Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms:

The Justice Centre is disappointed that the Alberta Court of Appeal decided that the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms does not apply to Alberta Health Services’ and Alberta transplant doctors’ Covid-19 vaccine policy for transplant candidates. Sheila Annette Lewis challenged AHS’ and her transplant doctors’ Covid-19 vaccine policy which required her to receive the Covid-19 vaccines before she could receive a life-saving transplant.

The appeal was heard on Thursday, October 20, 2022, by video-conference. Ms. Lewis argued that the Covid-19 vaccine policy infringed on her Charter-protected rights of conscience, life, liberty and security of the person, and equality rights. Even though the Court of Appeal agreed with the lower court that the Charter did not apply to the policies, it proceeded to issue reasons finding that her Charter rights were not infringed.

Ms. Lewis also argued that the lower court erred in its finding that the Alberta Bill of Rights did not apply to Covid-19 vaccine policies because the Charter didn’t apply. The Court of Appeal did not deal with this ground of appeal or make any findings in respect of it.

This case is under a publication ban. Due to a Court Order, the Justice Centre may not reveal the names of the doctors, the hospital, the city where the transplant program is located, or the name of the organ that Ms. Lewis needs for life-saving surgery.

In support of her Charter and Alberta Bill of Rights arguments, Ms. Lewis filed expert reports from an award-winning immunologist, and a viral immunologist, who is also a vaccinologist. These reports showed that the Covid-19 vaccines are still in clinical trials to assess their safety and efficacy, that they are not effective, and that they have a concerning safety profile. She also filed an expert report from a surgeon with a Master’s degree in Health Care Ethics. This surgeon opined that the benefit of vaccination for Ms. Lewis was so small that it was unethical to require her to get the Covid-19 vaccine prior to her transplant. The existing policies make no allowance for natural immunity. Ms. Lewis notes that AHS will do transplants for patients who are not vaccinated for Covid-19, provided they have a medical exemption.

You can either die from being denied a life-saving surgery.

Or you can die suddenly.

Alberta is reporting an unprecedented increase in ill-defined and unknown causes of death in 2021.

That category is leading the way over dementia, which has been in the top spot since 2016, and COVID-19, which began adding to the death tally in the province in a big way in 2020.

In 2021, ill-defined and unknown causes of death snagged the first spot with 3,362, up from 1,464 in 2020 and 522 the year before that, according to statistics from the Government of Alberta.

The unknown causes of death category only began appearing on the list in 2019 — there is no record of it ranking before then, dating back to 2001.

“I think it’s probably multifactorial, so there’s probably many things playing into that,” said Dr. Daniel Gregson, an associate professor in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, specializing in infectious diseases and microbiology.

Gregson believes those factors include lack of resources to determine the cause of death in certain cases, delayed access to healthcare services and post-COVID complications.

“We have this impression of surviving COVID and that’s the end of it, and that’s not necessarily true,” he told CTV News.

Gregson points to a large study out of the U.S. that found people who had COVID-19 are at a higher risk of heart disease, stroke, pulmonary embolisms and death compared to those who haven’t been infected. The risk is even higher for those who end up in hospital or the ICU with COVID.

“We do expect that there will be deaths that aren’t directly related to COVID, but indirectly related to COVID to occur after the diagnosis in patients after the first month of infection,” he said.

“One would expect that some of those patients are going to survive the COVID and then die at home from other complications.”

Alberta Health and the medical examiner’s office said they are looking into the data, but have yet to provide an explanation for the sudden spike in deaths of unknown causes.

Dementia was the second leading cause of death in Alberta in 2021. COVID-19 took the third spot.

COVID-19 deaths increased to 1,950 last year from 1,084 in 2020 when the pandemic began.

“COVID still is quite high up there as we expected. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to actually eliminate COVID deaths in the province, despite our availability of vaccines. So, that’s a bit disappointing,” Gregson said.

He said stricter restrictions in 2020 helped prevent transmission and kept case numbers low, while in 2021 cases were much higher but vaccine availability helped reduce the number of deaths.

“I think the fact that that number is not in the top spot is essentially a medical miracle in us being able to get out vaccines in less than 18 months to the average person in Canada.”

CTV is one of the main Canadian broadcasters.

Why wouldn’t they try to cover this up?

Kathleen Lowery, an academic at the University of Alberta, has been fired from her role as associate chair of undergraduate programs in the Department of Anthropology for expressing gender-critical feminist ideas, according to the Centre for Free Expression.

“Kathleen Lowrey, an associate professor at the University of Alberta, was asked to resign from her role.. All Professor Lowrey has been told is that she is somehow making the learning environment “unsafe” .. because she is a feminist who holds “gender critical” views.”

It was in March that Lowrey was asked to resign from her position. She was told that the reasons for this were that the learning environment she created was “unsafe” for students. This was as per the University, “on the basis that one or more students had gone to the University’s Office of Safe Disclosure and Human Rights and the Dean of Students, André Costopolous, to complain about her without filing formal complaints.”

This thing they fired her from was a separate useless sinecure from her teaching, so she can still go on telling people about how biology doesn’t exist in the things that don’t affect her.

Still, that doesn’t mean she won’t have other problems.

Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists (TERFs), which is what the slightly less insane feminists are called, are getting hammered on all fronts, sometimes literally.

The University of Alberta justified its decision on the basis that a student, or students, informally complained to its Office of Safe Disclosure and Human Rights that Lowery made the learning environment feel “unsafe” for them by voicing gender critical feminist ideas.

As a teacher of young people with curious minds, Lowery said her method is to summarize her views on the first day of any course about sex or gender, along with a declaration that students are not required to agree with her. She took this approach to her 2020 course on the “Anthropology of Women.”

It is difficult to imagine how a teacher could communicate knowledge on that topic without reference to biological sex, as opposed to the relatively recent academic trend of gender identity. However, Lowery’s employers felt that her reference to the importance of biological sex broke with orthodoxy to such an unacceptable degree that she had to go.

The University did not give any reasons for dismissal, other than the fact an informal complaint had been received. They said that “it is not in the best interests of the students or the University” for Lowery to continue in her post. In effect, an institution of learning claims it is “protecting” its anthropology students from confronting the reality, and importance, of biological sex, because the students don’t want to have to think about it.

I can’t even imagine the amount of mental gymnastics I’d have to perform to convince myself that spending 4 years of my life in a place like this would teach me anything worth knowing.

I guess if I were studying engineering or medicine or something.

But even so, just the thought of being around people like this…

It is remarkable how much power the students now have—over female teachers, at least. All they need to do is whisper the magic word “transphobia” behind closed doors for the institution to show her the door.

Such is the power of the student as consumer, in an age of intense conformity of thought within liberal institutions. All it takes is hearsay from one or two students for the usual rules of employment disputes to fall away: no formal complaints process, no transparency regarding the nature of the accusations made, no disciplinary process.

Under the banner of “progressivism,” we have regressed to a stage where careers and livelihoods can be destroyed behind closed doors, where any deviation from orthodoxy is framed as a damnable heresy, where matters of individual conscience and freedom of thought and expression fall by the wayside.

All of this shows us just how fragile gender ideology is, if one woman teaching an anthropology course can be made out as public enemy number one just because she knows sex is real, and that it matters.

Monika Schaefer, the brave German-Canadian who recently released a video explaining how she had come to realize the story that six million Jews were gassed and then turned into lampshades and soap during WWII is a giant hoax, is now the victim of a “human rights complaint” from a vicious Canadian cuckold named Ken Kuzminski in her home town of Jasper, Alberta.

On her Facebook page, Monika Schaefer lists herself as a self-employed violin instructor.

In the first five seconds of her video titled “Sorry Mom, I was wrong about the Holocaust,” the former Green party candidate is shown deftly playing the violin.

However, it’s not her violin playing but what she says in the video that is garnering all of the attention.

Less than three minutes into the video Schaefer, who was born in Canada of German heritage, tells a story of how as a child she was taught to believe the Holocaust happened.

She goes on to say she confronted her parents about why they didn’t do anything to stop the Holocaust. They replied they didn’t know it was happening. Schaefer says her parents didn’t know about the genocide because “these things did not happen.”

Later in the video she says that since 2014 she started to realize the Holocaust “is the biggest and most pernicious and persistent lie in all of history.”

Throughout the video she expresses her firm belief that six million Jews did not die at the hands of Nazi Germany and refers to the Holocaust as “the six-million lie.”

Human rights complaint

Reaction to her video has been wide ranging.

In the comments section under her YouTube posting, there are supporters — some even applauding her for “speaking the truth.” But just as many are condemning the Jasper music teacher’s comments.

Ken Kuzminski is one of them.

Kuzminski used to be friends with Schaefer but says that all changed after he saw her video. He says many people have approached him in the town of Jasper in disbelief over what Schaefer has said.

“It is a hate crime in my mind and I believe it should be investigated as such,” said Kuzminski, who is also the president of the local Legion in Jasper.

He called someone having a different opinion on an historical event as the Jews a hate crime!

It’s real in his mind!

Now he is harassing a little old lady for the Jews!

The Jews themselves weren’t even so bold as to go after this sweet old lady, recognizing it only would make them look bad and give her free publicity:

The Edmonton Jewish Federation wasn’t aware of Schaefer’s YouTube video or its contents.

After watching it, Tal Toubiana, the director of community relations and communications for the federation, was hesitant to give Schaefer any further attention.

“Any media coverage inadvertently gives her a larger audience and platform,” he said.

Imagine having even less shame than the Jews.

And the Jews were absolutely right, all this is accomplishing is bringing Monika’s truth-telling more attention and helping turn her into a folk hero, while making the oppressive Jewish/Marxist power structure of Canada look like the despicable monsters that they are.

Before Kuckminski’s complaint her video had around 30,000 views, now it has more than 80,000.

And contrary to what many people believe, it is not illegal to deny the Holohoax in Canada as she does in the video. The “Human Rights” tribunals in the various Canadian provinces are not even criminal courts. The most they can do is fine her, but since she has not “spread hate” or violated anyone’s rights, it’s highly unlikely that Kuzminski could be successful.

Therefore, he is doing this strictly to harass her and hurt her financially (the Alberta government gives complainants free lawyers, but the subject of the complaint must pay for their own), as punishment for maybe possibly having hurt the Jews’ feelings.

What I want to know is this: what kind of sick bastard goes out of his way to harass an old lady for the sole purpose of ruining her life, simply because she has an un(((orthodox))) opinion on an historical event? Kuzminski, who is a candidate for Canada’s largest Marxist party, the NDP, truly is a vile, vicious human being who lacks any basic morality or decency whatsoever.

Thankfully, though, he does have a Twitter account.

And while he may gets his kicks by picking on harmless, sweet old ladies, we get ours by picking on soulless, treacherous traitors who actively work for the destruction of their own people and civilization in order to feel good about themselves and maybe get a pat on the back from their Jewish overlords.

Ken is most likely Polish Catholic, so the (((echoes))) around his name must just be to show “solidarity” with the Jews, or whatever. It’s great that so many traitors are self-identifying in this way along with the Jewish parasites that infect our lands though, as this way we will already know to put them into concentration camps as well when the time comes.

When Monika was scheduled to play her violin on Canada Day (July 1st) at the Jasper Community Habitat for the Arts, she was denied a permit by a creature named Dave Baker, in direct violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

His email response to her was simply: “We have considered your application for a busking permit in Jasper. In light of your recently publicly proclaimed non-inclusive beliefs we have decided to decline a permit to you at this time.”

What does that even mean? Nobody even knows.

Typical SJW logic, I suppose: “You’re not included because you’re not inclusive enough.”
