It’s unclear to me whether Mr. Trump is refusing to release the Epstein files because Bibi Netanyahu told him not to or because he’s implicated in sex, potentially with so-called “miners.” What is clear is that he is “crashing out” over this issue.

That does not look good at all. If he is just doing what Bibi told him, it still looks like he’s implicated. I guess it’s possibly both, as the primary reason that Bibi would have this kind of control is that he is implicated. The Jewish lobby has the ability to use political pressure to force Trump to do things like bomb various countries and send money and weapons to Jews for free. But forcing Trump to go out there and say that Epstein didn’t exist, that everyone who is asking about it is no different than the Russia hoaxers, is something on another level, which is much more personal.

Remember that the first time Trump told the media to just shut up about Epstein, he was sitting in front of Netanyahu.

I would not think that’s a coincidence.

Just to be clear, there are “Epstein Files.” It’s not a conspiracy theory that there are files. I saw some really bad takes from Michael Tracey about “Epstein mythology,” and he suggested that there were no specific group of “files.” Epstein was investigated and indicted by the feds and federally prosecuted and sentenced to federal prison. He was later arrested by federal cops and then died in prison. The government, it will not surprise you, keeps a lot of records. There would be tens or hundreds of thousands of pages of documentation recorded by the government about this guy Epstein. That is what people want released. Some of them have been released but a lot of them have not been released.

Whether or not there is an official “Epstein list” – a list that Epstein kept of his “clients” – I have no idea. There would be flight lists. Some of those have been released. But we all remember, or at least I remember, that when Epstein was arrested, it was reported in all media that they found a safe full of CD-ROMs labeled with people’s names, with the format “Young [name] with [name].” Those names have not been released. There were a bunch of hard-drives in the safe. It was, presumably, a whole bunch of videos of powerful people having sex with underage girls, and the government has all of this stuff. The New York Times reported in 2019 that Epstein kept this material to blackmail people.

So, it’s definitely not a “conspiracy theory.” Let’s make sure we don’t get lost here. The government has a lot of information on what certainly and definitely appears to be a “Mossad blackmail ring,” which involved people, presumably voluntarily, allowing themselves to be recorded having sex with underage girls.

That’s another point to be clear on: you would have to be retarded to do it just because you were horny. Prince Andrew appears to have actually done that, but he also appears to clearly suffer from mental retardation. Normal people who we would be talking about here would knowingly have illicit sex on video for the Mossad to keep so that powerful Jews would know they were loyal and give them promotions.

Obviously, not all blackmail is voluntary. For example, Trump’s son-in-law’s father, Charles Kushner, in 2004, sent a hooker to have sex with his brother-in-law when he was drunk at a bar and secretly filmed it and then threatened to show it to the man’s wife (Kushner’s sister) if he didn’t play along with some scheme relating to some kind of federal indictment Kushner was under. So there is secret blackmail.

However, whenever you’re talking about a “blackmail ring,” you’re talking pretty much exclusively about voluntary blackmail. Any kind of systematic blackmail is necessarily voluntary, as you are not going to set up a system of seducing people and tricking them into having sex on video. It has been a thing since forever that criminal gangs require someone to do some crime, such as murder, and then keep some evidence on them. It’s just common sense that if you have evidence of someone committing a serious crime, or something that would otherwise destroy their life, you’re going to trust them, because no such person is going to betray you.

Michael Tracey’s take, which is on some internet website, is total garbage. I also listened to like an hour of him rambling about it on a twitter podcast, and it was dumb. He is literally just being contrarian for the sake of it. Pointing out that the “he’s intelligence” quote from the Florida attorney general comes from Vicki Ward alone (I like Vicki Ward and don’t think she lies but yeah obviously you can’t build an entire case around that), or that Virginia Giuffre had some problems and was definitely trying to get money, or strawmanning with some silly QAnon shit, doesn’t serve to disappear the fact that the government has a bunch of files people want released and Trump is out there saying he won’t release them because they “aren’t credible.” The fact that people said some QAnon-tier stuff about Epstein doing child sacrifices in that temple on his island does not mean that there was not a safe full of hard drives and CD-Roms with people’s names on them, that the government has those materials and is refusing to say what names were there. We still have the fact that whose ever names were on there have not been prosecuted, even though the government has video of them having sex with underage girls, pulled from Epstein’s safe.

This theory that it’s all a theory is stupid. And the only conceivable reason no one other than Maxwell has been prosecuted, the only conceivable reason the government would refuse to reveal any of this information, is that at least some of the very powerful people that we know Epstein hung out with are featured in these sex tapes.

Ask Michael Tracey why billionaire Jew Les Wexner “gifted” Epstein a $80 million New York house. I guess they were friends? So he gave him a eighty million dollar house? He dismissed the fact that Maxwell was the daughter of a top Mossad agent as “a coincidence.” Was the house also coincidental? If you asked Wexner why he gave him that house, would he say “it’s just a coincidence”? Why did Epstein have all this money? Where did it come from? Just people giving him things? That appears to literally be the answer, as his hedge fund was a complete disaster and did nothing but lose money. Leon Black, another Israel-obsessed Jewish billionaire, gave Epstein $158 million literally for no apparent reason. Literally, it was like “for services rendered.”

Anyway, Virginia Giuffre, Epstein’s most prominent accuser famous for the photo with Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell, was definitely after money (find me a woman who isn’t, huh?) with the series of lawsuits, and she might have had some problems, but she gets hit by a bus and the police refuse to come to the scene and then she kills herself a few weeks later? Do you guys know about this? It happened since I stopped doing the daily news, and I was going to write about it, then I was like “I don’t feel like doing that.” But she was living in Western Australia (???), which for those who do not know is very rural (the cities are all on the eastern side of the continent/country). Almost like she was hiding out. And I cannot find the method of suicide listed anywhere. Handguns are almost impossible to get in Australia, I would think especially as a non-citizen. So how did she kill herself? Strangle herself with a soft sheet pressed against a bunkbed like Epstein? Contrary to popular belief, it is actually really hard to kill yourself with pills. A grand total of 8% of suicide attempts using drugs or poison result in death! As it turn out, suicide without a gun is actually pretty hard to pull off. Did you know that 60% of handgun deaths in the US (yes, from the famous “handgun death” statistics) are not black people but suicide? The only other “easy” way to do it is with intravenous opioids, which would require you to know how to tie off your arm to inject them. Also, you can’t prove that’s a suicide, and probably a lot of US opioid deaths are suicide or de facto suicide (subconsciously giving yourself a bigger dose because you can’t take it anymore). But why are we even having this discussion? Why did the Australia police not say how she committed suicide? Is it a privacy issue? Why was the autopsy and toxicology not released? Privacy? For the single most prominent public individual in the biggest criminal case in the world right now?

Also, fun fact: 80% of suicides are men.

Another fun fact: Giuffre’s dad says she was murdered. He initially said he could believe the suicide then came out and said “someone got to her.”

But this case doesn’t hinge on her, and even if you believe Maxwell being the son of a top Mossad agent and Giuffre’s suicide are coincidences, we have all of these other questions, and if there are no questions, then why is Trump doing a world press tour whining about how he won’t release the government’s files and people should just stop talking about it immediately?

Anyway. That’s enough of that. Maybe I’ll write a full rebuttal to Tracey, but his current article doesn’t really give me much to work with, as it is just an assertion that there is no smoking gun that Epstein was a Mossad agent, but the smoking gun is literally the refusal to release the files. Another smoking gun is that in 2005 he was convicted in federal court of sex crimes including “child prostitution” with girls as young as 14 (there were a total of 36 confirmed underage sex partners), and was sentenced to 13 months in “prison” with “work release” meaning he could leave all day and just had to sleep at the jail. (I understand he was rich, but that is ridiculous, and the reason that even if Vicki Ward is the only source for the AG saying “he’s intelligence,” it makes very much sense. I looked it up and found that for the same crime in the same state, one guy got 20 years for two girls and another got 15 for one girl. In real prison. With no “work release.” Again, in the Epstein case, there were 36 girls.) It’s also a smoking gun that he was arrested for the same crimes he’d already been federally prosecuted and served his sentence for, and it’s never been explained how the feds were planning to try him again for the same crimes. The smoking gun is that no one on the videos is being prosecuted, that the feds are not demanding why Jewish billionaires Les Wexner and Leon Black explain why they were giving this guy hundreds of millions of dollars for free. There is a lot of smoke here and a lot of guns.

And Tracey’s “what files are we talking about?” is complete horseshit. “The files” are the government’s records. Questioning the validity of the “client list” concept means nothing. The government has a bunch of videos of some group of men having sex with underage girls, and they have files that say the names of these men. We want those files, Michael. The files that say the names of the people in the sex videos.

Obviously, anything that gets this big is going to have a lot of misinformation surrounding it, and there will always be things you can pick apart. It’s easy to be a critic and people feel very clever pointing out small wrong or questionable things and then saying that the other things are a coincidence. But saying “there’s no there there” about Jeffrey Epstein is deranged and Michael Tracey is deranged, and I now see people repeating this. By the way, I like Michael Tracey, and I don’t really think he is doing this maliciously, or because he’s an obsessive Trump-defender, I think he just really likes being clever and he’s gone full too clever by half with this one. It just looks dumb. But it’s a narrative that is out there now. So I just want to make sure we all know what we’re talking about here, that there is no confusion surrounding the fact that the government at least has a “list” of the men in the sex videos they confiscated from Epstein’s house in 2019 after his arrest for crimes he’d already been prosecuted for.

Back to Trump then: he knew Epstein when he was like, in his fifties, and already very rich. We see these pictures of them together:

When people used to post those pictures, I would think “yeah that’s whatever, they were two rich guys in New York, of course they knew each other.” Now, with his “stop talking about that or else” press tour, one has to wonder.

But the records show that Trump likely first met Epstein in the late 1980s or early 1990s. By the late 80s, Trump was already a billionaire.

So, would he want the Mossad to have blackmail on him? Well. I don’t know. He’s had a lot of financial problems since the late 1980s. His casinos went bankrupt. He had no personal bankruptcy, but he had six business bankruptcies. Obviously, the people who bailed him out were primarily Jewish. And it is certainly possible that he would say “okay, I’ll do a sex tape with a 15 year old” in such a situation. This would of course mean that Trump had been a de facto Mossad agent this whole time, which… I mean… I don’t know?

Part of the problem with this whole situation is that if Bibi were to send any supposed Trump jailbait sex tape to the New York Post or whatever, Trump could then just say “yeah, I did that for the Mossad to get bailed out.” As on this timeline the statute of limitations for any jailbait crime would be expired, it seems that this would be a lot more damaging to Israel than to Trump. I mean it would be embarrassing for Trump, but is it really that big of a deal?

Wait. I just looked it up and actually it says “there is no statute of limitations on child sex crimes in the state of New York.” But I don’t know what that means in reality. As far as anyone knows, Epstein never had girls younger than 14. There have never even been allegations of actual children in the classic sense of the word “children.” So… I mean is Trump going to die in prison over that? Would they be able to prove the age of the girl? I don’t know but even if he went down for this, using this blackmail, if it exists, would expose the fact that the US government is run by Mossad blackmail, which I think would be a much bigger revelation than that Trump had sex with a girl who was a couple years under age. Also, Trump can’t be prosecuted while he’s president, and he could just like, flee to Russia or something.

What I am seeing is that Trump is now very old. I’m getting “Joe Biden” vibes with this guy. Remember that Joe Biden was just bullied and pushed around and told to say things. This is why 80-year-old men should not run countries, particularly not big countries, and particularly not in times of crises. If Trump were still in his sixties, as he was when he launched his campaign, you could make things make more sense. But when someone is 80, really anything they do can potentially be explained as “well, he’s really old.”

Old people can be healthy. If you don’t smoke, drink, or do drugs, and you’re not fat, then your mind is going to degrade way before your body. It’s sad, frankly. I’m against euthanasia. But everyone’s faculties start to degrade at 75, particularly if they are a nonsmoker (smoking is not healthy per se, but it does actually slow dementia in old age), and sometimes, people are almost completely gone by their late 70s, and then live for another 10-15 years.

Doing these recent interviews, clearly under the stress of this Epstein thing – regardless of whether he did something or was just ordered by Bibi to seal it up, it’s stressful for him – he sounds very mumbly and angry.

I think this clip is AI. I don’t know, but I think it’s AI. But if it’s not, then wow, what a great example of what I’m talking about here.

He attacks his supporters – calling them “my supporters” – and says that he won’t forget those who are talking about Epstein.

I’m pretty sure that’s AI. We are already at that thing I was talking about happening for several years where you can’t tell if something is AI or not. Remember when I used to say that? Over and over again? That we were coming to a time when you won’t be able to tell if something is AI? Well, we are officially there. And I’m in it myself. I can’t help you.

How are you supposed to confirm anything now? Honestly, I have no idea, and I am pretty sure it’s what I said it would be: you have to have seen it yourself or talk to someone you trust who saw it.

I think at this point, if Reuters or AP says “Trump said…”, you can consider the quote real, but I don’t know how much longer that will be true. Furthermore, if you’re working at Reuters or the AP and Trump does an interview with an obscure podcast and you can’t figure out if it’s AI, you might just not report on it. There doesn’t appear to be any report on this.

I’m listening to this alleged interview now, I’m at the Trump part. He is saying all of this stuff. He sounds like he’s about to start crying, saying people should stop talking about Epstein. He brought it up immediately at the beginning of the interview.

But someone could have vandalized Wikipedia with this. No one can really prove this doesn’t exist. It has a website. Who can even say what “real” means at this point? I guess in this specific case, it’s a question of “did Trump, in reality, call this podcast and say all this stuff on this tape I’m listening to?”

I’m about ten minutes in at time of writing. After opening with Epstein he’s on to a bunch of bullshit I don’t care about – tariffs and Jerome Powell and whatever. That makes it seem real. Maybe the clip above is fake. I’ll tell you when I get there. But the whole thing could be fake. AI could not just do his voice, but write a script where he rambles about international trade before saying the wacko Epstein thing.

Okay, I finished the interview.

In all seriousness, the interview is real. I initially thought that clip had to be fake, because he threatens his own supporters, literally saying:

All my supporters want to talk about is the Jeffrey Epstein hoax. It’s unbelievable … It’s a disgrace and I remember, I’m gonna remember every one of these guys, they’re my supporters and they just, they love it, they love it, and it’s, it’s all induced by the Democrats. The Democrats are the ones who are getting them to say this stuff. And the files are all setup by the people who ran it for the last four years … but I’m gonna remember people that, that took us away from this, instead of talking about this flawless attack on nuclear weapons that took place in Iran … that’s what we aught to be talking about, not nonsense.

He is borderline incoherent, and sounds really, really old. He actually sounds drunk, but I believe his story about how he never drank ever. I don’t think he’s drinking.

I have recently seen some really good AI stuff done with really cheap apps, and I thought that was so bad it had to have been fake, but no. It was reported on by the media. That guy interviewing him, John Solomon, I guess works for Steve Bannon or something, I don’t know. But yeah it’s a real interview and that is how he talks now and he’s completely obsessed with being mad at people who talk about Epstein. Clearly, his feelings are hurt that his supporters are abandoning him over this. But wow, the solution is not to threaten your own supporters, man. That is not good.

Speaking of solutions, Pam Bimbo just announced she is requesting the release of “some” of the Epstein files. Well, we already have some of the files. We specifically want:

  • The files that say the names of the people in the sex videos, and
  • Any information about intelligence connections, foreign and/or domestic

Note that the intelligence “connections” (all of this stuff is backroom and informal, intelligence assets working undercover get paid in cash, or billionaire Jews just give them free money for no specific reason) would likely be both domestic and foreign, i.e., he was working for the Mossad but also given some type of confidential informant status by the FBI.

Along with those two main things, and those are the two main things, it would be nice to know what investigations were done into Wexner and Black for giving this guy tens of millions. I don’t think “helping out a friend” explains it. Maybe if you’re a billionaire, you help out a friend with a few hundred thousand or even a couple million, but between Wexner and Black, Epstein was given over two hundred million dollars.

Further, I want the files on why and legally how he was arrested in 2019 for crimes he’d already been convicted of and served prison time for. I remember when he died, some people in the media talked about this, and claimed that these were separate jurisdictions (Florida and then New York) and that this meant he could be tried for the same crimes twice. That isn’t true. You can’t be charged in different federal courts for the same crimes. There is something called “dual sovereignty” which is really a violation of the Fifth Amendment but that allows both state and federal charges for the same crime, but two federal courts can’t charge you for the same crime as the federal government has a single sovereignty.

Frankly, there is no reason not to simply release all of the files. It is, in fact, insane that this is even an issue while we are being told “there is no there there.” With the Kennedy files, you have all kinds of potential “classified” material that they can claim is too “sensitive” to be released as it could “compromise national security.” There are all sorts of security protocols around the president that are a secret and therefore “sensitive,” and then if the government had investigated Russia or Cuba or whatever, all of that would relate to “national security.” I’m not saying that is a valid reason not to release the files, especially sixty years later, but it is at least a theoretical reason. If Epstein is just some guy who was having sex with young girls and that’s the end of it, there is literally zero reason that all of this information could not be released publicly, with the one exception maybe being some of the stuff about the investigation into his death as that at least happened in a federal government building meaning “classified stuff.” Everything else should be public. He’s already dead, so he can’t complain about his privacy, and it is obvious that this is a matter of public interest, so what is even the potential reason for keeping any of the government files a secret?

Obviously, we all understand the reason. But why doesn’t Trump have a better excuse? What he said, even before the election, is that Jeffrey Epstein knew a lot of people so a lot of people’s names are in the files and that doesn’t necessarily mean they are actually guilty of anything. But we already know who most or maybe all of these people were. Bill Gates, Alan Dershowitz, Steven Pinker, that guy who made the Simpsons, and on and on, have already been named as having some kind of social connection to Epstein, and it was public knowledge for most of these people. Epstein was holding big social events in New York and Florida with all kinds of people. Along with procuring underage girls for sex, he was a socialite, hence the fact that all of these famous people are photographed with him. I’m sure not all of them had sex with underage girls, so it’s not a reasonable excuse that some innocent man’s name is going to be tarnished because government documents show that they were at one of Epstein’s parties.

Bill Gates did an interview saying that he knew Epstein had been in prison for underage girls and still chose to be friends with him and go to his parties and there were no consequences for him. He did not get “canceled.” Several other people have been questioned about it and just said “yeah, sorry” and nothing happened. Dershowitz admitted to getting multiple massages from girls who “looked over 18.” And he’s a person who has actually written about the age of consent being stupid and was one of Epstein’s lawyers in the Florida case. And he didn’t get “canceled.” He’s still out there doing prominent interviews. Just the other day he was on that show of those guys who took Rush Limbaugh’s timeslot explaining that Epstein was not involved with the Mossad.

So unless the files say “video shows this person having sex with a girl who appears to possibly be under the age of consent,” then nothing is going to happen if someone’s name shows up – including Trump’s, by the way. We already have these pictures of Trump with Epstein and interviews where he’s saying they’re friends. He even implied directly that he knew some of the girls were underage.

In a tape released as an election surprise last year (it got very little media coverage for whatever reason), Epstein, on a 2017 tape, says he was Trump’s “best friend for ten years.”

Given that Epstein was indicted by two different federal jurisdictions, there would be a whole lot of paperwork, including a whole bunch of interviews, so it would actually be more or less impossible that Trump’s name wouldn’t be somewhere in the documents. I don’t see how his name being mentioned in some file would be more harmful to him than the photographs and various statements that are already on the public record. Unless it says “Trump, featured on a video having sex with a teenage girl who may be under the age of consent…”

Yes, Leftists are Talking About This

Trump is correct when he says Democrats are talking about this Epstein thing. It’s all over the Democrat media.

The issue is that that doesn’t mean anything. It would be bizarre if they were not talking about it. Of course they are talking about it. They are obsessed with Trump sex scandals. And of course, the Jews out there talking about it know as a matter of fact that Trump isn’t going to come out and say “Epstein was Mossad,” so there is no reason for them to not talk about it.

In fact, if I were a Jew, I would want to talk constantly about how Trump is stopping the release of the files because he had sex with an underage girl, as that redirects people from pointing out the fact that Trump first told people to “shut up about Epstein” while in a meeting with Bibi Netanyahu, and that the implication of all of this is that Epstein was Mossad. I watched a bunch of clips from CNN and so on talking about Trump-Epstein, and none of them talked about Epstein being a possible Mossad agent. It’s all just sordid sex drama, which is not relevant to anything.

Trump is actually arguing that because Biden didn’t release the files, he shouldn’t be expected to.

Weird argument, but okay.

Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter whether or not Trump did have sex with an underage whore or if he’s just being bullied by Bibi. The effect is the same, which is that the media is covering up the fact that the Mossad was running a blackmail ring in the United States.

This obviously isn’t going anywhere. Apparently, it is going to turn Trump’s people against him much more than bombing Iran did. At least during this lag between the bombing and the inevitable war, that is the case. In general, these wars in the Middle East have been such a feature of America for so long, it’s just background noise. But Epstein, for whatever reason, is something people were really mad about. I guess the reason is probably that people don’t like the idea of a group of elites being above the law. I’m not really sure. Maybe some of it is white knighting for literal hookers. Probably a significant amount of it is more fringe QAnon type reasoning.

Honestly, from the “Trump base,” I don’t see a lot about Mossad. More Israel talk is creeping in now. I recently saw a clip of Matt Gaetz saying Mossad killed Epstein in prison by working with their assets in the US government. But mainstream right-wing criticism of Israel and Jews is something relatively new. I’m not really sure about the original obsession with Epstein from people who don’t think he’s Mossad.

Regardless of the reasons, people are really mad at Trump about this, and with the way he is handling it, things are clearly going to get worse for him in terms of backlash from his supporters. But it doesn’t matter. The US is going to war with Iran and AOC will be the next president and people will get whatever comes with that.

Trump will at least try to pump the economy.

I mean, did you guys see Bitcoin? Shit be flying.

So yeah, it’s fine. Whatever.

Just don’t expect anything to happen, because it’s definitely not going to. Even the war with Iran won’t really feel like it’s “happening.”

I guess the AI thing is going to be something like something happening. As mentioned above, we are already in the world of “there is no possible way to tell if this is real.”

A couple weeks ago I ran across this Twitter account and thought for a second the guy was hiring actors for his memes:

I realized it was AI. But that is just a small Twitter account that is just using the raw prompts of what is presumably some $10 a month software.

He just posted a new one. These are actually really good.

We got another floating microphone there, and he’s not fixing the text (which for various reasons still confuses AI in images). If he would edit, you literally would not be able to tell it is AI. And in six months, the raw prompts will be enough for it to be indistinguishable from real life.

It’s sort of hilarious to think that in a year or so, something like the Superman movie, which they spent $300 million on, will be possible with $10 a month software. Even more hilarious will be the insanity that ensues in the period where people can’t tell what is real and everyone gets all confused about everything before eventually the human mind begins to understand that video doesn’t reflect real life.

I’m not really sure where it will go in terms of the social impact, but this is a big shift. We’ve gotten used to video representing real life. But people will somehow deal with the fact that it doesn’t. People don’t like to feel stupid, like they’ve been tricked, so people will all get tricked a few times and find out they were tricked and then start assuming everything is AI. If the Jews would have waited a couple years to begin their genocide, they probably could have convinced most people that these insane genocide videos we’re seeing are AI.

I guess what will probably happen is that people will just believe things are real if they agree with them and say they’re fake if they don’t agree with them? That seems most likely. But there will definitely be more fake video than real video, on the whole.

If people want to get into making fake videos, I would recommend that you primarily focus on making outrageous shit that promotes the other side. For example, make videos showing IDF soldiers helping Palestinians in absurd ways. Like, “Israeli military holds carnival in Gaza for Palestinian children, gives everyone free cotton candy and funnel cakes.” Or a news report on Russian soldiers throwing Ukrainians into a cage with an eagle and a bear. “Russian soldiers are seen forcing Ukrainians to take off their shoes and throw them in a big pile.” Whatever ridiculous, unbelievable shit you can think of that in theory supports your enemies but is too ridiculous to be believed rationally. Either fake enemy propaganda, or just total chaos. Total chaos is also good. Just invent events that don’t make any sense or are outrageous and incendiary.

You can also just do fun/funny stuff. But this is going to be complete madness, and it’s really here now, but in six months you will really start to see serious fallout. CNN and the rest of these people are going to do reports saying “you can only trust video from us,” and people will be like “lol.”

But yeah, the fallout from AI video, which will include the total end to all extant professional entertainment media as everyone will just be able to make whatever they want, but also including some kind of massive social crisis, the biggest reality collapse we’ve seen, is the only interesting thing I see on the horizon. Scarlett Johansson is condemning antisemitism and calling for legislation to protect the public from artificial intelligence after a deepfake video of her and other celebrities, created with the technology, widely circulated on social media this week.

The AI video showed an image of Johansson in a T-shirt emblazoned with a hand and middle finger extended, a Jewish star and Kanye West’s name. Though fake, the video implied she and others were responding to West’s most recent antisemitic remarks and a swastika shirt he was selling on his Yeezy website, before it was pulled down by Shopify.

“It has been brought to my attention by family members and friends, that an AI-generated video featuring my likeness, in response to an antisemitic view, has been circulating online and gaining traction,” Johansson said in a statement obtained by CNN. “I am a Jewish woman who has no tolerance for antisemitism or hate speech of any kind. But I also firmly believe that the potential for hate speech multiplied by AI is a far greater threat than any one person who takes accountability for it. We must call out the misuse of AI, no matter its messaging, or we risk losing a hold on reality.”

Johansson’s statement continued, “I have unfortunately been a very public victim of AI, but the truth is that the threat of AI affects each and every one of us. There is a 1000 foot wave coming regarding AI that several progressive countries, not including the United States, have responded to in a responsible manner. It is terrifying that the US government is paralyzed when it comes to passing legislation that protects all of its citizens against the imminent dangers of AI.”

The fake video also included AI-generated imagery of Adam Levine, Mila Kunis, Lenny Kravitz, Mark Zuckerberg, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Stiller, Natalie Portman, David Schwimmer and others, set to “Hava Nagila,” a Jewish folk song that is typically played at celebratory cultural events.

The real value of OpenAI collapsed with the release of DeepSeek. The company is going to have to effectively start from scratch, getting rid of everything other than their weights and basing their new code on the open source DeepSeek model.

With the release of DeepSeek, the markets mostly responded by thinking the value of Nvidia had dropped massively, but in the longer run, Nvidia is going to keep making these chips regardless. They were overheated for sure, but DeepSeek still needs the compute.

Right now, the free version of DeepSeek is basically unusable because they don’t have the compute necessary for tens of millions of people to be using the app. The fact that the model can run independently on much less hardware doesn’t mean they don’t need the more powerful GPUs to scale it.

I guess the thinking would be that the Chinese are going to continue to shrink the model, to the point where huge, complex models can easily be run off of a normal $2000 gaming GPU. That might even be possible now, from what I’ve been reading about people setting up local DeepSeek builds. But still, there need to be huge compute centers for companies to run their apps, and Nvidia is going to be making all of that.

Meanwhile, what is the point of OpenAI? I spent an entire week with ChatGPT and DeepSeek open, feeding them the same prompts to check the output, and DeepSeek is so much better, it’s like some kind of sick joke.

DeepSeek is way less censored, even though it has carried over some of the politically correct censorship from OpenAI.

Can OpenAI be a multi-billion dollar company based on the fact that it will claim trillions died at Tiananmen Square? How much of the global economy is based on people asking AI about this event?

Elon Musk escalated his feud with OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman on Monday. The billionaire is leading a consortium of investors that announced it had submitted a bid of $97.4bn for “all assets” of the artificial intelligence company to OpenAI’s board of directors.

The startup, which operates ChatGPT, has been working to restructure itself away from its original non-profit status. OpenAI also operates a for-profit subsidiary, and Musk’s unsolicited offer could complicate the company’s plans. The Wall Street Journal first reported the proposed bid.

“If Sam Altman and the present OpenAI, Inc. Board of Directors are intent on becoming a fully for-profit corporation, it is vital that the charity be fairly compensated for what its leadership is taking away from it: control over the most transformative technology of our time,” said Marc Toberoff, the attorney representing the investors.

Altman posted his reaction on X shortly after the news broke, saying, “no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want.” Musk famously bought Twitter in 2022 for $44bn and renamed it X. Musk responded to that post, saying, “Swindler.”

Musk was a co-founder of OpenAI but left the company in 2019 and started his own AI company called xAI. Over the past several years, he’s tussled with Altman over the direction of the company. He sued OpenAI over the company’s re-structuring plans last year, dropped the suit, then re-filed it.

Elon just makes shit up, and he puts this stuff out to pump his own stock.

But he probably could make this deal.

Again, the entire GPT model is going to have to be rebuilt based on DeepSeek, and then you have the fact that in another six months, China is likely to release a new model, which OpenAI will also have to copy.

Western companies made the decision to assume they would be monopolies forever, to give up on innovation, to replace their entire engineering staffs with Indians, so now they’re in a situation where their entire business model is going to be based on rushing to copy stuff released by the Chinese, while talking about “we are fundamental to the economy because of Winnie the Pooh cartoons.”

Is that really a sustainable business model?

If I was invested in OpenAI, I would be demanding we get this money from Elon. I’d take it and then go dump it in Chinese companies. This seems really obvious.

Tesla is viable because the US and EU are going to be blocking the import of Chinese EVs forever, but that model of protectionism does not work for open source software.

The scammers reportedly aimed to capitalize on a recent high-profile prisoner exchange with Iran, during which Italian journalist Cecilia Sala was released. The AI-generated “Crosetto” claimed urgent funding was needed to pay ransom for other reporters supposedly held in the Middle East, framing it as a matter of national security.

Lawmakers in the US House proposed legislation on Thursday to ban the Chinese-developed AI chatbot application DeepSeek from all government-owned devices, the Wall Street Journal has reported.

DeepSeek has rapidly ascended to become the most downloaded app in the United States. However, concerns have been raised after analyses by cybersecurity experts have claimed that the application contains hidden code capable of transmitting user information to China Mobile, a state-owned telecommunications company prohibited from operating within the US. Washington has accused Beijing of being able to access sensitive data through its applications.

It says right in the app that you shouldn’t put in private data in because it is all accessible by the company.

Beijing has dismissed the accusation as politically motivated “ideological discrimination.” China’s foreign ministry has denied the allegations, asserting that the government does not require enterprises or individuals to collect or store data illegally. DeepSeek has not issued a public statement addressing these specific accusations.

”This should be a no-brainer in terms of actions we should take immediately to prevent our enemy from getting information from our government,” Democratic Congressman Josh Gottheimer stated. His colleague, Republican Representative Darin LaHood, echoed this sentiment, asserting, “Under no circumstances can we allow a CCP [Chinese Communist Party] company to obtain sensitive government or personal data.”

Unfortunately for the US government, every publicly traded American AI company is now legally obliged to copy the open source code of DeepSeek in order to follow their fiduciary duties.

It would be a crime against the shareholders to keep using busted American AI models when the Chinese one is so much better and freely available.

It’s not clear if they will be able to get it to pump out goofy bullshit about “10,000 dead” in Tiananmen Square. I think they will be able to do that, but they’re still going to be using Chinese software as their base code.

This is only the beginning of the new reality that the US is going to fail if it doesn’t steal Chinese technology.

Well, it’s going to fail regardless.

But this situation where Telsas are three times the cost of BYDs and 25% as efficient, where Xiaomi and Huawei are releasing phones five times better than iPhones for less than half the price, while the US covers this all up by blocking import of Chinese products and running around talking about Winnie the Pooh and the six trillion dead innocent victims massacred for literally no reason at Tiananmen is coming to an end.

China is now developing technologies that can’t simply be banned from the US, and Chinese technological advancements are creating a situation where the US is going to be left behind in a primitive state while the Chinese rapidly advance into the future.

On some level, expecting any technology to not be militarized is just unreasonable, no matter what you think about it.

Nuclear power is a miracle, which could provide extremely cheap and efficient energy for the entire world and support a population much larger than the one we have, but nuclear technology can also be used to make very big bombs.

This has been true for every technology, which is pretty much always going to have an application that helps people and one that kills people.

So obviously, any restrictions on AI were eventually going to be removed. What happened with the release of China’s DeepSeek, however, is that the US government stopped being interested in restricting the application of AI, now understand that they are behind in an arms race.

Google only had restrictions on the use of AI for military application because they wanted to avoid scrutiny by the US government, and now they know there will be no such scrutiny.

Google has significantly revised its artificial intelligence principles, removing earlier restrictions on using the technology for developing weaponry and surveillance tools. The update, announced on Tuesday, alters the company’s prior stance against applications that could cause “overall harm.”  

In 2018, Google established a set of AI principles in response to criticism over its involvement in military endeavors, such as a US Department of Defense project that involved the use of AI to process data and identify targets for combat operations. The original guidelines explicitly stated that Google would not design or deploy AI for use in weapons or technologies that cause or directly facilitate injury to people, or for surveillance that violates internationally accepted norms.  

The latest version of Google’s AI principles, however, has scrubbed these points. Instead, Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis and senior executive for technology and society James Manyika have published a new list of the tech giant’s “core tenants” regarding the use of AI. These include a focus on innovation and collaboration and a statement that “democracies should lead in AI development, guided by core values like freedom, equality, and respect for human rights.”

Margaret Mitchell, who had previously co-led Google’s ethical AI team, told Bloomberg the removal of the ‘harm’ clause may suggest that the company will now work on “deploying technology directly that can kill people.”  

“Democracies should lead” is the conceit that this is about DeepSeek. As if that wasn’t obvious.

Of course, democracies can’t actually lead anything. Democracies are riddled with niggers and women, and they are utterly corrupt and tyrannical. The only reason democracies have had any success in recent history is that they didn’t have viable competition, because they managed to smother any potential competition in the crib.

They have competition now, in China, and China is going to win, because China is not a democracy, and therefore it is a better country than any democracy. It’s a homogeneous and patriotic state with a very high IQ and a massive population. It has restrictions on immigration, on women’s rights, on social diseases like homosexuality. It has restrictions on corruption that favor innovation instead of monopoly systems.

The only chance the democracy world would have to beat China at literally anything other than some kind of pederasty competition would be to unleash all of their built-up military might basically immediately in a world war that would result in billions of deaths. But they’re not going to do that, apparently, which means that the future is going to be Chinese, and we’re just sort of watching this thing unfold.

Given that the outcome is effectively predetermined, it means that all of the suffering that democracy countries are going to cause in the net decades, as they lose this global competition against China, will be without any meaning.

The suffering they cause with AI will be minimal, however. American tech companies are all completely worthless, they are run by Indians, and they’ve already lost to the Chinese, badly, the US media just hasn’t decided to tell you that yet. They started to tell you by explaining that DeepSeek is better than OpenAI, but then they said that OpenAI is “still six months ahead” based on the claim that they have some secret model that is better.

Unlike a Moon Landing, however, you can’t fake an AI on a soundstage.

Britain is to become the first country to introduce laws tackling the use of AI tools to produce child sexual abuse images, amid warnings from law enforcement agencies of an ­alarming proliferation in such use of the technology.

In an attempt to close a legal ­loophole that has been a major ­concern for police and online safety campaigners, it will become illegal to possess, create or distribute AI tools designed to generate child sexual abuse material.

Those found guilty will face up to five years in prison.

It will also become illegal for anyone to possess manuals that teach potential ­offenders how to use AI tools to either make abusive imagery or to help them abuse children, with a potential prison sentence of up to three years.

A stringent new law targeting those who run or moderate websites designed for the sharing of images or advice to other offenders will be put in place. Extra powers will also be handed to the Border Force, which will be able to compel anyone who it suspects of posing a sexual risk to children to unlock their digital devices for inspection.

The news follows warnings that the use of AI tools in the creation of child sexual abuse imagery has more than quadrupled in the space of a year. There were 245 confirmed reports of AI-generated child sexual abuse images last year, up from 51 in 2023, according to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF).

Writing for the Observer, he said he would ensure that the safety of children “comes first”, even as he attempts to make the UK one of the world’s leading AI markets.

“There are thousands of stories like this happening behind bedroom doors across Britain. Children being exploited. Parents who lack the knowledge or the power to stop it. Every one of them is evidence of the ­catastrophic social and legal failures of the past decade.”

Pentagon staff have been downloading an early version the Chinese generative artificial intelligence model DeepSeek onto their workstations since the fall of 2024, according to Bloomberg. The Pentagon’s IT experts only moved to partially block the app’s usage after its recent surge in popularity.

Earlier this month, the Chinese startup unveiled its latest open-source AI model, R1, which its creators claim has outperformed leading products from US developers, including OpenAI’s flagship o1, in some cases. The model’s accessibility – allowing anyone to download and run it on their own servers for free – has stirred the open-source community and triggered a sell-off of US tech stocks on Monday.

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), which manages the Pentagon’s IT networks, moved to block access to the DeepSeek website late on Tuesday after many defense employees had already used the latest AI chatbot for at least two days, Bloomberg reported on Thursday, citing unnamed US defense officials.

DISA experts are now assessing the extent of employees’ direct use of DeepSeek through web browsers. When accessed via the company’s website or its popular apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, DeepSeek’s privacy policy indicated that user data is stored on servers in China and governed under Chinese law.

Despite the restrictions, thousands of Pentagon employees continue to use the Chinese-trained AI through the authorized web platform Ask Sage, which provides access to multiple models, including DeepSeek, hosted on its own US-based servers.

Some US military personnel also downloaded an earlier version of DeepSeek onto their workstations as early as the fall of 2024, according to Bloomberg sources. At the time, the connection to China was allegedly “not evident” to Defense Department security teams, and the downloads did not raise immediate concerns.

Well, it said on its website it was Chinese, and most of the interface was literally in Mandarin. But these bluepilled niggers can’t be expected to figure out simple things.

The woke American AI, programmed by useless genetic waste product from Indian brought in through the H-1B program, is so far beyond DeepSeek that it will likely be totally impossible for them to ever catch up.

Because DeepSeek is open source, the Americans can copy the models and pretend they are their own, but copies can never keep up with the original.

DeepSeek is simply one of many Chinese models to come. They are advancing at rapid speed.

Furthermore, Nvidia exercises strong control over the American AI market, and they are going to continue to push for bloated AI that relies on their overpriced GPUs.

In a just-released document titled Antiqua et nova, the Vatican examines the relationship between human and machine intelligence, warning that deceptive digital content could “gradually undermine the foundations of society.”

Concerns are raised about the ability of advanced systems to generate manipulated media that closely resembles reality. The document warns that misinformation, even when spread unintentionally, can fuel political polarization and social unrest. “This issue requires careful regulation, as misinformation–especially through AI-controlled or influenced media–can spread unintentionally,” it states.

The Vatican also called on governments and international organizations to implement safeguards against misuse of technology, adding that it must serve humanity and not replace human intelligence.

It can’t “replace human intelligence.” That is not within the realm of possibility, unless it was able to get information from non-humans, which it cannot do, because there is no intelligent non-human being in the galaxy.
