SCUM was developed entirely in Croatia, by the same studios behind the awesome Serious Sam series.

Yeah, I’m pretty pumped for SS4 – and you should be, too.

They put a Nazi 1488 tattoo in their latest game, and when the defectives started playing their symphony of whining, they just told them to get bent.

Unfortunately, their American publisher wasn’t imbued with the same testicular fortitude.

In the short time since its release, survival game SCUM has caught players’ eyes for its ludicrous attention to detail, its slapstick antics, and—in the grand tradition of survival games like Ark: Survival Evolved—diarrhea. It’s already sold over 250,000 copies. Yesterday, though, the game caught players off guard in a far less fun way when they discovered they could put a Nazi tattoo on their avatars.

It looks like a pretty good game. Croteam continued their tradition of not being greedy, and only charge $20 for it, too.

That’s the first review video I saw… But the view count convinced me that the heavens support this game 100%.

A good omen, indeed.

The tattoo, which players could unlock if they purchased the SCUM supporter pack, prominently featured the numbers 14 and 88.

Heh.

Only for their greatest supporters.

Both are white supremacist dog whistles: 14 refers to 14-word statement “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” and 8 refers to H—the eighth letter of the alphabet—so repeating it twice gets you HH, meant to stand for “Heil Hitler.” Discussion and outcry against the symbols circulated on social media yesterday, and today, those symbols got quietly removed from the game.

Of course, that’s what the communists at Kotaku are focusing on – their triumphant victory in tone-policing the world of vidya.

But there’s actually more to this story.

Initially, one of the game’s developers—both Gamepires and Croteam are credited with having worked on it—dismissed players’ criticism of the tattoo. In response to a Steam thread criticizing the tattoo’s inclusion (via PC Gamer), Croteam incubator marketing and community manager Zenoslaf told players: “It’s a game. It’s fiction. If you are offended by some textures in the game, please don’t play the game. Because if we start removing things that hurt someone’s feelings, it will be an empty game, with no people, no weapons, no blood, no humor, no pooping, killing others, eating human flesh, killing animals.”

They basically told SJWs to go fuck themselves.

Based on this response, it’s very unlikely that the devs themselves actually went on to remove the tattoo on their own initiative.

The tattoo and its symbols reference a very real, non-fictional group that killed millions of people last century, and which has also had a recent resurgence. These specific symbols are still in use by current-day neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups; participants in the neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, for example, handed out flyers referring to the numbers “14” and “88.”

Nobody gives a shit, kikes.

Zenoslaf went on to note that the game’s developers are not “right wing” or “Nazi supporters,” asserting that actually, “only offending thing here, in my opinion, is calling us Nazi supporters for no reason.”

Earlier today, the tattoo’s Nazi imagery did get patched out of the game. Both publisher Devolver and developer Gamepires issued statements to Kotaku on the matter.

“Devolver Digital has become aware of tattoos representing neo-Nazi symbology in the newly released prison survival simulation game SCUM,” said Devolver. “We do not agree with use of this symbology or any hateful content, regardless of intention.” Devolver is now “conducting a full review of all assets and content in the game with Gamepires.”

So what happened was that Devolver Digital, an American publisher, put pressure on the Crotatian devs to remove the tattoo.

Devolver is largely a publisher of somewhat edgy indie games.

But apparently, even this company has been infiltrated by commie faggots and they had to cave on this issue.

Gamepires, meanwhile, explained the rationale behind the tattoo’s inclusion, but it has now come to the conclusion that it was “completely unnecessary” to have included the imagery.

“Our intention was to create an atmosphere of the worst of the worst criminals in SCUM, and to portray the horrible type of people who would find themselves in a ‘fight to the death’ situation for a futuristic reality show where the worst criminals are pitted against one another,” Gamepires wrote.

Whatever – they put the tattoo there to be edgy, just like the rest of the game is edgy and over-the-top. They obviously modeled their skins on prison tattoos. Nobody sane gives a damn – the only people whining are the usual suspects: trannies, furries and other degenerates.

The developers of SCUM claim they aren't scum themselves, but the absolutely unbelievable tantrum they threw about having to remove a racist tattoo (which shouldn't have been in there anyway) which included blaming the offended makes me highly doubt their claims…

Is This Tongue-in-Cheek Tho?

People often ask if this 1488 business is tongue-in-cheek, given that it is a product of the old WN movement that most people in the Alt-Right don’t really have any desire to be associated with. People also tend to want to establish the fact that the Alt-Right is a separate movement with separate origins to the previous WN movement, and thus generally when old WN memes are used, they are used with a large dose of irony.

I have used a lot of the old Neo-Nazi/KKK/etc. memes from the 80s and 90s tongue-in-cheekedly. Most famously, I have continually referred to myself as a “Neo-Nazi White Supremacist” (this is more of a media meme than a genuine 90s WN meme, but still fun).

And just generally, trolling the media and the ADL by pretending to be this stereotype they have in their minds is always good, in my view. Because the thing about that is, the kids that we are trying to appeal to recognize that we are not that stereotype, so when the media and the ADL report on us as being that stereotype, they just max-out the lelz while making us look all the more clever.

It really brings out just how unprepared these people were for the rise of a serious political movement with a bunch of seriously angry young men with the actual drive to attempt to take over the institutions of power and reclaim their society.

The ADL ends up doing things like putting Pepe the Frog in their “hate symbol database” – and the media ends up doing things like acting like that’s somehow a meaningful event people should be concerned about.

As far as I’m concerned, anything in the hate database is good for meming.

But no, I don’t think it is entirely tongue-in-cheek – why should it be?

1488 is quite a good meme, I think.

The MP for the far-right People’s Party – Our Slovakia (ĽSNS) Milan Uhrík, may be prosecuted for his statements voiced during the political talk show O 5 Minút 12 (Five to Twelve) broadcast by the public-service RTVS on March 26. Uhrík, however, does not see any reason for the complaint.

“We have submitted a criminal complaint due to a suspicion that the crimes of founding, supporting and promoting a movement leading to the suppression of fundamental human rights and freedoms according to the Criminal Code or the expression of sympathies towards a movement leading to the suppression of fundamental human rights and freedoms, might have been committed,” said Ondrej Dostál, MP for Freedom and Solidarity (SaS), who submitted the complaint, as quoted by the SITA newswire.

Apart from him, a complaint was also submitted by non-affiliated Bratislava city councillor Lucia Štasselová, non-affiliated MP Viera Dubačová and deputy chair of the Civic Conservative Party (OKS) Juraj Petrovič.

During the talk show, SaS MP Ľubomír Galko called on Uhrík to comment on the racist and fascist statements of other ĽSNS deputies and distance himself from them. “Those statements are not the official programme of the party, so yes, we distance ourselves from them,” Uhrík said, as quoted by SITA. He added however, that he liked a particular one, pointing to the need to secure the future of white children. “I don’t see anything bad in that,” Uhrík said, as quoted by SITA. “Consider me racist but I think that yes, we should also secure the future of white children, not only the other ones.”

Štasselová in this respect recalled the statement, “we must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children” which is a well-known statement of racists and neo-Nazis. “The author of this sentence is American racist David Lane,” Štasselová said, as quoted by SITA, adding that the sentence has 14 words. This figure is often used as a neo-Nazi symbol, together with 88, which refers to the Nazi greeting. Uhrík did not distance himself from this well-known neo-Nazi statement during the talk show; he rather claimed allegiance to it, said Petrovič.

The politicians also say that ĽSNS chair Marian Kotleba has recently distributed cheques amounting to €1,488 to three families. Since there is a suspicion that the party claimed allegiance to the neo-Nazi symbol, the Special Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the case, SITA reported.

They now have new symbols, deliberately chosen to look innocuous. Some are adaptations of existing racist images; some have been co-opted from benign cultures.

That means not everyone sporting them on tattoos or clothing is an extremist – some may have worn them because of their original meaning, or may just have a symbol that is similar to these, but different.

However, these are the hateful new icons now circulating in extremist groups.

They singled out the following symbols:

‘The new swastika: the Othala rune’

The Othala rune (ᛟ) represents the concepts of ‘homeland‘ or ‘inheritance‘ and was used by Nazis – with ‘wings’ added to its bottom – by an SS infantry division in the Second World War.

The Othala is now gaining in popularity with neo-Nazis since the US National Socialist Movement announced last year that it was making the rune its new official symbol.

However, the ADL notes that the rune can be found in non-extremist contexts too, such as when used by pagans who write in the old alphabet.

‘The secret dice code’

To the untrained eye, these may look like a perfectly ordinary pair of dice.

But the truth is that their dots hold a secret neo-Nazi code.

The first die shows one and four dots – representing the number 14. The second has five and three dots – which add up to eight.
Together, they form the hate code ‘1488‘.

‘The lettered grave’

They use initials of prominent white supremacists, fascists or other similar figures to show their views.

In this example, the initials ‘RJM‘ represent Robert Jay Mathews, an American neo-Nazi terrorist and the leader of American white supremacist militant group The Order.

He died in a gunfight with law enforcement agents in 1984.

But there was one symbol they brought attention to that really caught my eye…

Charter Spectrum is investigating how someone sent a racist rant through set top boxes to some of its North Texas customers on Tuesday before the cable company quickly deleted it.

“When I first pulled it up I was like ‘what? what?,’” said April Taylor, a new Charter customer. “I was stunned. I couldn’t believe it. I was literally like what? This can’t be real.”

However Twitter users have accused the actress of being ‘an advocate for skin lightening’ while others have described her appearance in the ad as ‘indefensible’ and expressed disappointment that her feminism ‘only extends to white women’.

The author of the piece ‘Perfect Whiteness: The Code Switching of European Cosmetic Companies’ wrote: ‘Emma Watson, forever paraded in the media as a white feminist icon, is the face of Lancôme’s “Blanc Expert” (Expert White) which contains disruptive ingredients intended to whiten the skin.’

Proving once again that all beautiful or otherwise valuable people are secret Nazis, a Russian beauty queen has been outed as a secret Nazi.

The newly crowned winner of the Russian Premier League’s ‘Miss Charming’ beauty contest has lost her title after being accused of neo-Nazism.

21-year-old Olga Kuzkova was selected by Russian club Spartak Moscow to be their beauty queen, and was subsequently judged the ‘most charming’ of all of the representatives of Russia’s 16 Premier League sides.

However, pictures have emerged from Kuzkova’s page on Russian social networking site VKontakte exposing her far-right allegiances.

In one picture, Kuzkova raises her right arm in what appears to be a Nazi salute in front of a wall daubed with white nationalist and pro-Hitler graffiti.

Another image depicts a woman wearing a French maid costume with a Nazi arm band standing in front of flaming oven. As reported in the Moscow Times, the photo was captioned with text calling for the burning of Jews and “khachi” – a derogatory term for Caucasus people.

After CSKA Moscow fans brought the pictures to the attention of Russian footballing authorities Kuzkova was stripped of her title.

Hopefully, she won’t recant.

They are now trying to tie the “scandal” (seems to me its her own business, as her crowning was about her looks, not her politics) to Russia’s World Cup.

The scandal comes with Russia due to host the World Cup in 2018.

Piara Powar, of Football Against Racism in Europe, said “An acceptable long-term reaction can only come through the implementation of an action plan covering all elements of racism, discrimination and far-right involvement.

“The World Cup is a global event. Hosting it means a global spotlight is focused on whoever wins the rights. And Russia will continue to face questions over these issues around the world until we see some real progress.
