to the Arabs for the littering, but there was some concern about getting caught with the cans.)

The drugs are not the problem, the behavior is the problem. Of course, I support banning any hard drugs in a serious way, because I don’t see anything good about them in the way good comes from alcohol, but still – it’s not the drug’s fault.

No well-put together, happy family man living in a fulfilling life ever became a junkie because he had a “behavior disease” that made him incapable of resisting shooting heroin. That is retarded. Everyone knows that’s retarded.

I watched part of the show “The Nick,” about early surgery in the late 18th century, and these doctors were just cutting people up, trying to save them, and they were basically all dying. One of the doctors was shooting heroin to deal with the emotional difficulty of trying to save people’s lives and constantly failing and seeing their corpses. One of the other doctors killed himself. I didn’t watch much of the show, because it was just too depressing, but it’s a good example of the kind of person who develops these behaviors. He was also living in a Chinese brothel (funniest way to add diversity to a show ever) and engaging in fornication, as part of the coping mechanism of the extreme stress.

In terms of the “addiction” element – even for the hardest drugs of all, detox/withdrawal takes 1 week (don’t argue with me that it could be up to two weeks – average is one week, and two weeks is a very short amount of time). This means you feel like shit, sleep a lot, have diarrhea. For a week. Everyone can do that. It’s very easy. That is not “addiction.” It’s detox.

There is no such thing as addiction.

I’m not the only person that says this. A lot of smart people said it.

Here’s the man himself.

It’s not an illness. It’s not a psychosis. It’s a series of bad decisions, which are generally made because you have serious problems in your life.

If you do not have serious problems in your life, you can drink a moderate amount, very easily, and it will help you feel better and enjoy life.

God invented alcohol. It’s everywhere in the world. It makes itself from basically any plant matter. Regular alcohol drinking has been the core life strategy of of virtually all men, throughout all of history, with the exception of post-Islam Arabs and Moslems more generally. They do other things. Usually not mind-altering things, but marijuana is usually considered okay in Islam. At least in North Africa, everyone is smoking hashish all the time, and you watch them hit pipes before prayer. So these are religious Moslems.

Everywhere I’ve been in the world, more or less all men over the age of 30, and definitely over the age of 40, drink between 5 to 10 drinks per day. I would say that about 80% of the people who I consider very intelligent are significant drinkers. Further, every writer I’ve ever respected was a significant drinker.

I am a staunch defender of Adolf Hitler, and also the most prominent Putin shill in the English language. That might seem counterintuitive, but it’s really, really not. Hitler was against Slavs, but that is a complicated thing, which had a lot to do with hundreds of years of history, and then the Bolshevik revolution (Hitler was aggressively anti-communist, obviously). I wish there would have been a deal between Hitler and Stalin, because Stalin was no Lenin, but that didn’t happen. Anyway, there is a quote from Hitler where he says “the Russian concept of civilization is whatever keeps the vodka flowing.” Even with my deep love for Russia, I always thought that was very funny. Then at some point, I realized: “yeah, but what’s wrong with that?” We don’t want the vodka to stop flowing – the vodka keeps us alive.

One of the Illness Revelations is that all intelligent people are haunted by dread, and that even non-intelligent people have some form of struggle with internal pain that is constant. This comes from the fact that you are separated from God.

Drunkenness is a Sin

For some reason, we don’t see women complaining about gluttony, and in fact they promote it. Also, note that this is “the heavy drinker.” Not “the drinker” – just like it’s “the glutton” and not “the person who eats food.”

The Bible says clearly that “drunkenness is a sin.”

But what does that mean?

The definition of drunkenness is very clear: you are “drunk” in the Biblical sense when you’ve drank enough alcohol to have lost your moral reasoning, lost control of your behavior, and you are therefore more likely to commit other sins. Primarily, these would be sexual sins (including lust), but it could also be getting in fights, or other things.

Of course, that’s not always an obvious threshold, so you have to be aware of your own body, your own tolerance. Obviously, “blackout” is drunkenness, but there is a point that you cross before blackout – sometimes after “pretty buzzed.” I think we all understand the concept, but in terms of how many drinks, you just have to be aware of your own limits, and drink responsibly, in order to avoid the sin of drunkenness.

Personally, I don’t even usually get buzzed. I drink to calm my nerves. It also helps with sleep. I do not get hangovers, ever.

I do know there there was (and I guess technically still is) a point at which I drink enough that I say “okay, I’m going to the brothel.” But I am well aware that it takes three drinks behind my normal drinking for that thought to come up, and then about three past that for me to call a taxi. I do not even go into that realm, because I am a responsible, Christian drinker.

I Would Never Encourage Anyone to Start Drinking

I would think this is obvious, but I’m not encouraging anyone to start drinking. If you have your own coping mechanisms, and do not feel an urge to drink, and do not feel like you are sinking into the abyss, then you have no reason to drink.

Certainly, if you’re a Moslem, don’t violate your culture and conscience. (Also, you should accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior – but that’s not really my job to harass you on that. Our Moslem bros are capable of making their own decisions, and they know my views on Jesus. I’m not going to badger them. Shoutout, bros – #FreePalestine.)

The Day is Coming Soon.

The matter at hand is: I’ve had a feeling, created by feminist society, that the amount I drink must be a problem, and that I should be doing something else to deal with my personal dread. I now realize that there is no problem with this coping strategy. It is not causing me problems. It helps with my work.

The problems alcohol has caused for me have been related to drunkenness, when I’ve done things I shouldn’t have. But I now understand the Christian definition of drunkenness, and I avoid it like the plague. If I’m out with people, and they’re drinking a lot, they don’t notice that when I’m reaching my threshold, I start order non-alcoholic beverages, or simply start nursing my drinks. Even when people are trying to cheers you, you can just take a very small sip.

This is not something that is hard to control. You might think it is hard to control, and maybe it is harder for you to control than it is for me, but if you are compelled to drunkenness, you are behaving irresponsible, and should change your behavior. If you think not drinking at all is the only way to solve it, and you think you can survive that, then hey – I’m not your dad.

In my experience, when people are drinking too much and so they decide to stop drinking completely, that lasts at best six weeks, and then they are back to totally irresponsible drinking. When I have counseled people who are drinking too much, I tell them “you should drink less.” I do not tell them they have a disease and have to never have a drink for the rest of their lives (official position of AA).

The piece of advice I give men having this problem is to measure the amount of alcohol they feel comfortable drinking in one day in a separate jar, and only drink that much. So, if you’re comfortable drinking five shots a day, pour five shots into a jar, and say “this is how much I’m going to drink today.” When people do this, a psychological thing happens, where they sometimes don’t even drink all of it, because they are worried about running out.

If you are drinking a whole lot, you can also taper. If you’re drinking 15 shots a day, Load the daily limit jar up with 12 shots, and then slowly reduce it. I only weigh 72 kilos (which I guess is about 145-150 pounds, I don’t really know), so a lot of men weigh more than me, but I would think 8 shots per day is the high end (unless you’re a fat slob, in which case you have other problems you need to deal with).

I do not advise anyone to drink beer, as it is filled with chemicals and estrogen. I don’t really advise whisky either. A couple glasses of red wine a week is okay. However, Vodka is the master race of alcohol.

Weekend Binge Drinking

Probably, women should not drink at all – at least not until they are post-menopausal. They do not have a requirement to dull the Dread.

I am totally opposed to weekend binge drinking. I have done it a lot, and it’s never resulted in anything good, and “binge drinking” implies crossing the Christian threshold of drunkenness.

It’s fine to go out in social situations where others are binge drinking, as long as you are capable of controlling your alcohol intake. If you’re not capable, then you should avoid these kinds of social engagements. I think you probably are capable, as long as you commit to it beforehand.

I’m Right

Unfortunately for my detractors, I am, once again, right.

The Bible is clear about the nature of drunkenness.

And history is clear that the temperance movement was an utterly vaginal movement, created by women, who do not like men being able to have their own alone time or even though own decision-making about their behavior.

History is also clear that virtually all great men were very regular drinkers.

The current year is clear that everyone in the world drinks more than the vaginalized anglosphere, and that the anglosphere engages in the most irresponsible forms of drinking – beer and weekend binge drinking.

Here’s the bottom line: drink responsibly.

And of course, if you don’t need to drink, then don’t. There is no need

(Note: I don’t think having a few drinks while driving is “irresponsible,” and I think the MADD bullshit – women again! – is literally communism.)

In conclusion, watch this:

This is great too:

“Drunk driving” laws absolutely are communism.

Period.

Hahhahaha.

How is liberation working for you, you stupid cunt?

Alcoholism is a good way for you whores to die – it’s very slow and painful.

New York Post:

A rising number of women are succumbing to alcohol-related deaths, a new study published in JAMA Network on July 28 found.

While males historically have been more than twice as likely to die from alcohol-related conditions than females, the gap appears to be narrowing.

Researchers from Hofstra University in New York, Harvard Medical School and the University of South Carolina analyzed nearly 606,000 deaths linked to alcohol between 1999 and 2020, based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data.

Mortality has been rising for both genders, but the spike has been sharper among females.

Hahahaha.

But seriously – in a normal society “rising mortality” would be considered a problem.

In America, it’s considered a non-issue, or maybe actually even a good thing.

Men’s mortality rate increased by 12.5% between 2018 and 2020, while the rate among women increased by 14.7%, the researchers found.

The most prominent increase was seen in the last three years of the study.

The higher mortality increase among females remained even after excluding data from the first year of the pandemic, the researchers noted.

“This finding is concerning because women experience greater health consequences from drinking alcohol compared to men,” Dr. Shana Johnson, a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician in Scottsdale, Arizona, told Fox News Digital.

Johnson was not involved in the study.

The deaths were linked to alcohol-related poisoning, gastritis, cardiomyopathy, myopathy, liver disease, polyneuropathy and pseudo-Cushing syndrome, among others, according to the journal article.

Hahahahaha.

“The changing patterns of alcohol consumption among women are an important consideration in understanding these trends,” the study authors wrote in a discussion of the findings.

“Women are now drinking alcohol at higher amounts and frequencies than in the past, likely due to the normalization of alcohol use for female individuals in society.”

One potential reason for the uptick in drinking rates among women is a rise in stress levels and stress-related disorders in recent years, the researchers said.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

“Stress plays a major role in the development and maintenance of disordered drinking,” Johnson said.

“It is not a big leap to look at soaring food and housing costs and think that chronic stress is taking its toll in the form of increased alcohol use to cope with today’s hardships.”

Don’t anyone forget – we’re on our way to utopia.

We’re on the cusp.

You people think this “utopia” thing is a joke, but look at the actual platform of the Democrats and the left generally. They are literally advertising a utopia, and claiming that mass death, forced drugging, homelessness, endless war, and just general total human alienation, are actually signs of the coming utopia.

This is their platform.

New Pandemic! 20% of American Adults Dying from Binge Drinking! https://www.anglinarchive.com/2022/11/05/new-pandemic-20-of-american-adults-dying-from-binge-drinking/ Sat, 05 Nov 2022 00:00:00 +0000

I died from binge drinking twice this week, and I’m still alive.

What excuse do these people have?

New York Post:

Before you reach for another cocktail, consider this. Binge drinking is to blame for 20% of the deaths of American adults between the ages of 20 and 49 over a recent four-year period, a new study found.

The findings were published Tuesday in the journal JAMA Network Open. When the age bracket is extended to 20-64, consuming excessive alcohol is tied to one in eight deaths.

Researchers examined national and state mortality data from 2015-19, noting that deaths fully attributable to alcohol have risen in the past decade.

…

According to the study, the three leading causes of alcohol-related deaths in each age group were the same for men and women. For example, for adults 20 to 34 years old, these were “other poisonings,” vehicle crashes and homicide.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated one in six adults binge drink — classified as four or more drinks in one sitting for a woman and five or more drinks for a man — with a quarter of them binge drinking at least weekly.

The data from the new study shows the percentage of deaths fully caused by alcohol (such as alcoholic liver disease) is higher among men (15%) than women (9.4%). By location, these deaths comprised 9.3% of total deaths in Mississippi versus 21.7% in New Mexico.

The study’s authors say the number of premature deaths could be reduced with policy changes such as increasing alcohol taxes.

Yes.

Mommy should take the bottle away from baby.

Make the taxes so high people can’t afford to numb the pain of life.

What they don’t tell you is that binge drinking is the main thing preventing suicide.

Despite the dates given, which go back before the vax, it’s hard to see a story like this and not tie it to the media’s current agenda of explaining away the mass death that is happening.

I’ve never personally known anyone who died from binge-drinking. I know several that died from the vax. That’s anecdotal of course, but check your own life.

UK: Deaths from Alcohol Reach Record High During Lockdown https://www.anglinarchive.com/2021/02/05/uk-deaths-from-alcohol-reach-record-high-during-lockdown/ Fri, 05 Feb 2021 05:15:05 +0000

This is shocking.

No one could have predicted that turning society on its head, banning work and social interaction, would result in an increase in alcoholism.

Well, a couple people predicted it, but they were neo-Nazis and Russian anime masturbators, and we couldn’t listen to them because they are pure evil.

BBC News:

Deaths caused by alcohol hit a new high during the first nine months of 2020, provisional figures for England and Wales show.

Between January and September, 5,460 deaths were registered with this cause – up 16% on the same months in 2019.
It is the biggest toll recorded since records began in 2001.

The high rates spanned the period during and after the first Covid lockdown, the Office for National Statistics figures show.

It reached a peak of 12.8 deaths per 100,000 people in the first three months of 2020 and remained at this level through to September – higher than in any other time on record.

As in past years, rates of male alcohol-specific deaths were twice those seen for women.

Experts say the coronavirus pandemic will have had little effect on how the data was gathered and recorded.
But it is not clear how much it may have contributed to the deaths.

As I’ve said from the absolute beginning: there is no scenario where the deaths from the lockdown will not be much higher than the deaths from the virus. That’s true even if you believe the official statistics. Even some official studies have admitted this, but ultimately decided that it is better to let people die from substance abuse, suicide, medical problems caused or worsened by the lockdown, and so on, than it is to let them risk getting the flu.

I don’t personally know anyone who has died from coronavirus. I also don’t know anyone who knows anyone who has died from the coronavirus. However, I know people who died from substance abuse issues in 2020. I think we all do.

These people do not care about our health, they never cared about our health, this was always about control.

What are you going to do if you have no money, your wife left you, your kid is a tranny, you’re being overrun by monkeys from everywhere and your life is just complete shit?

Well, the simple solution to all of those problems is to get completely wasted.

CBS News:

A new study estimates more than one in 10 older Americans binge drink. That’s an increase from the previous decade. The study, out this morning from the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, determined binge drinkers 65 and older were more likely to be men; they’re also more likely to use tobacco or cannabis.

Binge drinking is defined as five or more drinks at a time for men, and four or more drinks at a time for women. Researchers say the habit can be more dangerous for older people, putting them at risk for a range of health problems.

One of the findings of the study is that an estimated 70 percent of all hospitalized older persons, and up to 50% of nursing home residents, have alcohol-related problems in general.

“When we think about binge drinking, the image we usually think about is younger adults or college students, but this is in fact a growing trend in older Americans,” said Dr. Tara Narula on “CBS This Morning” Wednesday. “It’s been under-reported in both the scientific literature and in the media, but the problem is that the alcohol has a very strong effect on people who are older. They’re more vulnerable to the health problems than even a younger population.

“Currently around 10.6% of older Americans are binge drinkers. In the previous decade, it was anywhere from 7% to 9%. So, that number is growing. Also growing: just general increase in alcohol use and any sort of harmful alcohol use.”

America is an absolute shithole country, so the fact that more people aren’t dying of drug overdoses or suicide is a testament to our resiliency as a people.

I don’t support binge drinking, but it is what it is. People are going to deal with things how they deal with them, and people have a lot of things to deal with.

Lawyer Claims 14-Year-Old Boy Who Shot and Killed His Drunk Mother Acted “Bravely and Legally” https://www.anglinarchive.com/2019/07/24/lawyer-claims-14-year-old-boy-who-shot-and-killed-his-drunk-mother-acted-bravely-and-legally/ Wed, 24 Jul 2019 00:00:00 +0000 Pomidor Quixote

It’s good to know that some people openly recognize the heroism behind sons shooting their toxic mothers.

Daily Mail:

The attorney for a boy who was 14 when he shot and killed his drunken mother has said that the shooting was justified in self-defense.

Lisa Trimmell, 41, was at home with her sons, then aged 12 and 14, when she was killed by a gunshot wound to the side of the neck on June 20, 2018 outside of Wichita, Kansas.

This week, attorneys for her elder son filed a motion to dismiss a charge of voluntary manslaughter that is pending in juvenile court, citing self-defense.

The older brother ‘acted bravely and legally in defending himself and his younger brother … from her attack,’ said lawyer Dan Monnat, according to the Wichita Eagle.

‘For many years, Lisa Trimmell was a devoted, loving mother who raised two intelligent, polite and well-behaved young boys to lead good lives,’ Monnat said. ‘But, the autopsy of Lisa Trimmell confirms her death is another instance of the rampant disease of adult alcohol abuse leading to tragic results.’

An autopsy confirmed that Trimmell had a blood-alcohol level of 0.185 at the time of her death, more than double the legal limit to drive, and found signs of ‘hepatic cirrhosis’ consistent with ‘acute and chronic alcoholism’.

However, prosecutors have yet to lay out their case, and declined to comment except to say that the teen was due in court on Friday.

It is alleged that the mother attacked the younger kid and that the older brother grabbed her gun and fired one shot, but it doesn’t really matter because she was a divorced alcoholic.

Boys shooting their alcoholic and/or divorced mothers should be legal and encouraged.

Having mothers as authority figures if fathers are no longer married to them (for whatever reason) is a ridiculous proposition. In fact, having women in any kind of position of authority is batshit crazy.

Women are weaker and dumber than men, even when they’re more “educated” than men.

Perhaps especially when they’re more “educated” than men.

They have no wisdom, no strength and no burning drive to create and achieve.

There is nothing in them that men should respect, except for their ability to grow and pop out babies. But the merit of motherhood is not enough to rule over men. Although absolutely necessary, it’s not really that impressive. Every mammalian female does kind of the same life-gestation thing minus the constant whining. In contrast, no mammalian male does what men do.

Why are we allowing women to rule over boys and men? Divorced mothers, school teachers, politicians, coworkers, bosses — none of them have anything worth admiring.

The vast majority of them are incapable of mentoring and giving any kind of worthwhile advice (the tiny minority that is capable of that is just repeating the words of men) and they’re messing up their kids’ minds with a smile on their face.

It’s time to put these creatures back where they belong.

I have already said I think he must have been drunk when he made these statements, because even if he wanted to say them, why would he say them to a book author instead of the press directly?

CNN:

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon said Sunday he regretted not responding sooner to comments attributed to him that were critical of Donald Trump Jr. in an explosive new book on the White House.

“Donald Trump, Jr. is both a patriot and a good man,” read Bannon’s statement, which CNN obtained Sunday from a source close to Bannon. “He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around.”

The statement later adds: “I regret that my delay in responding to the inaccurate reporting regarding Don Jr has diverted attention from the president’s historical accomplishments in the first year of (Trump’s) presidency.”

Along with the above statements made to Axios, he released a media statement saying he was actually talking about Paul Manafort when he said “treason.”

The Guardian:

The Guardian revealed last week that Bannon, formerly Trump’s chief strategist, said a Trump Tower meeting between Trump Jr and Russians during the 2016 presidential election campaign was “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”.

In his statement given to the Guardian and other outlets on Sunday, Bannon did not apologise for any of his remarks to the author Michael Wolff, which included strident criticisms of the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump – whom he called “dumb as a brick” – and her husband, Jared Kushner.

But he said he should have been quicker to clarify that his remarks about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower referred to Trump’s then campaign chairman, who was also present.

“My comments were aimed at Paul Manafort, a seasoned campaign professional with experience and knowledge of how the Russians operate,” Bannon said. “He should have known they are duplicitous, cunning and not our friends. To reiterate, those comments were not aimed at Don Jr.”

This is pretty garbled. Apparently he is saying he was misquoted? As in, words that he did not say were attributed to him?

If that was the case why didn’t he immediately come out with the statement?

The White House is saying Steve will never be invited back into confidence.

The Hill:

A White House official told Politico that it was “unlikely” Stephen Bannon would return to his former status in President Trump’s circle after Bannon released a statement reiterating his support for Trump.

Bannon called Donald Trump Jr. a “patriot” and a “good man” in a statement earlier Sunday, adding that he regretted not addressing comments attributed to him in a new bombshell book about Trump’s White House.

However, Politico reported that several Trump administration officials said the statement did not change the views of Bannon by those close to Trump.
Bannon said in the statement that his support for Trump was “unwavering” and that “President Trump was the only candidate that could have taken on and defeated the Clinton apparatus.”

Trump releasing a blistering statement claiming that Bannon “lost his mind” after the comments attributed to Bannon first emerged.

The former chief strategist is quoted in Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” as saying the Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer was “treasonous.”

“They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV,” Bannon says in the book.

I think it’s fair enough to dump the guy.

The question now is whether or not Breitbart will dump him, and I think that if they are able, they will.

It’s all very sad. I don’t understand why someone would destroy their career and their legacy this way.

I guess the lesson is: if you’re totally plastered, go home. Don’t talk to reporters you may pass on your way home.
