Jones, who is based in Los Angeles and has worked on about 300 games, notes: “It is very easy to steal a person’s voice. At the beginning of 2022 it took six hours. At the beginning of 2023 it took three hours. Do you want to guess what it takes right now? Three seconds. Anything you have on Instagram, TikTok, any YouTube videos, anybody can create a digital version of your voice from just that. Is it perfect? No but the technology is not getting worse.”

Maybe the 3 second version isn’t perfect, but a lot of it is perfect.

I think Larian is using AI for the voices in the updates to BG3. I don’t see how they are calling all these actors and having them record new material every few months when they release an update. It would be part of their contract, and it is probably in their contract that they’re not allowed to complain about it either.

She adds: “The danger is that people can take all of these billions of voices that are available online, scrape the internet for them, mush them together and create a new voice that does not ‘belong’ to anybody, thereby creating a ‘new’ voice. However, they are still profiting off of my voice.

Artificial intelligence startup OpenAI released a preview Friday of a digital voice generator that it said could produce natural-sounding speech based on a single 15-second audio sample.

The software is called Voice Engine. It’s the latest product to come out of the San Francisco startup that’s also behind the popular chatbot ChatGPT and the image generator DALL-E.

The company said in a blog post that it had tested Voice Engine in an array of possible uses, including reading assistance to children, language translation and voice restoration for cancer patients.

Some social media users reacted by highlighting possible misuses, including potential fraud assisted with unauthorized voice imitation, or deepfakes.

But OpenAI said it was holding off for now on a wider release of the software because of the potential for misuse, including during an election year. It said it first developed the product in late 2022 and had been using it behind the scenes in other products.

Emmy-winning “Breaking Bad” actor Bryan Cranston rallied a crowd of striking Hollywood actors on Tuesday with comments directed at Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Bob Iger.

The actors’ union has asked for a requirement that studios obtain consent to use a star’s digital image, among other protections.

Los Angeles City Controller Kenneth Mejia revealed on Wednesday that the city did not grant the necessary permits to trim the Ficus trees outside of Universal’s Gate 8. On Friday, he confirmed that the studios were issued a $250 citation — the most the city could demand in the situation.

So keep your goals realistic, but do something. Do not tolerate being fat. Do not tolerate having no muscle mass. Do not tolerate bad posture. Seek to look like the average man looked 100 years ago, and you’ll do fine.

Presumably, fewer of them will do it now that the White House email has leaked. Given that they might as well just go out and get “I AM A TOOL” tattooed across their foreheads if they’re going to read a script from Obama on the internet.

I really wanted to see Black Americans come out and say “I am an immigrant, my ancestors just came here for a better life.” That sort of would not work with the narrative. Because with Blacks, they allegedly would have had better lives if evil Whites didn’t enslave them, right?

I wonder if the White House specifically skipped over sending this email to the descendants of slaves?

Wouldn’t it have been very racist either way?

To send an email telling the descendant of a slave to claim his ancestors were immigrants who came to America for a better life = racist.

Excluding Blacks from your pro-immigration propaganda campaign = racist.

In fact, “we’re all immigrants” is in itself racist against Blacks. It implies that they aren’t part of America, does it not?

I wish someone had a bunch of Negro sockpuppets on Twitter and could start a revolution against this campaign.

#NotYourImmigrant or something would be great for the BLM crowd.

But no matter how many times I advise it, no one ever makes an army of fake BLM accounts on Twitter to manipulate their agenda.

Meanwhile, Matt Damon just gave a speech at MIT (he didn’t go there but played someone who did in a movie) attacking Donald Trump.

A presumably Jewish IMDB user has provided us with a pretty comprehensive list of Jewish actors and actresses.  I have taken screenshots of it, for posterity.

It would have almost been easier to list actors and actresses who are not Jewish.

The list does not include directors, producers or writers (unless these persons are also actors), areas even more Jewish than the acting field.

These are the people who control your thoughts, goyim.  They shape your perceptions and the very idea you have of what it means to be human.
